it’s the way hen went through the traumatic event of seeing chim almost die (actually die technically???) right in front of her and came to his hospital room and told him how important he was to her and how she couldn’t live without him and chimney promising her she wouldn’t have to because they’re best friends and ride or dies and “you jump, i jump”

versus the way buck went through the traumatic event of seeing eddie almost die right in front of him and how he admitted he broke down but only in relation to christopher and eddie revealed how important buck was to him but still under the guise of christopher and how it’s been a year and they still can’t talk about it because to do so would require them to finally put words to how much they need each other and that’s never been something they’ve been able to say out loud
