A3! Chikage Mini Talk Translation “Moon Traveler”
The director and Chikage get to know each other better
Tumblr media
Mini Talk 1
Tumblr media
Chikage
Starring as a lead actor again since the 4th performance… it’s been a while and there’s some pressure, but I’ll be doing my best, of course.
Although the full bloom performance was also set in space, the whole vibe of this story is completely different and interesting.
I hope we can make it like fantasy play that’s typical of Spring troupe.
First thing to do is get a grip on the whole character of Roberto first. That would mean getting creative with the role, too…
I’ve been reading books, and watching movies that might be useful. I might look into the moon once again.
Mini Talk 2
Tumblr media
Chikage
Misumi and Tsumugi view the moon together every now and then.
They sometimes watch it while eating sweets and exchanging stories and legends about the moon.
There are many moon-themed works in the world. In Japan, “The Tale of Taketori” is famous, and there are many classic waka poems about the moon.
Perhaps it is because of the fact that looking at the moon reminds us of many things, that various legends and works of art are born.
…What makes me say that?
Because that’s how it makes me feel.
…Kidding.
Mini Talk 3
Tumblr media
Chikage
I got interviewed by Tsuzuru and he asked me a lot of questions regarding the Spring troupe.
That is to say, to get to know more about the others…
I thought that knowing about others was all for nothing.
Before I knew it, I ended up enjoying listening about and getting to know the people in Spring troupe and the rest of the troupe.
And of course, Director-san as well.
… Do you want to get to know me better too?
Okay, then lend me your ear…
Tumblr media
…I prefer rice to naan when it comes to curry.
Oh, that wasn’t what you were expecting?
Well, you don’t need to be in such a hurry to know more. We’re going to be together for a long time after all, yes?

I saw your requests were open so I 🥺👉🏼👈🏼 I’m not sure if you do Guy but if you do, maybe a scenario where the reader is dancing under the rain and having fun but Guy is worried for their health and is trying to coax them back in but the reader manages to pull Guy with them and start dancing together. I personally think Guy wouldn’t understand the concept or the appeal of dancing under the rain until he sees you and is dancing with you and just goes “oh” yknow 😔✊🏼 if you don’t do Guy or aren’t comfortable enough yet you could replace him with Juza/Tasuku
THIS REQUEST WAS EVERYTHING. I've wanted to write Guy for a while so this was absolutely wholesome to do, thank you Ever!
Hope you all enjoy it 💕
One soulful moment it's all it takes (Guy x Reader)
People say monotony kills the heart. Ironically, monotony is what also keeps the heart working.
It wasn’t that Guy enjoyed it per se, it's just that it was proven things got done quicker when you set up a system. It was more productive. More efficient. Waking up early every morning to practice karate was good to improve his health. Making and drinking tea also helped. Going fishing or taking care of Tsukioka’s garden had also become part of what he got used to when he started living in Mankai among other activities.
The only variant he could never seem to grasp was you.
“You should go out more!”
"I believe we are already outside."
"No- I mean, to play around, you know? Enjoy life! Nothing like a good bruise on your leg to remind you that you have a leg."
You always picked on him based on the consistency of his routines, on the rigidness of his answers. And while sometimes Guy had to admit he didn’t quite grasp the full meaning of what you said, he found you captivating, intriguing even.
Everyone around always seemed to have a smile next to you after all, and as you two got closer, Guy found himself wishing he could be half as carefree and adventurous as you.
“Come on!” You made him eat some of the food you had ordered- even though his own plate was more than enough for one person’s fill. “I can’t believe this is not making you smile. If you are not excited when you eat, you are doing something wrong.”
You always loved to try new things, which was why whenever you would suddenly appear at Mankai you would try and drag him all over Veludo. Openminded experiences, you liked to call them. It was also how Guy had gotten used to asking for places others recommended, such as the cat’s café, Veludo main acting street, or this new curry restaurant director and Usui had seemed to enjoy so much lately.
As you finished your meals and paid, you both stepped outside while making light talk. “Ah… that was spicy but delicious! Not Omi’s level though. I’ve only eaten snacks from him but I bet all his food tastes just as good. You guys are lucky.”
“Yes. He is one skilled young man even among other Zahran’s royal court's chefs I know. I have no doubt anyone that would try his cooking would think so as well.”
“Right? Anyway, I didn’t know you could handle spices so well,” you patted his arm happily. Those plates had been no joke, Chikage and Izumi were monsters. “I mean, you finished it all! I believed this was the time I was gonna see you making weird faces."
"Do you want me to?"
"No! I was joking Guy. You always take me too seriously I swear," you laughed as you both left the shopping district.
The winter member nodded, taking a mental note once again. From his early childhood memories he had always been told to be careful about everything, and was made to follow the path everyone told him to. And though there were times when he wanted to step out of the beaten path, he hadn't been much of a rebel- until Citronia left, that is. He would easily put those thoughts aside and go on doing whatever he was supposed to do.
All of a sudden a few drops fell, snapping him back in the present and made him blink surprised at the sky at the unexpected wet contact. He had seen the weathercast that morning over breakfast and it hadn’t said anything about raining.
“We should look for shelter before it becomes heavier.”
“Uh? What are you talking about?”
Guy stopped walking and met your questioning eyes, as if you truly didn’t understand what he had said. People around you both began passing by jogging with jackets, briefcases, or whatever object they might have in hand acting as umbrellas, and for a second he didn’t know how to explain it more clear. “The rain. We will get wet otherwise.”
There was a sound of thunder in the distance, which made people speed up their walking pace. Not you though.
“I know." you shrugged. "Still can’t see the problem.”
As the raindrops started to make their way through you, causing you to get wet, you stepped away from him, welcoming the cool drink from the clouds.
“Y/N? Where are you going?” he called out to you when you started moving around in circles.
The unaware worry tinted in his expression resonated in your mind. In time, you were able to control yourself enough to let out a snort of a laugh. "Nowhere. I'm dancing silly!" you replied, your voice high with joy and arms open up in the sky. "The rain feels good. I love to walk and dance in it. Don’t tell me you’ve never done this."
“But you will get sick.”
“Oh come on, healing rain is real!”
“Is that so.”
“Yeah! It can be physical healing or emotional or whatever you want it to.” You smiled. Your movements were rusty under the slow and endless drizzle, making jumpings and turns here and there. “It washes your sins away.”
Guy kept staring not entirely convinced. As much as he saw you enjoying yourself moving around in the rain, he had seen Tsukioka and a few other members from Mankai get sick just from running under in the rain on their way back home and all in all, he still didn't fully understand the point of what you were doing.
“It doesn’t seem very conclusive.” He looked around, trying to look for any shop that might sell umbrellas. Without any result he turned to you once again, rain getting heavier as you two talked. “If you wish to feel water running under you a shower could work as well, although I admit the space is considerably different if you decided to dance.”
“Oh for the love of-" you ran up to him, grabbing his elbow and forcing him to come out of the somewhat safe roof he had been guarding himself against since you had left him laughing. “Just come here. Now close your eyes and enjoy the music!”
