Hi. So, I saw Mikey feed Odyn a bottle of (presumably) milk, but what other things do the turtle tots like to eat?

It was indeed milk!

We don't truly know how exactly ronin Mikey grew up but I'm assuming that in like most iterations of the turtles, food and a place to stay were hard to come by when growing up, specially when Mikey and his brothers were babies. Because of this, Mikey knows what is like growing hungry and not letting any food they had the luck of having go to waste.

In the comic Mikey is shown growing his own crops and harvesting them So in the au Mikey grows his own vegetables and fruits making it easier for him to prepare food for the babies. He tries his best to make a large variety of dishes for them because he wants them to try as much they want and never go hungry. Since Mikey is a turtle mutant himself he tries to makes dishes that would appeal to their turtle cravings too, like algae! In addition to this, in the au Mikey sells his harvest to nearby towns to manage with money or stuff he and the babies need for the house! (like ingredients to make homemade pizza :] )The people from the towns he usually visits don't really mind him or the babies because they are aware they are Hamato clan members and the people from the towns actually like having the little turtle family around! (Since Mikey can't really leave the babies on their own yet (not like he wants to either), the towns knows of their existance and they love them)

oh yeah, i love the always sunny book! my favourite parts are the insane cringe-inducing mischaracterization present in every single one of the "audio transcription" sections, the prioritization of shocking, edgy, gross-out humour over actual funny jokes... and you know, i gotta give props to the admirable work of reducing characters to one singular bit, especially charlie's cheese thing, which, while funny in small doses, is absolutely HYSTERICAL when talked about nonstop over several hundred pages. also love the implication that charlie regularly disposes of corpses for the gang. and the addition of slurs in a book that came out in 2015, long after the show dropped their usage, is also really cool.

#anyways highkey considering rewatching goes hollywood teehee #and its all super specific to my own experience ofc. bc i forget that sd for the dootuals (and others!) may not have been a monumental part #of their childhood and their no. 1 interest/favorite thing/obsession for YEARS #like scooby literally helped me learn how to READ. how do i introduce someone to that for the first time ever. how do i convey the enormity #of that. #like how do i show someone the feeling of playing cheesy scooby themed web games on the computer at my grandmothers house. of eating #EXCLUSIVELY scooby fruit snacks (i loved the little blue ones) and playing scooby dominoes and having a toy mystery machine and little toy #gang members that i can STILL see the bite marks on and checking out something for the very first time at my school library in kindegarten #and its a scooby doo comic with batman and wonder woman in it. and being daphne for Halloween (i was always daphne and my brother always #shaggy) and learning to READ and love reading as i TORE through the scooby solve it yourselves at school. #and how i loved watched scooby on boomerang (the old one when it was blue) and would get SO excited when a scooby movie marathon was on #instead of the regular episodes and would sit there for HOURS watching them. and how i always cried whenever we watched zombie island #like in what way can i possibly explain the force of that love to another human being. like where can i even start. #theres no magical order to watching can recreate that. i couldn't even tell someone where to start because ive been loving scooby since #before i can even remember. how can you even begin to share that with someone who didnt have those same experiences? #....... #i did it again didnt i #swishy you need to STOP- #blah
