I think your collection is incredible because all the Warrant albums with Jani on CD are my dream haha.This year I bought two albums with Jani on vinyl and it was quite expensive (about 50€ per record) since it is a limited edition.

I hope you can find something suitable in this store! Wow the Joan Jett song is a really interesting choice! It has some interesting slides and I did a cover with ghost notes that sounds pretty cool. And I’m sure your performance is even more beautiful.

i did dress like paul it was so fun & i loved when they played war machine & shandi! it was such a good show

oh yea those limited records will get ya. i got the limited coloured pressings of each of the warrant albums that they made (drfsr, cherry pie, dog eat dog, greatest and latest) and they each cost me about $60-80 so it was a lot! except cherry pie which was about $200 before shipping bc that was the signed one. it was worth it though bc i think they only press 2500 of each record!

the joan jett song was pretty fun! i think my school changed the arrangement because they made the bass have the solo instead of the guitars which was good for me but then i listened to the original song and i was like hey... this sounds different...

and yea! i can definitely show you some of the stuff in my collection! the patches are all sewn onto my vest so i can show you the whole vest, but all the picks n stuff i keep safe and stored away so i'll grab pics of those as well

i knowww if i had a time machine i'd set it to 1986 sunset strip start with poison and their first album and just go from there following tours and meeting bands, collecting original merch y'know?

the good thing is i only have to work until 3:30 on christmas eve so i can get a good afternoon's rest before christmas day! i'm working boxing day as well but at least i get public holiday pay for that

i actually started out my glam listening with bon jovi last year! my favourite songs are i'll be there for you, have a nice day, i wanna be loved, wanted dead or alive, bad medicine, it's my life, and also jon's solo song billy get your guns

i still need to listen to some more skid row stuff but rn my favourites are in a darkened room (i'm a sucker for a good power ballad), here i am, get the fuck out, 18 and life, and rattlesnake shake

if i had more free time (which i will hopefully be getting in the new year) i'd restart guitar lessons! hopefully i'll be able to do this in the new year once we (crossed fingers) get a new team member for our store so we all don't have to overwork ourselves as much

i don't really cook just because i'm not rly a foodie or anything but kfc chicken nuggets are a comfort food for me :)

I don't know if you already have answered this question but what are your headcannons for what LaCroix is like when he is in a relationship?

I don't think I've gotten one for LaCroix bar his hc ask! Just our little meow meow... left in the sun for too long he's started to curdle...

Like the Nines one, I only really think of relationship stuff for LaCroix in the lens of him in a ship w/Nines lmao, but have tried to keep this vague!

Would offer to take them to a suit or dress fitting, yes to getting them a Nice set of clothes to make them feel and look good, but also for white collar events where he can be smug when they outshine other attendees, because He helped them flourish.

In that same vein - would also try and get them nice little things, maybe self care items like expensive hair care products, jewellery, electronics. Half showing he has Wealth and Power in an attempt to impression, but also he wants to Provide yknow? Remnants of his upbringing perhaps.

Feel like he'd go through moments of intense dedication and then distance, both because of his age + low humanity induced emotional numbness, but also his own issues with commitment and the Thought of someone knowing him deep enough to love him can be so unnerving he needs to step back for a moment, needs therapy to unpack that. Vulnerability and gentleness so deeply ingrained into him to be seen as a weakness that LaCroix struggles to extricate the love from the guilt.

By god someone hold this little man he is so starved of physical and emotional affection. Thinks someone is proposing marriage to him when they like. brush their fingers through his hair. poor thing.

Very protective of and snappish for his s/o, especially in the company of other Camarilla kindred. Is so used to having people talk down at him, and expects them to also disparage his choice in partner, so is very defensive of both his relationship, as well as his partner’s qualities/flaws. Thinks he has to justify why he cares for them and why he shows affection towards them in public.

When he does eventually get over that initial stopping block and internalised embarrassment of showing affection (cringe), I like to think LaCroix shows a lot of little gestures of physical affection - a hand brushing some imaginary lint of his partner’s clothes as an excuse to touch them, cupping their face for a moment, brushing his fingers against their wrist; very Victorian of him.

LaCroix doesn’t (really actually does) show it but Man!! this dude wants some compliments! wants some praise and encouragement!! perhaps some damn respect!! A little nod of approval and he’s glowing.

