all alone just started playng this is terrible lets get it

so day6. a band i only found out about in late june (thank u boxy) and before this i only ever listened to bts and mx bc my friends stan them so i thought i was gonna expect boys dancing, the usual.

i clicked i smile and i lost my fucking shit as soon as i saw the instruments because prior to day6 i was a big 5sos fan so this was rly resonating to me tbh and i was just !!! so fukcng excited??? i never intended to even get into day6 honestly??? but after witnessing how good they are and watching about all of the available mvs at that point i was completely in awe so i caved a created a stan twitter for them.

now, this isnt even the most of it. after becoming a fan i realized how much more these 5 boys are. they compose (if im not wrong) and brian writes lyrics for the songs each month because of their everyday6 project and again, im wow-ed because??? the amount of dedication???? they went from releasing 2 title tracks in 2 years to releasing 12 title tracks and 12 bside tracks in a single year. they havent released the december song yet but haviing to work on 2 or more songs in 4 weeks is fucking amazing if you ask me.

theyre really talented and theyre just so versatile (am i using that word correctly) and each month their songs sound different. this project has given them the opportunity to try new things and you can hear the steady improvement in each of their vocals (dowoonie not so much since he barely gets lines, but we all know hes working hard) and if you listen to their debut song - kongchu and compare it to the version they released along with sunrise it just???? the drumming has even changed from the original version nd its so noticeable that whenever i hear kongchu from 2015 i know its the old ver

to add to those, they do vlives every week and although those vlives are always scheduled it still makes my day seeing them and watching them do the usual.

one thing im upset about is that how they barely promote themselves, they rarely get on variety shows (the most is individual schedules) and we, as mydays never really get to know the boys so its harder to fall for them as a whole. i dont know if its jyp or day6′s decision but if this is how they want to be known for - their music only, then so be it. we still have jae’s presence on youtube, music access and asc. thats the most we can get and it makes it difficult for us to learn about the rest but thats okay.

another thing. their concerts are something i always look forward to (even though my interest has died down a bit;) their concerts are just so fun to listen to?? there’ll always be mydays who stream the concert so everyone else can listen to them play and they sound so good live it drives me crazy. mydays are always so hyped and whenever mydays sing along it just gives me goosebumps??? bc theyre so???? good?????

tldr; day6 deserve more, following wise and promotions wise because they work so hard and once this project ends i hope they’ll manage to rest but still remain as a presence that will be known instead of returning to jyp’s dungeon.

documenting a dream i had

started out remarkably like high school musical i dont know why

there was a boy and he had a purple and yellow (?) bomber jacket, he was supposed to be troy and i guess i was supposed to be gabriella except i had no control over what gabriella does

guy (his name isnt actually troy but idk his name) has short brown hair and he looks like the standard 17-18 year old in a john green novel kinda way, the kind that is constantly turning to look at you and smiling at you

we were already casual friends before this cuz we have same classes but we were spending more time together these days idk why

sometimes when i meet him he’ll be wearing an orange and green sweater

someone with authority (i dont remember if it was a popular jock or a teacher) was pressuring him into doing something and i told them to back off (calmly i think) and that got us closer

then gabriella missed an opportunity somehow (i’m saying gabriella cuz i wasn’t lucid and making decisions at this point in the dream) by not showing up to something troy asked her to go to

this causes troy to lose interest in her quickly and thats when i lucidly ask myself why we called this high school musical because this has nothing to do with high school musical

so my subconscious switches it up ig and puts my POV in someone else. When i first see that “someone else” they (me) have a hoodie on and floppy black hair in front and they’re sitting on a motorcycle. They have this cute wide grin on.

the funny thing about this is that i have the POV of this person, i feel what they feel nd they have the same subconscious as me but i have no influence on what decisions they make, and there is no guarantee that we look the same.

well this person turned out to be a guy. i was shook cuz wow mlm in MY dream?? unexpected but yea a bunch of cute stuff happened i dont remember (which is so frustrating) but i remember at one point poking my nose into his cheek so that was cute ig and there was a whole confession scene where he said that he doesnt see me as a friend anymore and lots of hijinx and travelling here and there with a gang of misfits which i somehow belonged to

and then it starts to get wild

before anything else happens theres a little cutscene where my parents and i are in a house with an interior that looks similar to my grandfather’s house

the guys from my class irl are all there and i have no idea why. i also dk why they all look like seventeen members??

i go into the room that should be my grandfather’s room where he used to sleep and i hear my parents downstairs in the kitchen talking in broken Chinese to my male classmates asking them something dumb sounding.

After that I scold them cuz wow thats embarassing and they’re like oo we can’t talk to your classmates now?? so i was rly confused cuz since when do they know how to speak Chinese

then i rode on the guy’s motorcycle hugging his back, and we were yelling over the wind just to talk to each other

then for some reason this guy turned into a little kid so that he could be with me. we were standing in a garden when he told me and we hugged and his purple bomber jacket looked big on him now and the dream ends there

usually in my dreams there’s always some sort of romance involving myself and someone in the dream, but the romance only serves to heighten/match the aesthetic-ness of the place in my dream. and usually in that romance nothing in particular happens, the characters are just naturally inclined to each other and it’s fate i guess, and yeah that sort of dream romance is charming in its own way.

but what struck me most in this dream is how i woke up with the strongest feeling of love and being cared for. it’s usually simpler than that. usually i wake up craving the experience of a simple love. this time it was so complex that it made me feel emotional.

ive just never had a dream where the focal point is so obviously the romance and the buildup, and the dream scenery is just not really there. or maybe i have had dreams like that but this time I just don’t remember the scenery as much. idk but whatever it is, there’s a shift now. I think my subconscious is doing some tinkering.