He followed your instructions and stayed in silence for a few seconds, then he opened them. “There’s no music Y/N.”
“Of course there is! Try closing them again and pay attention.”
He followed your suggestion once again.
All was silent as before- All silent save the dripping rain. Then, as the breathful afternoon melted slowly and the cold caress of fresh air lapped up, Guy started to feel the drops around him. And while they were not synchronized, they created a sound worth listening to.
As you had indicated, he tried to let go of his inhibitions, allowing the rain to wash away the thoughts that had been roaming on his mind After a while he opened his eyes slightly, confused at the sudden feeling emerging within him. It was also when he found you still there, not having moved yet, smiling brightly -as the now hidden sun in front of him.
Ah. He didn’t know exactly why or how it had happened, but the connection between you was different from anything he had felt before.
“…I believe I am now listening to the music you spoke of.”
Sometimes one finds joy in the small and simple things. It could be the scent of the rain, the taste of your favorite food... others, it was the sound of a loved one's voice.
“What do you think Guy?”
He never wanted anything so much than to drown in your love and feel the rain, however his eyes trailer over you, before silently stepping back instead. The sudden action made you tilt your head confused. You knew Zahfra wasn't that much of a humid place so it would make sense he might not be as comfortable as it was for other people to stand in the middle of the rain.
“Guy-”
“Y/N-"
You chuckled at how you both said each other names so suddenly. Just like in the movies. “You go first.”
He stared gaze at your figure for a second, before offering his right hand. Rain kept falling under you, no one else in sight. Just you, Guy, and the sound of rain.
“May I have this dance?”
As if it was possible, your eyes lighted up brighter than they had on the whole day, which surprised Guy to an extent. With a beaming smile you nodded, and so he took a step towards you. He wrapped his hands around you and pulled you slightly closer. The thunderbolts made your body shiver while you wrapped your arms around his neck. He could feel your every breath, and with every breath, your own heartbeats pumped faster.
A good lead should be soft yet subtle, stating their intentions by moving themselves, inviting their partners to follow along. Guy was alert, eyes scanning the surroundings ahead of him, watching traffic, other people, but also aware of what was happening right in his arms.
He treated your follow with respect, never forcing any movement. If he led a step or a pattern and you interpreted the movement differently than he had intended, he adapted to you rather than forcing change. He wanted to give you a sense of security, knowing you could fully depend on his lead the way he had learned to dance, however after a few clumsy fails followed by your laugh, he soon discovered it didn't matter how you both danced, just that you did.
“I think you know me better than I know myself.” He broke the silence after a while. You smiled.
“I’m not going to deny that.”
“I wish I could repay you for that, somehow.”
Laughing again you adjusted yourself so you could look up at him. His astonishingly beautiful green orbs finding yours once again, filled with overwhelming love and safety. “You are doing it right now.”
The corner of his eyes softened.
There were many things he had tried to chase away. Things he couldn’t remember, and others he didn’t let himself think about. Right now he was living, and nothing else seemed to matter anymore. He allowed you to take him anywhere you pleased on that made-up dance floor under the rain. You went right, he went right. You sped up, he sped up. Having you there, next to him like this, made him think about just how lucky he had become.
“…You are beautiful,” he whispered, touching your cheek with care, clearing the strands of wet hair that had gotten in the way.
You held on to him tighter.
“You are beautiful too.” You smiled, noses touching. Rain still falling over you both. “Didn't I tell you? That dancing in the rain deserved getting a cold.”

Hey! In honor or spooky season and my recent haunted world trip, may I have the A3! Boys (any assortment up to you) reactions to a s/o whos terrified before going into the haunted house like completely horrified but then once they go in the S/O isn't afraid of anything? I found out recently that anticipation absolutely kills me, but like a actual good spooks from a quality haunted house does little to nothing to scare me lol.
Hello there! Thank you for requesting 💖 I never heard of a haunted world trip, but it sounds interesting! However, I’m easily scared so R.I.P. Anyway, I hope you’ll enjoy reading this 🥰
Advanced happy Halloween, everyone!
Characters: A3!ders (Sakuya, Tenma, Banri, Tsumugi)
You agreed to do this, but why did your feet stay in place?
Your knees trembled; your palms excessively sweat as you stared at the haunted house towering over you. Cobwebs and tattered strips of white cloths covered the humungous house. With its dark colors, it certainly brought a sense of fear. But what made you hold back was those monsters. Their arms are outstretched; their hands are in a form of claws that can mar you once in range. Some of them have their limbs mangled, scattered even. They gave you this eeriness that resulted to your arms’ hair standing.
If those horrifying things were out there, then what could be inside?
Tumblr media
When Sakuya noticed your trembling state, he internally panicked. What should he do? Should he hug you? Kiss your forehead? Hold your hand? His forehead creased. Sakuya was almost clueless on how to soothe someone; he knew that he wasn’t reliable especially in these kinds of situations. And admittedly, he was also afraid at haunted houses, but not as much as a certain orange-haired man.
Despite those factors, Sakuya searched deep in his memories. As he played them one by one in his mind, his worry grew more. One, you were still trembling badly. And two, he still couldn’t find a worthwhile solution. All he did was earnestly reach out to the person, just like what he did with Chikage. Then the outcome naturally became good
Wait. That's it. That was his way, and, he thinks, the best help he could offer to you.
“(First Name).” Your boyfriend’s voice made you look up at him.
“I may not look reliable, but… I’m here for you.” Then he suddenly bowed. “Please let me protect you!”
“Sakuya! People are staring!” True enough, some people near you were whispering. Who knows what rumors will be created the longer he bowed?
He quickly stood up at that. “I’m sorry!”
You sighed. He made the situation so dramatic. You guessed this was one of the effects of being an actor. But then you smiled. Your boyfriend’s gesture was so like him, which was earnest and touching. It always warmed your heart, even now. Yes, the fear still lingered, though he gave you a hand to hold on to gain some courage.
You gently clasped his hand. With a smile, you said to him, "But thank you, Sakuya. I'll hold onto that.”
When both of you stepped into the house, you noticed it still had those cobwebs, mangled limbs, and teared sheets. But the only light coming from the small lanterns made the place eerie. You felt your heart race. You were uncertain what feeling was this.
At the corner of your eye, you noticed a spare lantern at the corner of the room. You were about to grab that lantern, then suddenly, a bloodied ghost jumped in front of you.
“(F-First Name), stay back!" Despite his pounding heart, your boyfriend stood in front of you.
You blinked. You didn’t feel anything at all when that ghost jumped in front of you. You didn’t even flinch.
You lightly shoved your boyfriend to the side. “It’s not scary, so you don’t need to do that.”
“Eh!” Sakuya couldn’t believe your words. It’s not because he doubted your courage, but it was because you were horrified before entering this house. Your recovery, if you would call it like that, was too quick for him.
You patted his shoulder. “What caught me out there was excitement, so no need to worry.”
