WELCOME TO CROW'S 2023 DTIYS!!!

Deadline: Wednesday, November 15th, 2023 (two months from now). I'm planning on closing submissions at noon that day, but this can be flexible if people need more time.

For those of you who have not read Two Quarters Make A Half, it is my Separated ROTTMNT AU. The chapters are posted here on Ao3. The character in this DTIYS is Othello, the Bad Future Timeline Donatello from Two Quarters.

Rules:

Absolutely no Tcest, NSFW, or ship content of any kind. I should not have to say this, but I must.

The background must include the three colored rays. You may add details to the rays, or draw Othello's brothers within the rays, but the colors must be included.

Mild eyestrain is allowed, but please be moderate.

If you would like to include the song lyrics I have above, or the lyrics already in the image, that would be preferred but not required. The song is Take Me Home by Bunt., which is included in the Spotify playlist for Othello below.

It is not required that Othello holds a purple hyacinth, but the flower must be included somewhere in the image.

Lastly, his prosthetic eye and leg are part of Othello's design and are intentional. If you want to stylize his design, that is allowed, but the prosthetics must be included.

Prizes:

The three winners will each have an OC of their choice included in the Two Quarters fic as background characters, with the 1st place winner's OC having a more influential role in the story. After I choose the winners, I will DM you on Tumblr to ask for OC details if you wish.

Questions about Othello, Two Quarters, and this DTIYS are welcome and encouraged. Feel free to fill my inbox with asks; I will do my best to answer them.

Two Quarters Make A Half

Their twin senses are very much active. They have no idea who each other are.

Leonardo O'Neil has always known that he's... different. His sister April assures him that he's just special, but it's hard to accept when you can't show your face in daylight. It doesn't help that when he dreams, he's looking through someone else's eyes.

Techno Tello is the technological genius of the Brooklyn Blades, a small gang who don't care what he looks like and accept him for who he is. Life is hard, but he loves his job. Even if he can't shake the feeling that something is wrong; that he lost something.

Mikey Hamato has no clue that he has two missing brothers. He just knows that his older brother has talks with their father when they think Mikey is asleep. He just knows that something is missing; something that was lost when he was very young.

Raphael Hamato knows that two of his three baby brothers are dead. Two baby brothers that he was supposed to protect with his life. His father tells him that it wasn't his fault, but Raph knows it can't be anyone's fault but his own.

What happens when Leo runs into an orange turtle putting up graffiti in the alley outside his window?

What happens when he finds out he has a family waiting for him and his missing twin to come home?

What happens then?
