On a lighter note, I got into Nu:Carnival a few days ago! So far I've mostly been grinding and trying to clear as much of the current events and their stages as I can, but I've loved what I did read of main story. Especially Eiden.

I am shamelessly admitting that the Salacious King card preview was singlehandedly what made me finally start playing (I downloaded the game a while back, like a few weeks or so, but couldn't bring myself to start). I need that man. I'm honestly so fucking down bad for Eiden, it's kinda embarrassing. I hope I'll eventually get his other SSR card, too. He's just so!!! Ugh, I want to be his maid. Loveable bastard.

Also, I ended up wanting to adopt Garu and Karu as my little brothers and now I am mentally preparing myself for the awkwardness of reading H-scenes with them, lol. My boys... I just want to pamper them, cook tasty food for them and give them headpats daily (even at the risk of having Karu bite me for it)! Let me take care of them! Please!

In conclusion: I can finally understand what your Nu:Carnival posts are about, yay ＼⁠(⁠^⁠o⁠^⁠)⁠／

I love Eiden. I cannot explain to you how many times I pulled last year to build him up to 3*. He is such a little freak (affectionate) and a complete sweetheart that genuinely wants the best for all of the clan members. I adore him and will always do my best to get his cards (they only come out once a year, so thankfully that's a rare time I have to whale). I also loooooove how some battles actually require me to use strategy or switch out my team based on what a card's benefits are. I actually feel like getting many cards serves a purpose in this game!

And, uhhh, yeah. Salacious King is... fuck. I am dumb looking at him. I'm so fucking gay. But, just a heads up, Galactic Mist Eiden (lat year's card) will likely get a banner than requires sorcery gems (the red gems that are hard to get if you're f2p). 2 gems for a 1x, 20 gems for a 10x. Nu:C is unique in that you don't get increased pull rates for a 10x so you can draw a few 1x if you really want. But... yeah, not a cheap card to try and pull the second time around.

Garu and Karu.... AHHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHAHA

I mean.... Good for you (no one tell 💛 about what to expect later in the game)

Also, please simp in my inbox. I love talking about fictional characters. I adore them all so much. I am legally obligated to scream about them (especially Kuya, Blade, and Rei). I am also a massive Aster and Morvay defender (I was in the trenches begging for more cards and scenes with them before we got Galactic Mist Eiden and their SSRs).

Maybe a bad spending decision, but i bought the SSR concept..... absbhsbwvs it was worth it to me honestly i can't stop gushing over it

but i thought the least I could do was share the art and the little story bit, if anyone doesn't want to spend the gems but is curious (and i get it honestly.. just one concept that can't even be deepened might not be worth the 700 ♡ no judgement)

The art is soooo so beautiful.... idk much about the techniques of art though, or how to analyze it, or what some of the things might be trying to symbolize, so I'll keep those opinions to myself :') but it's nice to look at ♡ i love the cloud buildings in red

This isn't too exciting honestly... It's nothing that isn't told to you in her reflections. "never worries about a lost" might be a translation error too 🧐 it sounds a bit weird

and here... is probably my favorite detail in the whole concept ♥️ the way the waves emerge over the buildings. It looks like a humpback whale too which i absolutely adore ♡ they're actually my favorite animals :') i know enough to say that they do often symbolize a sort of power in calmness (as they are gentle, slow, meandering creatures who make only a small movement every so often, yet it's large and powerful enough to create ripples and waves across the ocean; only a little of their energy goes such a long way) I think it's very befitting of Yexiao ♡ ✿

quick question I'm a dolphins twst EN server dm considering refeshing my stamina with gems..do you know how much it cost it is ten gems every time or does it increase or is there cap limit say like 10 refreshes. and is it recommended to do so or not ? thanks

Hello~

TWST has no cap limit on the number of times you can use gems to refresh your LP. It will always cost 10 gems.

However, unless you are desperately trying to finish grinding an event, I would not recommend you use gems to replenish your LP. I'll admit, I did that and that was the gateway spending for me to whale, because it's so easy to get more gems if I just forfeit all mortal possessions to the mouse. There's so many other useful places to use those gems, such as on special event banners to summon cards or the Gem Shop where you can purchase keys and starshards at a better price (once per month).

Also, during certain timeframes (such as holiday campaigns), the JP game has sometimes also provided a Paid Gems shop to buy items from. These have had tenfold summon keys, SSR awakening perfumes, and other useful things. If you only dabble in spending money in the game, you'll want to save those paid gems for those campaigns.

Granblue Fantasy is a chronium browser game. It means you don't need to download an app, and can play it on your computer as well as your phone, as long as you have a chrome browser.

switch the language to English on the main screen and tadaa you can start the prologue.

Upon having to create an account, i recommend registering on Mobage, since it's the best out of the three (and the only one to sign on if you consider whaling one day). The page is in Japanese so this will be the tough part, but with an auto translator and/or using this website you will be able to set it up smoothly.

My other few advice is: Go with the flow, do not put too much pressure on yourself. The gameplay can be a little confusing, so the best is to think of any character you may like and want to focus on, like some goal to play.

For example, are you interested in the tragic angels? if so, watch into playing about 44 chapters of the main story to unlock their stories. Or would the Dragon Knights get your interest? In which case, play 12 chapters of the main story to unlock their saga.

The wiki is your friend. You should also follow the unofficial twitter that gives you all the infos you could hope for.

It's wise to link your twitter to granblue if you intend to play a lot since to ask for help for raids we all rely on asking help on Twitter.

Another important thing to learn about: the gacha pity system.

Granblue works so that, if you pull 300 times on a banner (30 x 10 pulls), you will be able to get one of the character in rate up during that banner. It's called "Sparking". However your pity resets anytime a banner resets. As such, it's usually recommanded to save at least 300 pulls in order to only pull when a character you want is in rate up, so you can claim them for yourself.

There is also a "Classic Draw" pull page which never have the banner reset, where you can accumulate pulls in order to pull for old characters who are mostly outdated playstyle wise, but count among some fav favorites (Percival, Lancelot, and Siegfried for exemple all have their base unit in this banner)

Point is: save your pulls until you have about 300. this website can help you keep track of it.

If you happen to want to pull regardless, i would recommand pulling when the Draw button is golden. it means a Gala with SSR rate up is on, along with Grand characters (some of the most powerful in the game)

One thing you will want to hear: you can uncap weapons to a higher level by using dupes. Do not do it for GACHA SSR weapons. The reason why is more High Level stuff, but just trust me on that, we all have uncapped a Gacha SSR Weapon that We Regret Having Uncapped.

Another thing: When a story event is live, if you don't feel like reading it (either because you don't want to now, or it's a part of a saga you haven't read), go through the story to skip it when it's live. You will, this way, get the rewards for clearing the event, and the story will be saved in your game archive (called the Journal) for you to revisit anytime you feel like it.

This is for the things i think you need to be aware of, else, for the rest, the game will hold your hand as much as possible. Be gentle with yourself, don't push yourself too much, and just enjoy the story. For the gameplay, come back if you need precisions on how to build grids, this is a whole can of worms even HL people cry about. you'll be fine.