Sakuya didn’t immediately respond. You felt guilt creeping into your heart. You made him worry so much for nothing.
You casted down your gaze on the floor. "I'm sorry."
Your boyfriend snapped out of his trance and shook his head. "It's fine. What matters is that you're alright now!"
He might’ve not done much, but Sakuya was relieved to find out that you weren’t afraid at all. Hence, the couple continued their journey despite the mahogany-haired boy flinching here and there.
Tumblr media
When Tenma noticed that both of you weren’t moving at all, he patted your shoulder. “(First Name), why aren’t you moving?”
“Huh?” You said.
Tenma noticed the tremble in your voice, which made his eyes filled with concern. Based from your reaction, you were frightened to enter this haunted house. He wanted to relieve you in some way, but what was he supposed to do? He wasn’t the best person to seek for comfort, especially he worked for years in a field wherein criticisms were everywhere. However, acting taught him one thing – putting yourself in one’s shoes. Rather, both of you were wearing the same shoes. It’s just that, he controlled his nerves like a professional actor that he was. Nevertheless, Tenma completely understood your fear. Who knows what surprises and jump scares were waiting inside that wretched house?
“You do know that you don’t need to push yourself, right?” Your boyfriend said.
You gripped his arm. “I know, but this is the last stop.”
“We really don’t need to finish all of these.”
“Yeah, but-”
“No ‘buts.’” You pouted at that, which made him blush. Then he faced forward, pulling you away from that (horrid) house.
As your boyfriend dragged you farther to the haunted house, you looked back. It still appeared terrifying and humongous from afar. However, the fact that that was the only place you never tried in this trip didn’t sit well with you.
You tugged at Tenma’s arm. Tenma furrowed his eyebrows. “What’s wrong?”
“Let’s go back.”
Tenma’s face paled. He put his hands on your shoulder almost too tightly. “Are you sure? We can really go to another venue.”
“It’s the last stop. And besides, it’s the perfect hiding spot for a celebrity,” you said.
“What's that kind of reason!”
“I'm just trying to protect you from the paparazzi." Then you sighed. "But I guess you’re more afraid than me.”
At the mention of ‘afraid,’ Tenma violently reacted. “Of course not! Why would I be afraid?” Without waiting for your response, he grabbed your hand and pulled you towards the haunted house again.
When both of you stepped into the house, it still had those cobwebs, mangled limbs, and teared sheets.
“Gah!” Tenma jumped behind you, gripping your shoulders as if his life depended on them.
‘Idiot, what are you doing?’ He scolded himself. He was supposed to be protecting you, his girlfriend, not the other way around.
He was about to go in front of you and glare at that monster, but then you said, “You’re not scary at all!”
While the ghost grunted, Tenma let out a loud ‘ha?’ that almost deafened you. “Are you blind? It’s bloody, no human face, and has claws for hands!”
When Tenma realized he exposed himself, he cleared his throat. “Not that I mind. But more importantly, weren’t you scared?.”
“That was just anticipation. I realized it thanks to the ghost.” You pointed at the ghost, who slowly went back to its station near the wall.
Then you mischievously grinned. You were all too familiar with Tenma’s strong front. However, you didn’t know until now that he was easily scared. That was why you wanted to tease your boyfriend. In addition, it was a reward for yourself for discovering that you weren’t afraid of these kinds of things.
“Then we could continue, right?”
“O-of course!” Tenma’s said, his voice strained.
For once, Tenma forgot his fear at the same time his poor sense of direction. At least you got to enjoy this trip with him and you were there to (protect) lead him.
Tumblr media
Banri was about to pull you inside, but he stopped when you didn’t budge. He looked over his shoulder and was about to ask you what’s wrong, but the look on your face answered him.
Banri furrowed his eyebrows. The rides you rode in this place only made you smile and scream in glee. You weren’t even afraid when you met Sakyo for the first time (Banri knew that no horror films nor horror-themed parks can beat him). Hence, he was confused - what was terrifying of this haunted house? Everything here weren’t real monsters – they were either decorations or people in costumes. Nonetheless, he couldn’t just leave you like that. Yes, he could be a douche and prank you sometimes. However, he wasn't heartless nor stupid to ignore your fear.
He wrapped his arm around your waist, rubbing his hand on your side. “Babe, don’t freak out. You can do this, right?”
You slowly nodded. “Yeah, but I just got the chills.”
Banri hummed. “Anxiety’s killin’ you, huh?”
You nodded at that. Then suddenly, he walked towards the house, his arm making you follow his movement.
“W-wait, Banri!” You gripped his arm, trying to stop him from ushering you.
“Why would you even be afraid if you got me? ‘Sides, I can beat the shit out of ‘em.”
“It’s not their fault that they’re doing their job, Banri.”
He patted your side. “Just kiddin’.” Then his face suddenly turned serious. “But what I said first ain’t a joke.”
Your eyes widened at that. Your boyfriend can be unexpectedly affectionate, and it always caught you off guard. Before you realized, Banri pulled you inside the house.
When both of you stepped into the house, it still had those cobwebs, mangled limbs, and teared sheets. But the only light coming from the small lanterns made it the place eerie. You felt your heart race. You were uncertain what feeling was this.
At the corner of your eye, you noticed a spare lantern at the corner of the room. You were about to grab that lantern, then suddenly, a bloodied ghost jumped in front of you.
Banri instinctively put his arm in front of you. Looking over his shoulder, he said, “Babe, are you okay?”
For one moment, your face was blank. Banri was about to shake you, but then you smiled. “It’s not that scary at all!”
Banri squinted at you. Were you becoming crazy or was he becoming insane? Whatever it was, he knew your reaction before was no joke. “Weren’t you freaking out like a while ago?”
“I was not freaking out! I was just excited,” you defended.
Banri incredulously stared at you. “Really?”
You nodded. “I just didn’t realize until that ghost came.”
Banri gazed at you for a little longer before letting out a sigh. “I got worried for nothin’…”
“What?”
“It’s nothin’.” He sighed, but then he smirked. “Since you ain’t a scaredy cat, how ‘bout we have a competition?”
You sighed. “Of course, you’ll beat me.”
He pecked your cheek. “Can’t deny that.”
“Did I say I won’t try?” Then you sped off, making Banri let out a surprised ‘oi!’.
However, he did not opt to chase you. One, because he knows this haunted house was a piece of cake. And second, you were now enjoying yourself. And that’s most important.
Tumblr media
When Tsumugi saw your quivering state, it’s like an arrow pierced his heart. It pained him to see you so afraid of something. Some may say that a haunted house was not a big deal. But based from your reaction, it certainly was a big deal. He wanted to erase that fear, but if not, he should at least soothe you.
Tsumugi clasped his hand in yours, his warmth transferring to you. “We could do another thing, (First Name). Don’t force yourself.”
You looked up, and your eyes met his. You always told him before that his eyes looked like a part of the ocean filled them. Oceans may be scary, especially when their waves raged. However, they gave you a sense of calmness whenever stilled. That was your boyfriend’s eyes. Thus, you felt your fear dissipated in the ocean of Tsumugi’s tranquility.
