i’m working on a restaurant fic rn and me and my bf are joking about how the chapter names should be restaurant lingo like “86” or “corner”.

and he’s like, “one chapter can be called behind and then the next chapter there should be a betrayal and you can all it behind with a knife”

#tiff.op #me and him used to both be servers during uni #and we worked at the same chain but different locations #(before we started dating but we were friends) #and there were only 2 of this chain in our town so our restaurants use to lowkey compete #i recently read On Writing by Stephen King and he suggested writing about something you know #like an experience you had or a job you worked at #and i’m like whelp i already wrote about accounting so let’s try serving!! #so far it’s partly funny memories from when i was a server and part actual plot #i can’t wait to write another fic after this one about my experience as a cashier at walmart 💀
