Headcanon: Sanguinius has an aviary filled with birds from planets he brought to compliance, and a personal one in his study with doves. When he died, the doves went to Amit and the Flesh Tearers. Gabriel Seth has a mutated pigeon, and Dante has had a long line of lovebirds

Fun fact: I am a huge, gigantic, ENORMOUS bird fan. This headcanon is impecable, so I will only add to it with some quality Bird Pictures:

Gabriel Seth has a mother fucking Modena, because those pigeons WILL draw blood and want you dead, personally.