And because of this, you shook your head. “No, we’re going in here.”
Your boyfriend frowned. “Are you sure?”
You nodded. Then you tapped your cheek. “For protection.”
Your boyfriend immediately understood, which made him blush. He wasn’t used to PDA even though you’ve been dating for months. However, if his kiss can give you comfort, then he’ll do it.
He gave you a quick peck on your cheek and quickly turned away. You didn’t miss that tinge of pink blooming on his cheeks.
“Let’s go.”
Tsumugi covered your eyes with his hand. “Don’t peek.”
He knew that you already saw the ghost. However, this was at least he can do. He didn’t want your gaze to linger further it; it may imprint itself on your mind, which he definitely doesn’t want to happen.
But then you removed his hand from your eyes, which alarmed Tsumugi. “Wait, the ghost didn’t go back-”
“I know, and I appreciate your effort. But I’m not afraid of these things.”
Tsumugi blinked. He opened his mouth, and then closed it again.
“Uh... Tsumugi?”
He rubbed his neck. “Sorry. It’s just... are you really sure you’re not afraid?”
“Yes, I’m sure! Anticipation almost killed me outside. And besides,” you tapped the spot on your cheek your boyfriend kissed. “This gives me the boost.”
Tsumugi frowned and his concerned eyes still remained. You know this look. It was the mother hen mode activating. Before he could speak, you gave him a chaste kiss.
“No nagging. Come on! I want to bust this place out!”
Tsumugi felt himself heat up. A sudden kiss in a haunted house… never mind that. What he should focus on was your sudden change. He wanted to ask numerous questions, but he can’t form the words. No, he cannot even fathom that occurrence.
Then Tsumugi saw you smiling at another ghost that popped out of nowhere. He didn’t know when, but he felt his lips curve into a smile. Well, as long as you enjoyed yourself, he was assured.

A3! Anniversary Event Translation - On the Trajectory to Full Bloom. [Winter] (4/4)
Tumblr media
*Please read disclaimer on blog; default name set as Izumi
---
<*SORRY, LONG DISCLAIMER* So I've decided to record their performance myself because the more I was working on it, the more I felt text alone just didn't do the event justice and the voice acting is SO FUNNY so it'd be nice if others could hear it too. I was hesitant to do this since it's bending the rules, so if it's a huge problem just let me know. I will not do this again; this event is an exception due to how heavily it relies on the voice acting. That being said, please don't reupload or redistribute the video--if I see it being posted anywhere else, I can and will take it down. Please just be respectful and discrete and just enjoy it, thanks~ watch it here~>
Izumi: It’s finally the real thing! It looks like the other troupes are coming to watch too.
Tasuku: That’s because we didn’t tell anyone about our original story.
Tsumugi: We dodged it even when we were asked. That’s why everyone’s curious about it, right?
Azuma: The content is the content, and I want to make everyone surprised and enjoy it too.
Tumblr media
Izumi: (Tsuzuru and I were both surprised when they told us they’d write the script themselves but—.) (If that’s the content, then I’m fine with it. Fufu, everyone’s making a face like they’re mischievous kids…)
Guy: Tsukioka, there’s just 2 more minutes until showtime.
Tsumugi: Yes. —Everyone, gather round. It’s already our 2nd anniversary… before we came here, both as individuals and as the Winter troupe, we’ve stumbled and fallen, and we’ve made detours but… Because there were those moments, the us of right now are here.
Tumblr media
Tasuku: Yeah.
Homare: Umu.
Hisoka: …Yeah.
Azuma: That’s true.
Guy: Right.
Tsumugi: I’m sure from here on as well, we may be clumsy and stumble and fall, and we’ll take the long way around many times over. But, no matter when, we’re not alone. —Well, was that a bit too pretentious?
Guy: No, there’s nothing wrong with that.
Azuma: Fufu, we’re bound by a common destiny, is that right?
Homare: Umu. In both sickness and in health—. —Haa, a poem has sprung forth! A blazing DESTINY, resonance’s AMBITIOUS…
Guy: There’s less than 10 seconds until showtime.
Hisoka: Time’s up.
Homare: What!?
Tsumugi: Fufu. Winter troupe, let’s go!
Winter troupe: Ohh!
Tumblr media
-pause-
Tumblr media
Narration: “This story is fictional. There is absolutely no connection to any real people or parties.” “…Probably.”
Tumblr media
Audience member A: Ahaha! What’s this—!
Audience member B: Is this really a Winter troupe play?
Izumi: (Alright, they’ve grabbed them perfectly with the narration!) (The stage is MANKAI Theatre’s dressing room after the Winter troupe show’s dress rehearsal finished—)
-pause-
Tasuku: “Today’s dress rehearsal went alright, huh?”
Tumblr media
Tsumugi: “It’d be great if we can perform like this for tomorrow’s opening day too.”
Guy: “That’s right.”
Hisoka: “I’m tired…Marshmallows…”
Homare: “Huh, sorry. I’ve run out.”
Azuma: “Come to think of it, Director said before that we received some snacks as a gift.”
Hisoka: “…I’ll go get some.”
Homare: “I will go too.”
Tsumugi: “I’m also a little hungry, so I guess I’ll go too.”
Izumi: (When the Winter troupe members are talking about their opening day tomorrow, The other troupe’s members will come to cheer them on one after another.)
*knock, knock*
Azuma: “Come in.”
Tasuku: “It’s open.”
Sakuya? [Hisoka]: “Please excuse me! Good job on your dress rehearsal!”
Tumblr media
Citron? [Homare]: “Good wooork.”
Itaru? [Tsumugi]: “GJ.”
-pause-
Sakuya: !?
Tumblr media
Citron: Oh—, what a soup fries*.
Tsuzuru: It’s surprise.
-pause-
Azuma: “Ahh, so you came to watch.”
Sakuya? [Hisoka]: “Yes! It was really great! I’m looking forward to the real show tomorrow!”
Citron? [Homare]: “Tomorrow will be a ghoul house**.”
Itaru? [Tsumugi]: “You actually mean a full house.”
Sakuya? [Hisoka]: “Good luck for tomorrow too!”
Guy: “Yeah, we’ll give it our all.”
-pause-
Itaru: Seriously? Tsumugi is playing… me, right?
Tumblr media
-pause-
Citron? [Homare]: “…”
Azuma: “What’s wrong, your highness?”
Citron? [Homare]: “I envy Guy. The truth is, I also want to appear in a graceful adult programme much like the Winter troupe’s.”
Tumblr media
Tasuku: “!?”
Tumblr media
Guy: “Citronia, just now that wasn’t in Zahran. Is your language setting correct?”
Tasuku: “Or rather, you could speak such fluent Japanese?”
Izumi: (Citron-kun starts to speak fluent Japanese when the Spring troupe members aren’t around—.)
