ranpo takes a look at chuuya and lights up, immediately calling “dibs on fancy hat!!!” i feel like letting ranpo having partner-reach access to the equivalent of a bulldozer would thrill him immensely—how do you think their partnership would go?

Ranpo takes one look at Chuuya and goes "this one's my favorite" asfgjk. Bonus points if he gets to slightly piss off Dazai in the process.

Honestly Ranpo and Chuuya would be like, a whole trip, cause Ranpo has more than Dazai's genius and none of the baggage that comes with it. His main problem is severe impostor syndrome, he needs praise contantly, and yet acts like an arrogant jerk most of the time. I don't doubt that attitude would piss Chuuya right off, up until he realizes Ranpo is just. A really insecure person.
