remembering to do my morning mental health post is really helpful?

like, I sat down to type: did pages, took meds, short walk with dog, ADULTING EMAILS WITH PTA WHOO

but then would have had to include: haven’t made my bed

so I got up first and made my bed and then came back here to post

(I am on the STEM committee! I am actually responding to the STEM committee! And made helpful suggestions! And have committed myself to cold-contacting someone to see if they’ll help/donate BUT IT’S THE LOCAL GAMING STORE so I think I can handle that. Whee? +10 Adulting)

ALSO got the taxes submitted yesterday and have received “forms have been accepted” emails for both federal and state so double yay! Yesterday also gets a +10 Adulting. 

Am currently looking up STEM classes at the local community college too to see if they have nifty fliers or something. 

I mean, it is somehow already 10 o’clock but whatever. STUFF HAS HAPPENED, that’s better than my usual 10 o’clock

/I do quite desperately need some tea or more coffee tho, brb

Hello!

Yeah, I didn't forget to post last night.  I had some crazy house issues!  Let me tell you about my day yesterday and then we'll get to today, okay?  Well, I got in a good walk yesterday.  I came home and did some things around the house.  I decided to take a hot bath since I hadn't had a good soak in a while.  This was the start of my misery! Lol . The bath itself was lovely.  I got out and went to do other things. I went back and noticed that the tub hadn't drained any.  Also, my faucet leaks so it wasn't draining and the faucet was just making things worse!  I took a bucket and got out as much water as I could and then put a towel down to catch the rest.  I put a bucket in to catch the drips and then went to do something else.  I come back and the drip isn't all going into the bucket and the tub is starting to get water again.  UGH!  I was in there plunging like nobody's business! LOL!  I worked on it so long I was sweating and getting more frustrated. My friend texted me and I gave a terse, "ok" reply.  He asked if anything was wrong. I told him what was going on and that I was just frustrated.  He offered to come and try to fix it.  I didn't want him to since it was already after 11pm and he works early in the mornings.  He came anyway! He was able to get it to drain. YAY!  By the time he did that and left, it was after midnight!   I had been working on NaNo before all the water issues happened and didn't get to finish.  I had the lowest word count I've had since I started.  I only had 1525 words last night.  I updated my count at NaNo and just decided that since I've been going over every day, that wasn't going to hurt.  I was right as I wrote 2358 tonight! Whoo!  I have now hit 16,000 words! WHEE!  I happened to notice that the Pizza Hut site had a deal on a large two topping pizza.  Guess what I had for dinner?  I had my NaNo pizza after all! I had already hit my goal of 10,000.  I have to hit that before I treat myself to the pizza.  I shouldn't have gotten it, but it was a lot cheaper than I was expecting so I got it! It was delicious and I have leftovers for tomorrow! So, I had to run an errand to Target right before my writing session tonight. I went to the Starbucks in there and asked if they honored the happy hour special that the regular Starbucks did.  They do, so I got my grande Cascara latte. Half price Starbucks? I'm there!  I also got several of the holiday gift cards to add to my collection AND a cup.  I had the red cup and green cup already. I wanted the white cup with the green leaves and red coffee cherries on it.  The cup I got wasn't that one and I mentioned to the Barista that I'd been hoping for the other one.  She gave me one. ^___^ So, I got my errands done, got some new cards for my collection and got the cup I wanted to add to my collection. :) I did walk today too.  I have done my French lesson too.  The new colors and banner have been up for a few days here on the blog. I'm still not sure if I love them yet. LOL . I don't hate them, so that is good. I guess they'll stay for a bit.  Of course, knowing me, I might change them tomorrow!
