Empowering Elderly Independence: TRAPE's Vision
TRAPE's Vision for Well-being Design
Based in Osaka City, TRAPE Co., Ltd. envisions "creating a daily life full of wonderful roles" that unlocks new possibilities for individuals, organizations, and regions through well-being design, providing valuable services to society.
Supporting Municipalities for Independent Living
In 2022, TRAPE collaborated on the Ministry of Health, Labor, and Welfare's "Survey and Research Related to Support Packages for Municipal Elderly Care."
The outcome was the creation of the "Community Development Support Handbook vol.1.0," adopted as a municipal support advisor dispatch project for nursing care prevention in Okayama Prefecture.
Working alongside local municipalities, the project aims to facilitate "community development," empowering the elderly to live independently.
TRAPE's Seven-Year Journey
This year marks the seventh year since TRAPE commenced its long-term care prevention and daily life support comprehensive project. Evolving needs and challenges of the elderly due to demographic shifts and diverse values necessitate flexible and dynamic regional support projects.
Addressing Municipal Concerns
Municipalities expressed concerns about navigating the collaborative processes required for effective regional support initiatives. With personnel changes, municipal representatives faced uncertainties in implementing these projects, leading to a sense of helplessness.
Paving the Way for Autonomous Care Prevention
To address these challenges, Okayama Prefecture is joining forces with municipalities to design and co-create a concrete community development plan, fostering independent living for the elderly. The project encompasses an escort support business model.
The 2023 Municipal Support Advisor Dispatch Project
The project aims to promote "community development" where the elderly can live independently, enhancing existing preventive care efforts in municipalities. Expert advice and support will address local issues, fostering a comprehensive approach to projects.
Objectives of the Project
Leveraging expertise in regional development, care prevention, and escort support, TRAPE seeks to instill new awareness and successful experiences in municipalities. The goal is to empower autonomous care prevention initiatives and support human resource development.
Enabling Future Initiatives
TRAPE will provide continuous "line" support to model municipalities through visits, meetings, and follow-ups. Over time, the experiences of model municipalities will be shared across the prefecture, promoting normative integration and dissemination through training.
