#naruto #uchiha itachi #chapter 384 #of course the point of all this spectacle in the manga is to have like. good visuals. #but if we'd like to think abt his motivations on a character level it really makes you wonder abt how much he was overcompensating to try #and convince sasuke of his motivation #the genjutsu vision of his parents dying the throne the eye stealing threats etc #its makes him look extremely obsessed with sasuke never learning the 'truth' of him actually loving sasuke #and it's like man you didn't need to go that far. #it was actually pretty easy to take you for a bad guy. #sorry that my conclusion is just 'man you didn't have to do all that' i feel like we came to that conclusion already #well i enjoy it :) thanks for the spectacle kishimoto
