In my experience, there is some small irony in Mayfield's update. Not having anything to do with he himself, but actually to me. In March of last year, March 31st, in fact, I broke up with someone I had been with for a few years(hi sorry if you're reading this, lmaoo). We were childhood friends. No bad blood, just an absolute wave of depression, dissociation, and isolation. For the first time in my life, it was really hard to talk to people. It still is. It genuinely felt like the world had ended for me, but it was still moving. So what does a girl gotta do to avoid her problems efficiently? Start a brand new form of media. Camp Here and There is what ultimately helped me through that. I was able to come to terms with a lot of stuff. It was a piece of solace in a world that offered none. Even though it seems the opposite has been true for Mayfield, I know what that feels like to some extent. It could take five years to finish S2, I'll still fucking wait WOOT WOOT!