Citron? [Homare]: “Who do you think I am? It’s only natural. I’m usually only talking like that as a character I’ve made.” “The Spring troupe members are fussy about our character settings.”
Tasuku: “I-is that how it was…”
Guy: “I didn’t know that.”
Citron? [Homare]: “Anyways, I’m looking forward to your opening day tomorrow as well. Please do your best.”
Tasuku: “Y-yeah.”
*leaves*
Azuma: “Fufu, so that was the real his Highness.”
Tasuku: “That guy, that reminds me, he’s royalty, huh…”
-pause-
Citron: Ohh, Homare, AMAZING!
Tumblr media
-pause-
Tsumugi: “There were various refreshments, huh?”
Homare: “Umu, we won’t be troubled about snacks for the time being.”
Tsumugi: “Huh? Where are Tasuku and Azuma-san?”
Guy: “They went to buy some drinks. What about Mikage?”
Homare: “He found a large amount of marshmallows and stopped moving.”
Tsumugi: “I don’t think he’ll return for a while.”
*door opens*
Tsuzuru? [Tasuku]: “Great job.”
Tumblr media
Chikage? [Azuma]: “Good work.”
Tsumugi: “Ah, welcome.”
Masumi? [Hisoka]: “…Where’s Director?”
Homare: “She was handing out refreshments in the aisle.”
Masumi? [Hisoka]: “Then I’m going there.”
Tumblr media
Tsuzuru? [Tasuku]: “Oi, Masumi—”
*leaves*
Guy: “Just what did Usui come here to do?”
Tsuzuru? [Tasuku]: “He was supposed to come to encourage you though, more or less.”
Chikage? [Azuma]: “He’s a consistent Director devotee.”
Tsuzuru? [Tasuku]: “Good grief.”
Tsumugi: “How was watching the dress rehearsal as an audience member?
Tsuzuru? [Tasuku]: “The result is perfect. As the person who wrote the script, I’m glad.”
Chikage? [Azuma]: “Good luck for your opening day too.”
Tsumugi: “Thank you very much.”
*leaves*
Homare: “It can’t be helped about Hisoka-kun, and Tasuku-kun and Azuma-san both haven’t returned.”
Guy: “They said they were getting drinks for everyone, So it might be taking more time than expected.”
Tsumugi: “Then, I’ll go see how it’s going.”
Homare: “I will accompany you as well.”
-pause-
Chikage: Heh, Azuma-san is me, huh?
Tumblr media
Tsuzuru: I mean… this never crossed my mind.
Masumi: …I can also do that much. If it’s for Director, then impressions are…
Tsuzuru: You don’t need to compete with them!
-pause-
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “We’re coming in.”
Tumblr media
Muku? [Hisoka]: “Excuse me.”
Misumi? [Homare]: “I brought a triangle~! Triangle, triangle~!”
Yuki? [Azuma]: “Good job—.”
Kazunari? [Tsumugi]: “Yay~! We came to cheer the Winter troupe on, yo!”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “Huh? It’s only Guy-san?”
Guy: “They’ve stepped out for a bit. Even though you came all the way here, sorry about that.”
Muku? [Hisoka]: “No! Not at all! Rather, it’s me who has bad timing who’s at fault.” “It’s because I’m a shriveled-up green onion or a dried-out carrot that’s been forgotten in the fridge…”
Yuki? [Azuma]: “No one said that though.”
Misumi? [Homare]: “Then, I’ll leave everyone’s share of triangles~!”
Kazunari? [Tsumugi]: “’Kay, make it lit for tomorrow’s opening day too~!”
Guy: “Yeah, I will tell everyone.”
Muku? [Hisoka]: “Alright then, please excuse us!”
*leaves*
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “…”
Guy: “Is something wrong?”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “No, I was just thinking I envy how Winter troupe’s dressing room is so calm.”
Guy: “Well nobody is here right now.”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “Summer troupe’s dressing room is noisy even when people aren’t there. With their triangles, and triangles, and triangles.”
Tumblr media
Guy: “…I see.”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “I lose confidence sometimes. Is it ok for someone like me with a character that’s too dark to somehow be the Summer troupe leader?” In the end, I’m an actor who just sells with his face and benefits from the influence of my parents… I’m nothing but a radish, no, a shriveled-up carrot…”
Guy: “…Are you ok? For various reasons.”
*door opens*
Kazunari? [Tsumugi]: “Eh, Tenten, somethin’ wrong~?”
Yuki? [Azuma]: “What are you doing, useless actor.”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “!!”
Misumi? [Homare]: “Tenma, you’re not feeling well~?”
Muku? [Hisoka]: “Are you depressed?”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “Huh, WHO IS—! Who do you think I am?” “I’m Sumeragi Tenma, a man who’s going to make my name known to the world one of these days. There’s no way there will ever be a time I’m feeling down, alright!”
Yuki? [Azuma]: “…Oh really.”
Tenma? [Tasuku]: “AHEM! Then, please excuse me.”
Guy: “…That, well, don’t push yourself.”
-pause-
Muku: Tenma-kun, if perhaps there’s anything troubling you, talk to us, alright…!
Tenma: Don’t take that seriously!
Tumblr media
Kumon: Azuma-san is Yuki, and Kazu-san is Tsumugi-san…???
Yuki: It’s too confusing.
Kazunari: Tsumu-tsumu, that’s sick~! If you do that at a mixer, it’ll probs legit be so hype!
Misumi: Arisu, your impression of me is so good~! Later, I’ll give you a Super Triangle-kun~!
-pause-
Homare: “Guy-san, won’t you lend me a bit of your strength?”
Guy: “Is something wrong?”
Homare: “It’s said we will hold a casual closing party with the refreshments as snacks.” “I must carry the drinks, but regrettably there is a lot to carry so…” “I could only bring over this much.”
Guy: “Understood. I will go get them. It’s not good to leave these unattended. Arisugawa, please wait here.”
Homare: “I’ll leave it to you.”
*leaves*
*knock, knock*
Kumon? [Hisoka]: “Excuse me!”
Tumblr media
Omi? [Guy]: “I’ve brought a gift.”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “Good job.”
Homare: “Ahh, sorry for going out of your way.”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “Homare-san’s alone?”
Homare: “Right now, we’re clattering around in preparation for the closing party.”
Omi? [Guy]: “In that case, it’s perfect. I’ve brought a quiche.”
Kumon? [Hisoka]: “A closing party’s great, huh! I wanna join too!”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “You’re not part of the Winter troupe, ya know?”
Homare: “Oh no, no, don’t mind that. Definitely, please join in.”
Kumon? [Hisoka]: “Woohoo—!”
Homare: “Everyone, you came to watch the dress rehearsal, is that right?”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “Yea. It was really amazin’.”
Omi? [Guy]: “As expected of Winter troupe’s acting fanatics.”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “I wanna practise more, ‘n become able to act that much too.”
Omi? [Guy]: “Autumn troupe needs help with action though.”
Juza? [Tasuku]: “Settsu’s good at that, right?”
