OC Interview

No one tagged me, but I really wanted to do it. So here I go.

What is your name?

Tyris

What is your real name?

Well, it’s just Tyris laughs, I don’t have a title, just rank, and you didn’t ask me for that.

Do you know why you were called that?

I honestly don’t know, my mother never told me, but I suspect it was the name of a grand parent or something. Shrugs

Are you single or taken?

That depends on the night, are you taken? Grins

Have any abilities or powers?

I’m not a mage, nothing special like the Inquisitor or anything. But I’ve been told that I can be dangerously charming.

Stop being a Mary Sue

Mary Sue...who is that? Sounds Fereldan maybe, though a little tongue on it, I suppose it could be from Orlais.

What’s your eye color?

leans forward and stares. I’m told they are an argent silver, is that true, look deep into them and tell me what you think?

How about your hair?

Dark, maybe black. I guess that depends on the light.

Have you any family members?

There are very little people in this world without some form of family. I have a mother. Her name is Dhaveira and works as a slave in Marnus Pell. I’m hoping to free her of that life soon, she’s not treated poorly, but I believe she deserves better.

As for my father, I can’t say that I ever met the man. Oh, I know who he is, I’ve been given his name. I know that he was also some high ranking member of the Magisterium before some ex-slave ripped out his heart in Kirkwall....so yeah, safe to say he was not, and will never be in the picture so to speak.

Other than that, I suppose there is Bryce Caster, I met the man back in Haven and he’s been like a brother too me since, when he is not chucking me off a rampart.

Oh? What about pets?

None to speak of. I’ve not the best reputation with animals...especially horses.

That’s cool I guess, now tell me about something that you don’t like.

Injustice, corruption, radishes. Really thats a vague question. There is a lot that a person might not like, and for a pretty wide assortment of reasons. You’ll have to be a bit more specific. How about this...I don’t like the feeling of how my neithers stick to the side of my leg on a hot day. Will that suffice?

Do you have any hobbies you like doing?

I carve a little, took it up while my company were traveling. Really, you can’t really work on your form when you are on the march, so I took to carving little things here and there while we walked. Also, I love to dance, ever since I was a child, it was always so...freeing.

Ever…killed anyone?

Many people, many times, for many reasons, mostly for coin. I’m a mercenary and a Duelist atop that. Killing people is part of my work.

What kind of animal are you?

What kind of question is that...what kind of animal am I...what am I supposed to say? Fine, I dont know, maybe something sly like a fox, or agile like a bird...a fox with wings...wouldn’t that make me a bat...well that doesn’t fit at all.

Name some of your worst habits?

I seldom think before I jump...at least when it comes to my heart. My head, of course, you would die on the battle field or in the a dueling ring if you didn’t think about what you were doing. But my heart, it just barges though life without a care in the world for the feelings of others. I’ve a very selfish heart and It is not likely that will every change.

Do you look up to anyone at all?

Many people. Her Worship, Inquisitor Araine Caster for her dedication to the cause. Bryce, her son, for the way he always seems to have things under wraps. Alysanne and Ras’lahna, two women that have shown me with their love for one another what it means to truly care for another person. And of course there was Elizabeta...my mentor and instructor in the art of the blade. I would be nothing without her guidance. Maker rest her soul.

Gay? Straight, or Bisexual?

Smirks, does it really matter? Love will find you no matter who you are, I’m just open to the possibilities that it my come from anywhere.

Do you go to school?

I didn’t formally attend any scola or lyceum, I am the bastard son of a slave, there would have been no point. However, I learned enough from the company I serve with, and from Elizbeta. I know enough to get the job done, and more than enough to get into trouble.

Do you want to marry and have kids one day?

I don’t think that is in the cards for me. Do I want that someday, of course...maybe. But I am a soldier in a bloody war against a creature that fancies itself a god. If I were going to be honest, I would not lay my bets on the canon fodder.

Do you have any fanboys/fangirls?

Do I...no, I’m asking you. I have no idea if I have any fans. If I do...well...why?

What are you most afraid of?

What everyone is truly afraid of, reaching out your hand with your dying breath and finding no one there to clutch it. laughs Really no, I am abosutly terrified of skinks. Creepy little lizard, snake, things. shudders

What do you usually wear?

Clothes mostly, though I can change that if you would like. smirks. I wear what would be typical for a man of my station. A shirt, breeches, some boots, and a jerkin or long surcoat, belted. Most of my bodily decoration is reserved for the blades I carry on my arming belts. It is they that deserve most of the attention I might garner.

Do you love someone?

There are a lot of people to love.

When was the last time you wet yourself?

Really, you ask me this. Sighs. I am soldier, sometimes when you are deep in the trenches, or storming a fortress, you can not really stop to visit the latrine.

is there still an insane monster with a corrupted dragon that can flatten whole temples...yes...then I think that maybe, just yes I may have another accident at...some....point. Kaffas, you were talking about this interview.

What is your social class?

Technicly, I am Liberati, a freed slave from the Imperium, however here in Skyhold, I am elevated to something closer to the presentry. Again, I am a soldier, there is nothing special about me that cannot be trained into another man.

How many friends do you have?

I would like to think several. A few close friends. Bryce, Alysanne, Ras’lahna. Maybe a few others, but the ones I listed are the closest.

What are your thoughts on pie?

Ahh, the crux of the interview at last. Yes, I have an opinion on pie and that opinion is that it is better than cake, and should be topped with chilled cream and fresh fruit.

Favorite Drink?

Water most days, sometimes coffee if I can find a reasonably priced batch of beans.

What is your favorite place?

In bed wrapped in the arms and legs of my lovers...is the answer that I suspect most would think I would say, and they would not be entirely wrong. But there is little that beats the view of Skyhold from the the valley below, just after dark, when all the fires are being lit. The surrounding night makes Skyhold look to be a castle floating among the stars. It is magical.

Are you interested in someone?

...yes...

What’s your bra cup size/how big is your Willy?

I’ve had no complaints, if that is what you are asking. How about you tell me your intimate details and then we can compare notes, deal?

Would you rather swim in a lake or the ocean?

I’ve been in the ocean, there is no end to it...just too much possibility. I suppose for most that would be a good thing...but to me...its just too much.

What’s your type?

I enjoy a good brunette, or the odd blonde. A redhead can be fun to add some spice. But really I have no real type, it’s all about what is in their hearts. If they make me laugh and forget what we have had to endure, then I am more than happy to spend my days and nights with them.

Any fetishes?

...do you have enough paper, how about ink...are you sure?

Seme or uke? Top or bottom? Dominant or submissive?

It depends on the situation, but I typically prefer a more dominate role.

Camping or indoors?

I live in the wilderness, camp wherever the inquisition sends me. So yes, I prefer to sleep in a nice bed when the opportunity presents itself.

Are you wanting the interview to end?

Are you already tired of my company, we could always find ourselves to a tavern. The Herald’s Rest is just a few flights of stairs away?
