idunno how to explain to my wife that nbc hannibal is a really good show and it's way way deeper than "evil man rly good at being evil and eat people" without coming off like I'm begging to watch it again because I'm not, I can't. it ruins my brain in a way I can't explain, it taps into my paranoia in a very dangerous way to me - but that's also why it's good, it's really good. I enjoyed my time with it a lot, even if my mental health was deteriorating rapidly throughout the whole ordeal and if I could reset time and also have a mental shield, I'd love to watch it for the first time and then never again

narcissists (over and covert alike) are wild in the way they catch someone have the slightest inkling of a crush on them and they'll lovebomb then withdraw and then feed little scraps into crumbs of attention for weeks and months and Years and these people will just. Stick. they won't lose the crush. and they don't even know it's happening??? to them, they just have this really charming friend that somehow happens to hit all their buttons in a way that keeps them coming back for more, and they don't see the very subtle manipulation that is happening. even if someone were to point it out to them, they won't ever realise it. it's insidious and it's honestly one of the most disgusting things someone can do to a person. and so many of them are just. out there. some don't even KNOW they're narcissists and don't know they're doing it. but as soon as the attention is withheld for even a second, they'll throw a bone. just to make sure the attention is still being drip fed to them on a daily basis. and it works.

I used to make fake little aquariums/fishtanks out of shoe boxes when I was little but we don't buy shoes really (outside of charity shops which don't have boxes) hmmmmm.....