Homare: “Oh my, it’s somehow rare that Juza-kun is praising Banri-kun, hm?”
Kumon? [Hisoka]: “Nii-chan’s always praisin’ Banri.”
Homare: “Is that so?”
Omi? [Guy]: “He can’t tell him face-to-face since it’s embarrassing, right?
Juza? [Tasuku]: “T-that ain’t really how it is.”
Izumi: (Some members also reveal their true opinions when their own troupe’s members aren’t around, and their hidden, unknown face comes into view…)
-pause-
Omi: So the reason I was always being watched by Guy-san was for this, huh?
Kumon: Hisoka-san is normally like that, but it’s really amazin’ when he appears on stage…
Tumblr media
-pause-
Sakyo? [Guy]: “I’m comin’ in.”
Tumblr media
Banri? [Tasuku]: “Nice work—.”
Taichi? [Tsumugi]: “Great job, guys!”
Homare: “Ahh, precisely just before this, Omi-kun and them came here.”
Sakyo? [Guy]: “Then we missed each other?”
Azami? [Azuma]: “Homare-san, your makeup sits badly.”
Tumblr media
Homare: “Um huh? Really?”
Azami? [Azuma]: “Use this before you sleep tonight. First is this one, next is this one. Facial packs are also essential. Also sleep without missing golden time.”
Homare: “Um, I got it.” “That reminds me, just before, Juza-kun was praising Banri-kun. He said his acting was good.”
Banri? [Tasuku]: “Did he really? Well, I think Hyodo’ll improve more than me though—" “I mean, the attitude he has towards actin’ is different so, Well I’m no match for somethin’ like that.”
Homare: “Umu… So Banri-kun’s also the type to give praise from the shadows.”
Taichi? [Tsumugi]: “Both of you just can’t be honest, right, Ban-chan!”
Sakyo? [Guy]: “Geez, they’re troublesome brats.”
-pause-
Sakyo: No way, they were thinking up something like this…
Tumblr media
Banri: ‘Sides, what kinda setting do we have!
Juza: That’s impossible.
Taichi: But it’s super interesting!
Azami: Winter troupe’s scary…
Tumblr media
-pause-
Tsumugi: “I’ve come back now.”
Azuma: “Sorry for the wait.”
Guy: “We’ve brought all the drinks.”
Tasuku: “While we were at it, we yanked Mikage from the marshmallows.”
Hisoka: “…Arisu is absorbed and making a weird face.”
Homare: “What is a weird face? I was just thinking for a bit.”
Tsumugi: “Thinking?”
Homare: “No, I was thinking that, apparently, I still don’t know everyone in the Theatre troupe very well yet.” “The human heart is terribly complicated and mysterious, hm?”
Tumblr media
Hisoka: “…Not just his face, but what Arisu says is weird too.”
Tsumugi: “Did something happen?”
Tasuku: “…Well, somehow I understand what he wants to say.”
Azuma: “It’s that everyone has a hidden face, right?”
Guy: “…That’s right.”
Tumblr media
Izumi: (The six Winter troupe members gather again; they talk about how the Theatre troupe members also have their various circumstances and it ends—)
-pause-
Audience member A: That was so interesting~!
Audience member B: I never thought that they’d actually do impressions!
Audience member C: They were really accurate!
Izumi: (Thank goodness the audience members also look like they enjoyed it…!) (In this friendly atmosphere where everyone is laughing and surprised, they change clothes and it’s the Winter troupe revue!)
-pause-
Tsumugi: Now, everyone. It’s the Winter troupe-like adult showtime.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Audience member A: Ehh, tap dancing!?
Audience member B: Amazing! So cool…!
Izumi: (I see. At a glance, it seems they’re well-arranged, and the steps are making proper use of each of their personalities.) (Tsumugi-san is dainty, and Tasuku-san is cool with his strong steps. Guy-san is also powerful in each of his movements.)
Tumblr media
Izumi: (Homare-san is elegant, and because of his original nature, Hisoka-san’s movements are light. Also, Azuma-san is sexy.)
Audience member C: Winter troupe, stuff like this suits them, huh!
Audience member A: I get it~! Everyone’s wonderful!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Izumi: (They’re such gorgeous steps that I can’t imagine it was polished off in such a short time.) (…Azuma-san, just what kind of intensive training did you go through in that short amount of time.)
-pause-
Tsumugi: Everyone, for coming today—.
Tumblr media
Winter troupe: Thank you very much!

Chapter 5 Sneak Peek
Hello, me again. remember me? I don’t. Anyway here’s a sneak peek of Chapter 5 of the assistant AU, called Good Company. Honestly, this chapter made me nostalgic because Aoko is talking to these two characters and it made me think of someone who is no longer with me. Promise this isn’t a sad chapter it’s just me in my feelings. Hope you are staying safe, and hope you enjoy.
Aoko checked the time on her phone and waited in confusion outside of The White Rabbit. It was past any reasonable hour on a school night, and she was wearing her best dress along with make-up. She had been getting help from Chikage-san on how to make herself look older and it was coming in handy that night. According to her resources anyone under the age of 18 was not allowed entry overnight, but it was her companion that chose this location. It was also her companion who advised her on looking much older, or else she needn't had bothered so much. She was a little less than a year away from 18 to begin with.
Jii-san finally appeared and looked her over with a satisfied smile. "You look wonderful Nakamori-san."
"Better than the last time I snuck in at a bar?" She asked cheekily.
Jii-san's eyes lit up with a hint of mischief, "Much improved. Unfortunately the young master will not be here to see it." He held out his arm and Aoko took the offer.
"Jii-san, why are we here, again?" Aoko asked while checking out the once tame diner. The place was lit up like a club with cheerful music and multicolored lights.
"Because we have reservations, and a meeting with old friends of mine and Kuroba-sama."
'His and Kuroba-sensei's?' "This wouldn't have something to do with my alibi, and Chikage-san's training would it? You did say you've thought of something."
"An alibi, yes. As for the training well, that's going to depend on you. First I want to introduce you to this building officially." Jii-san gestured to The White Rabbit. "By day a popular, but expensive diner. By night a club with a preforming show!" Jii-san smiled widely as they stepped in front of the bouncer. Jii-san gave his name and they were drawn into the building and told to wait off to the side.
The interior was nothing like Aoko remembered from the last time. The multicolored lights decorated the room like a crystalline cavern. Large, dark curtains draped over each wall giving the place a sense of infinity, like looking up at the night sky. There was a large hole in the center of the building. Rainbow silk fabric cascaded from the ceiling. Aoko noticed how there was a border surrounding the area where the hole was where no one sat despite many tables filling out already.
Before Aoko could ask what everything was about, a man around her father's age had strolled up to welcome them. He had dusky brown hair striped with grey, and a sincere smile that led up to his brown eyes. He wore an olive green suit with golden buttons and cufflinks, overall he was rather attractive for his age.
"Ah, Konosuke-kun nice to see you!" His voice boomed over the clamour of the noisy patrons. "You're right on time for the show!"
