Not Bittersweet... Still Bitter

#CharlestonShooter was sentenced to death. Please quit sending asks to @officialssr that are hating on the characters present there. This post is being made in light of recent asks this blog has gotten that are hating on Howard Stark.

This is not the real MCU.

The version of things that the 'official' accounts roleplay with is very different. Howard from officialssr is a good guy, who has done nothing that the fandom hates him for.

The mod over at officialssr is very distressed and frustrated at having to explain this over and over again. They have asked that this post be made to make it clear to you all that it ruins the roleplay experience for a lot of people if you begin to hate on characters in spaces where the hate isn't welcome. It causes displeasure. The officialssr mod is on the brink of deactivating their tumblr, because the experience is no longer enjoyable for them due to the fact that the blog seems to be dealing only with hate towards a character, and nothing else.

We are not blaming the people who were unaware of the fact that this Howard is a good person, but we do request you to stop sending hate to him (or any other characters).

If you wish to send hate to characters. Accounts such as @officialssr (who is dealing with it currently ) @therealhydra (who's mod has gotten it in the past and now does not wish to interact with their blog anymore due to hate) @theofficialshield (we do not tolerate any of this) are not places to do so.

Oh hell no, we ain't going to the TVA because it'll be 'a nexus event'. Although they're welcome to come to Avengers tower where we'll be having thanksgiving dinner with @theactualavengers. I'm sure Casey would love to see a fish, and Tony would like to show Mobius his jet ski collection.

HYDRA will probably crash the party (like every year) but we'll welcome them nonetheless, because we have to be grateful that they're our arch nemesis and all that jazz.

Life. A word we all know, and yet we do not. What is life? Is it fictional? Are we all just characters, portrayed by some other person? Is it a dream, a hallucination?

Or maybe, maybe it isn’t fictional, and yet it is. The world itself, the events that happen—those aren’t fictional, they’re real. But the people? The catalysts behind those events, big or small, public or private, famous or personal—those people? The ones who decide which direction a country should go, as well as those who only have to figure out meal plans and laundry? Those people are fictional.

Not in a physical sense, of course. But rather, the personas we individually have created. One publicly, for social media, late night shows, the one for the world to see. One for friends, close friends, and family, those we trust enough to let them see through the public facade and to where what they see is the, less false but nevertheless fake, private façade. One for ourselves—one to lie to us about who we are, be it to make use think ourselves better than we are or worse. Portrayed by the person locked inside, the person we were when we were little, before the dust of the world began to coat us, to turn into clay and form new features around us.
