I just tried to explain the situation and why I think it's all quite funny to my non-witchy and very skeptical husband. Failed miserably.
Maybe that article with the memes might help.
I’m over it and think it’s funny at this point. laughter dispells bullshit for me.

In spite of a horrific headcold wandering down into my chest and a bit too much "help" from my kitten I've finally finished quilting and binding this lapquilt. Some of you may have seen this "Procrasti-quilt" already in the WIP section. I started it in May out of frustration with my super chaotic studio and an inability to clean up. So I made this top instead.  😄
Some close-ups of the stitching, cause it's kinda my favorite part.

And back and label.
All handpieced, handstitched, handbound. Lightweight cotton batting, so it's probably a nice quilt for summer evenings.  I'm happy with the way the bright yellow binding makes it all pop so nicely.

Political witchcraft? Or Witchcraft for Resistance?
I do have several books on politics and witchcraft. Maybe I should go with Witchcraft and Politics as one and another as History and Culture?

Just noticed that i haven't yet posted any of the quilt that I completed for my sister and her family while in South Africa. So here are some impressions of front and back. Almost all fabrics are reused materials, all handstitched and hand quilted.
Images: a quilt of orange and some red circles against an indigo and white striped fabric being held up. Second image of the back with large squares of patterns with yellow, blue and red around a center bright red square.

Quilttop done. I'm going to put it aside for a while as I finish or work on other things. My take on the snowball quilt workshop in Zak Foster's Quilting Nook with some swirls that i discovered in Grace Rother's newsletter. Visiting cat for size reference. All fabrics repurposed. The blue is an indigo sheet my father gave me after he managed to rip through half of it after years of using it folded up as an exercise mat. Which is also why it was faded in parts and not in others. The orange is a bed sheet that we had when I was a child and my mother recently cleaned out of her closet. All hand sewn.

Leaves are coming along... first extended foray into needlepoint applique. Older quilt peaking out from underneath for warmth. 😄

Changed my backdrop to better see the patterns. Anyone else find it easier to access the design via the photo than looking at the live thing? Maybe it's the flattening aspect that helps me. Anyhow, it allows me to take you along for the ride.
ID: meandering forms made of quarter circles curve across what will be a quilt top. The spaces between the floral, pastel pieces are an off-white neutral color.
