#wanted: black belted fishman (Jinbe)
Text
Just a little change to the tag dump:
Tumblr media
Let’s save time and combine the threads under one hashtag because it really doesn’t matter (at least for the mun) whether the threads are canon or non canon or pure randomness.  So, from now
#Pirate tales (non-canon) and #stories waiting to be told (crack/non-canon) will be combined under the new tag:  #pirate tales waiting to be told (threads)
 #what’s that? sounds like fun !“ (meme/ask)->  #what’s that? sounds like fun~!“ (dashboard games and memes)
#shishishi ! (meme/ask reply) ->  #shishishi! (askbox  answers)
black belted fishman (Jinbe)->  #wanted: black belted fishman (Jinbe)

Luffy, if you had a chance to speak to Ace just one last time, even if it was his spirit, what would you say to him?
If the sworn brothers would have met right away the tragedy,  Luffy would’ve fallen on his knees and apologize to his brother how weak he was. The regret was something that bothered the Straw Hat captain a lot and it brought him down to depths until Jinbe came to the rescue.
The black belted Fishman was the one who taught an important lesson about life and helped the rubber man to overcome his brother’s death. Nowadays Luffy values this lesson with the fullest  and doesn’t blame himself for what happened back then anymore.
Sometimes he thinks about his big brother warmly. If they‘d met, he wouldn’t probably have words planned to be said. First, he would tell that Sabo is alive. Then their reunion would probably focus on reminiscing their time together and sharing stories about their adventures.
Perhaps if there would be a chance to tell, Luffy would humbly thank Ace for protecting him and tell that there is nothing to worry about and that he’ll do anything to achieve his goals, just like his brother did.
Tumblr media
Just like Sabo, he wants to continue Ace’s legacy, live without regrets, and reach for his dreams.