"Yuzu-kun, good to see you. Sorry for the short notice, I normally call in advance." Jii-san answered timidly.
"No apology necessary, you know you're always welcome here, day or night!" 'Yuzu-kun,' glanced around the room and gestured for Jii-san and Aoko to follow him up to a higher floor.
Jii-san and Aoko obediently followed after him taking great care to not accidently disturb the other guests as they got settled. They climbed up the spiral staircase as quickly as they could but their host seemed to be much faster. Twice they had lost sight of him in the crowd only to find him whenever he would back-pedal to get them. They climbed all the way to the third floor and Aoko watched in curiosity as their host pulled a staircase from the roof and he ascended to what she assumed to be an attic space. An attic space that she hadn't noticed the last time she was here. Jii-san began to follow him up, but Aoko grabbed his sleeve.
"Does Kaito know about him?"
Jii-san looked despondently in her eyes and shook his head. "No, Kaito-bocchama doesn't know any of the people we'll meet tonight. His mother made it so." He politely took her hand off his cuff and climbed up the stairs. Aoko wondered about that, and after remembering the devastating look on his face she decided not to pursue it for now. It was clearly a sore spot.
When they reached the attic space the man known so far as 'Yuzu-kun,' had turned around and spread his arms out. "This is a much better room for conversation! No extra noise here, unless of course you count the bustling of my performers as they get ready!"
Almost as if validating this statement, a group of people dressed in shimmering outfits had entered the area in a babbling rush. Each performer had a different, but equally vibrant outfit with expressive make-up. They seemed to be going over their routine and had begun to form a line around the opening of the hole. When one spotted them they immediately hushed the others, and the volume lowered considerably.
"Now introductions are in order, right Konosuke-kun?" The man held his hand out for Aoko to shake. "My name is Yuzuru Haido and I am the manager and night-time owner of The White Rabbit."
"O-Oh! It's nice to meet you, Haido-san. My name is. . ." Aoko looked to Jii-san wondering if it was safe to tell this man her real name.
"Aoko Nakamori, but it's a bit of a secret Yuzu-kun." Jii-san quickly added.
Haido-san looked at Aoko more closely and seemed to come to some conclusions of his own. Before she could begin to worry about what he took from that, Haido-san smiled and pulled a chair out for her to take.
"For the young Nakamori-san." He added giving it away.
Aoko took the seat and Jii-san sat down to her left while Haido-san caged her in on the right. 'Odd how no one sat in the seat facing me directly,'Aoko thought awkwardly while placing the cloth napkin in her lap. 'Whoever we're waiting for must be someone important.'
"You see Yuzxu-kun, I've claimed Nakamori-san here as my disciple. She's already been tested, and passed." Jii-san passed Aoko a menu that was placed on the side of the table.
"So all that's left is the registry. You've never taken on a student before Konosuke-kun, she must be something truly special." Haido-san glanced at Aoko and chuckled at the expression she made when looking at the prices. "Don't worry so much sweetheart, I'm sure he doesn't mind paying for you. Especially since I always add his old mentor discount into his total."
"Old mentor?" Aoko raised her eyebrow, intrigued. 'Didn't he just say Jii-chan has never taken on a student?'
"Kuroba-sama and I merely advised him on a few performances and investment details." Jii-san answered with visible nostalgia.
"'Details!?' Absolutely not Konosuke-kun! What you both had done was nothing so small or trivial, and I've told you this before!" Haido-san looked offended and locked eyes with Aoko. "Kuroba-kun and Konosuke-kun had helped me through some of my toughest times. They encouraged me when no one else would and believed in me when no one else had. Back before I was in charge of The White Rabbit at night and doing travelling shows, I was a kid on the street. No money, no plans, and most damning of all- no connections." He took a deep breath and continued. "I was preforming on the street when I first met Kuroba-kun. Here's a guy that couldn't have been much older than me but had the confidence and talent of a man who's lived lifetimes." His eyes became distant here, and a large smile overtook his face. "He somehow saw talent in me. Offered me a job. I thought it was going to be something sketchy. 'Too good to be true,' I thought. He said he was looking for a stage warmer- an opening act to 'warm up the crowd!'" He chuckled and leaned closer to Aoko's ear. "I thought 'can't get any worse, probably preforming in some hole-in-the-wall place. It wasn't." He leaned back and exclaimed, "It was the Chapeau Magique theatre!"
Aoko's eyes widened both in shock over his volume and in his news. The Chapeau Magique theatre had been renowned for hosting many of the finest performers in the world.
"You should have seen his face when we took him there for the first time. He looked like he would faint." Jii-san added playfully with a wink to Aoko.
"You're forgetting the part I didn't believe you, Konosuke-kun!" Haido-san added pointing an accusatory finger at Jii-san. Both men laughed and Aoko couldn't help joining in. Their good humor was infectious. "That's when I began to open for them until I got noticed by talent scouts. I'll never forget it." He looked at Jii-san gratefully. "It was some of the best days of my life."
The words hung in the air warmly and the trio fell into a short, comfortable silence before Jii-san broke. "I should have called to tell you myself Yuzu-kun. I was just so-" a look of utter anguish fell over Jii-san's face like an unwelcomed cloud. He continued to struggle with his words and Aoko discreetly placed her hand on his arm worriedly. Jii-san looked at her and relaxed.
"Konosuke-kun if I've told you once I've told you a million times, it's alright-" Haido-san began but was interrupted.
"No Yuzu-kun, it isn't alright!" Jii-san sighed and explained, mostly to Aoko's benefit. "My actions after Kuroba-sama's death would've no doubt made him upset had he been alive." He looked back at Haido-san who for his part looked like he's heard this speech a thousand times. "I should have told you, and everyone else he and I met in our travels. He and I loved coming here to watch your shows."
Haido-san smiled at Jii-san tearfully, "I remember how angry he was when I told him I wasn't going to be dancing anymore."
"That's only because he was under the impression you were quitting aerial dance completely." Jii-san huffed in obvious agitation, instantly lightening the mood.
"He wouldn't let me finish!" Haido-san defended. He looked at Aoko and explained, "He asked me when my next show was, I told him there wouldn't be one. He did his thing where his face would go blank and he would shut down." He heaved a sigh, "Before I could tell him why he began his lecture on 'talent is like a blade,' and I couldn't get a word in."
Aoko snorted at that. Jii-san always has the same lecture whenever she began to show signs of defeat. 'Talent is like a blade, it must be routinely sharpened for it to be useful.'
"It took me months to get him to talk to you," Jii-san said angrily.
"Imagine how I felt!"
Aoko chuckled at their back-and-forth causing both men to stop and look at her. "I-I'm sorry," she gasped between laughs. When she calmed down enough to breathe she continued. "I can just tell you all were very good friends. It's funny. . ." She looked down at her lap, "I wish I got to know that side of Kuroba-sensei." She didn't add how she also wished Kaito was here to hear these stories with her. 'It would have meant so much to him,' she thought sadly.
