hello everyone! as you can see above, my name is red and i go by they/them pronouns! this is anya, my little miranda priestly lol if you’d like to plot with her, please don’t hesitate to like this post and i’ll message you! i also have a discord if that’s easier to plot on.

anya was born and raised in los angeles, california to a vietnamese dad and an african-american mom who both made sure that she was immersed in both sides of her heritage. her mother was a former model turned socialite and her father started a small business in his early twenties that blew up and became an international conglomerate.

she started off her career from a very young age. she was a child model from the age of three and modeled throughout her childhood and into her late teens/up until she was twenty.

honestly she had to stick to mostly editorials and other magazine type spreads because she was too short for runway (something she’s still bitter about to this day, she hates being vertically challenged 😭)

her interest in fashion design started rather early, when she was just twelve or thirteen years old. she didn’t do anything to follow that career path until she was about seventeen and start collaborating with different brands.

for her twenty-first birthday, her father gifted her with the money to start her own fashion line. her brand, ‘house of phan’, blew up pretty fast, in less than a decade. now, it’s basically what chanel is today.

when it comes to her work, she’s quite a hardass. many people have said that she’s hard to work with, but that’s only because she’s so tough. as a woman, she knows that she has to work harder for people to respect her, and her being short doesn’t exactly help either lol she’s basically like miranda priestly from devil wears prada when she’s on the clock.

away from work? she’s a total sweetheart. it’s like two completely different people, you’d think she was a different person if she didn’t look exactly the same.

has a severe inferiority complex regarding her height, so 99.99% of the time, you won’t catch her wearing anything other than heels to give her a little boost.

highkey materialistic as fuck. she was spoiled rotten growing up, not to the point of her being a stuck up bitch, but she’s been known to turn her nose up at people who even suggest that she buy anything that’s not designer or worse - fly coach or business. anything less than first class is.. the slums for her.

she does use her wealth and privilege for good though! she’s started organizations to help low income families, started college foundations, donates to charities and organizations. she’s all about giving back to the community.
