If you stick with Altered Carbon you won’t regret it, it really picks up later on and everything you were confused about early on all connects together. It’s a really good plot that isn’t predictable. Another great one is Sense8. It’s honestly amazing, but I might be bias as it is the show I lost my Netflix virginity to. It’s this amazing blend of connectivity and also embracing your individualism that I haven’t seen replicated anywhere else. Fair warning that it’s an international cast so (1/2)
(2/2) there are some subtitles to deal with. But all of the actors speak English well so it does flip flop. There are two seasons and an extra special to wrap it all up. Another great show is Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency. It’s got 2 seasons as well, but season 1 is the better of the two in my opinion. It’s based on a book written by Douglas Adams, so if you like The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy this will be right up your alley. Enjoy!
i don’t mind subtitles!! but i have seen sense8 and i'm not sure ill stick with altered carbon... i don’t really like the season 1 cast at all. i don’t know why but something about the lead actor annoys the crap out of me. thank you soooooo much for the suggestions!!
