The Queen Has Arrived | Hades & Zeus

Hades reaches for his phone when Zeus’ text tone rings out, checking the screen and almost dropping right out of his couch when he sees the first four words only. He wastes no time in opening up a reply, rolling out of his couch in a more controlled fashion and getting up on his feet.

It’s all Hades sends his brother as he’s already walking out of his apartment and over to the stairs. The elevator takes horribly long to get anywhere, especially in this case where his brother has his main lady over and needs him for a second outside. It takes him admittedly much less time than usual to take the steps - probably because he goes two or three at a time - and then he’s already on the floor above his, looking around for Zeus to see whether or not his brother is alright.

Closing the door of his apartment behind him Zeus breathes out a sigh. Trying his best not to think of how Hera had managed to make him the happiest and saddest god alive in the matter of some sheer minutes and with the use of a couple of words, the King of the gods began with making his way over toward the elevator. Pulling strength out of the knowledge that his brother was on his way to him he smiled lightly at the god when he appeared in the elevator. “Brother,” he said warmly while entering the elevator. Pushing the button so it would take the both of them to the ground floor Zeus pocketed his hands next.

Waiting for the doors to close he went to lean against the left side of the elevator with his back. Facing Hades a rather pensive look appeared on his face. “I found Hera in my bathtub.” The younger of the two stated. Realizing how ridiculous his statement might sound to his brother a smile curved his lips upwards. “Don’t worry, she had simply mistaken my apartment for hers. I don’t know why though.” Smiling softly at his brother Zeus couldn’t suppress the small hint of amusement however laying in it.