Would enjoy dancing with his partner to slow music, reading beside them, bitch about assorted underlings to them over glasses of blood, whinge about whatever slight has happened to him that night; just the small things lmao

Has a vintage gramophone and collects old vinyls, some are first recordings of songs that never left France from the 19th century. Needs a reminder of home every now and again, and maybe even shares this with his partner after a while.

Can be such a bitch and would like someone to be a bitch BACK. Psychic battles are a requirement in a LaCroix relationship, he needs the enrichment of a good, fun spat.

Deep down I think he wants someone to take care of him, even for a little bit. Sometimes it gets too cold and his joints ache in the memory of the march on Russia. It makes moving painful. The thought of having someone to just hold him through this is something LaCroix’s had for a long time.

Has moments where he overthinks like. getting a gift, or even his partner’s displays of affection, thinking either they’re moving too fast, or he’s being tricked into thinking they like him and are just using him for their own gain. Not a fun time when the paranoia starts to win over and scheming happens. More often than not I like to think maybe the Sheriff might occasionally interject, or LaCroix actually like. talks to his partner, gauge things in a more subtle line of questioning. Or he has something of a breakdown and shuts himself off from them and ghosts them until they leave him be and he’s back to being alone and miserable and wishing someone might find it in themselves to tolerate him long enough to love him <3

Hey guys! I’m having some issues with my psych keeping on top of my refills so I haven’t been feeling too social the past few weeks, I’m hanging in there though! The animals are all doing great, just haven’t been up to taking a ton of pics or talking about them frequently. I’m hoping to be able to transition the 2021 breeding snakes to brumation around the first week of December as long as the weather cooperates. Just as a reminder I’m going to have 1 corn snake pairing, 4-5 western hognose pairings (in a perfect world anyway lol) and 2-3 leopard gecko pairings. I scaled back my plans a little bit for 2021 just because of covid which is affecting pretty much everything unfortunately. It has encouraged me to be a little more self-sufficient when it comes to breeding my own (invert) feeders though since they can be difficult and expensive to source quickly now.

Expo plans- (BIG disclaimer being this is contingent on covid remaining stable here- it’s not severe here at the moment and Repticon has proticols in place that were followed strictly at the last show I worked in August but it’s going to depend heavily on what happens after thanksgiving..) Now that that is out of the way, I will be working the Charlotte / Concord Repticon December 12th & 13th. I’ll have one table for animals (2020 western hognoses, 1x 2020 corn snake, and sub adult and adult leos)- price wise they’re going to range around $40-$500 so a good range and selection, albeit fairly small since I have sold most by this point from 2020. No isopods at this show, I need to let my colonies replenish. My other table will be all art. I will be debuting the 2 posters I teased earlier (they’re still not here yet and I will post pics and prices as soon as they arrive!) and I have some more 8x8 print designs joining the lineup. I’m unsure how many vinyl stickers / decals I’ll have, I definitely need to get started making some new ones but I need to check my vinyl stock before making immediate plans. It’s too late to get more vinyl for this show but I am looking forward to offering the stickers online soon as well. I am not planning on shipping anymore until the spring so any animals that are not sold will be staying here after the show until shipping weather returns. I can offer them for (paid) holds though if anyone has interest in them.

My art commissions will close for December (and I will hopefully be finishing up all November comms by the first week of December) so I can focus on some personal projects I’m looking to launch in 2021, including my first Kickstarter campaign for the first planned set of enamel pins which will hopefully become a series of pin sets if it goes well.

I’ll also get started on a blog post for my thoughts on how 2020 went (REPTILE WISE lol, the year majorly sucked in general for me like most of EVERYONE else in the world lmao) and my plans going forward for Sunfish Exotics and my life plans in general. I really need some clarity and writing always helps me with that. I also really need a new pen tablet and I think I’m going to go for a cintiq (I’ve never had a pen display before and I think it’s time) and focus on updating and improving my art equipment (printers, etc)

My cage building projects are moving along, a bit slower than I hoped but I’m going to be working on the turtle build first before buying the lumber for the new cage stacks. Since my AP cages (well, hatchling racks) finally arrived I will be selling some old caging soon which will help fund the lumber and acrylic bill. I already have all the supplies bought for the turtle build which is why I’ve been working on that off and on.

Anyway~

Hope y’all are doing well or at the very least coping! Life is tough but we got this 🙌

I’ll try to be more active soon but I gotta get my meds straightened out first!