"Did you say 'Kuroba-sensei'?" Haido-san asked. He looked at Jii-san, "Is this the reason you chose her?"
"Jii-san smiled, "it is a part of it, yes." He explained how Aoko was Kaito's best friend and Aoko picked it up from there.
She told him about her life before the Kurobas, and how she met Kaito. She explained how Kaito had changed her life and how his family inspired and encouraged her. She told him of all the things Kuroba-sensei, Chikage-san and Kaito had taught her. Kaito and his family had meant so much to her. After all, if it wasn't for them she wouldn't know where she'd be. She spoke until her voice seemed sore and when she got to the part of Chikage-san's training (she made sure to avoid mention of Kaitou Kid) Jii-san jumped in.
"That's why I brought her here." Jii-san explained while inputting his and Aoko's orders into a tablet-like device. "You see, she has the talent but none of the guidance. The drive but none of the confidence." He looked in Haido-san's eyes. "I wanted to show her what confidence looks like in a performance. Maybe give her a chance to talk to some of your dancers. If you had a job opening she could benefit from that, too."
Haido-san smiled conspiratorially and said, "I'll do you one better." He gestured to the aerial silks tied to the rafters above them. "After tonight's show, I'll show you some exercises."
Aoko gaped, and glanced at the dancers who were slowly, and gracefully descending to the lower floors.
"As for the job, I'm not supposed to hire high schoolers for something as dangerous as preforming aerials." Haido-san cradled his chin in thought. "Becoming a waitress wouldn't help too much with becoming an assistant. I suppose you can be hired on as a part of the skeleton crew, but they arrive very late. Past high schooler curfew in fact." He noticed Aoko's confusion and elaborated. "The skeleton crew are the people in charge of turning this place from a diner to a show and back again." Haido-san gestured to the lights throughout the entire building. "They're responsible for lights, sound, equipment, and clean-up." He looked at Aoko, "That okay with you? We have the latest systems so it'll help you learn some stage-hand things."
"Yes! That's more than okay, it's perfect! Thank you so much!" Aoko bowed her head in gratitude causing Haido-san to laugh.
"You're very welcome Nakamori-chan! Any friend of the Kurobas and Konosuke-kun is a friend of mine! Now that we've talked, how about we watch this show from a better viewpoint?"
Aoko and Jii-san agreed and they headed down to the second floor to watch the dancers go to work. Throughout the performance Haido-san would explain the dancers' movements and hand/ weight placement. Aoko's mind raced with the new information and the excitement that someday soon, she'll be able to do those same maneuvers. She only hoped one day she'd be as graceful.
*update* I spent all night writing this chapter and wanted to warn everyone that this one's going to be a MAMMOTH of a read. Seriously it has more words that Contrary Prologue/Introspection. Take it as my apology for the short chapter last time. I hope this more than makes up for it.

Right-o, so now that I’m back to where I left this, considerations before proceeding into new grounds:
God damn this manga is horny. It’s not like I forgot about it, but it’s easier to notice more subtle things about the mangaka’s shameless self-indulgences with a pair of older eyes.
As far as shonen protags go, Kenichi is pretty alright. It’s definitely the rest of the cast that makes it a great trip (as if this was anything new with JP media), but Kenichi doesn’t detract from it, unlike other protrags, if you feel me.
Miu can fucking piss off, though, I still can’t stand her. I can stand her less now than I did before, if anything. I don’t throw this term around too much, but that’s a bona fide Mary Sue if I ever had the displeasure of meeting one. Bizarre, too, given the rest of the cast, you know, is charming and doesn’t make me want to beat the shit out of my own cranium with a taxidermy beaver.
Siegfried rocked when I was a teen and Siegfried still rocks now.
Very much a middle ground between hardline martial arts manga (Kengan Ashura) and faux martial arts manga that are simply fantasy combat manga with a martial arts flavor (fuckin’ 80% of the damn genre), leaning more towards hardline but never forgetting it is, indeed, shonen. It doesn’t ever devolve into ki blasts and easy cop-outs, and in fact, remains a fun shonen ride that definitely grows the beard as it goes, sans a few things that are sadly too essential to the core of the manga to hope for their correction (ie: Miu), and you can see why it lasted 583 freaking chapters (not counting those of the first Kenichi manga -- yes, there is actually a first Kenichi manga, this one is the second). A nice mix of very meticulous research on martial arts done by the mangaka with a healthy dose of shonen, basically.
I’m not 100% in love with how this handles tension, though. Things are way too convenient most of the time. Too convenient. You Were Never In Any Danger, Kenichi, As A Master Was Watching In The Distance. Yes, Masters never interrupt a fight between disciples, but it sort of dampens any sort of tension when time and time again, there really wasn’t any danger. It takes around 350 chapters for the mangaka to actually step away from this, an unacceptably long amount of time, but thankfully, since it’s a always charming shonen first, it works out in an “I guess” kinda way, in that you’re better off focusing on the parts that are done right.
God do I fucking hate Miu.
Man do I fucking love Siegfried.
Mangaka gets lazy about some fights, and they become these CLASHES of special effects that say “an intense superhuman fight is going on!” but ehhhh don’t like that, I like to see the actual blows. Kengan Ashura spoiled me.
BIG props to the mangaka for sticking to the cast. Ukita, for example, is exactly the kind of early game big mook dude that you’d think would get put on a bus at the start of the second arc and never be seen again. He absolutely sticks for the long ride and even gets some really nice character development. It didn’t fall into this hole that MA manga (and shonen, fuck) tends to trip into most of the time: Oversaturation of new characters as the new arcs arrive (you ever read Fairy Tail? Don’t) while putting perfectly cool and useful old ones out of focus (YOU EVER READ FAIRY TDON’T), mangaka has stuck to his guns and his initial cast of swashbucklers and we have ALL benefited from this. I couldn’t live in a world in which this manga would deprive me from seeing Takeda, Ukita and Siegfried ever again.
I’ve been having a lot of fun with it! Yeah it’s got its flaws (ie: Miu) but whatever dude it’s fucking fun and good in many other regards.
Really could use being less horny because by the 500th blatant Miu ass shot I’m already rolling my eyes like yes yes you want to bone your shitty Mary Sue can we please get going already, but really, it makes up for it in other ways (Ukita and Chikage’s dynamic? Gold).
So yeah with that said let’s do that baseball and tread into NEW TERRITORY.

{ Here’s another little prompt I did, this time for Kitsuchi and Aika, for @msbeastlyeevee! }
Truly, one of the biggest mistakes Aika had ever made in her life was interfering in the business of the two Feudal Lords of Japan’s Yakuza—only one of which she was related to. Her mother, Tokyo’s feared Yakuza Queen, had been ready to bathe in the blood of Kazama Chikage, Kyoto’s infamous Yakuza Lord. If she had to take down the whole Kazama family, she would; even Aika could at least tell that much.
It was a mutual agreement on Kazama’s part.
If only Aika hadn’t rushed forward, grabbing the hand of the nearest Kazama child, a clumsy excuse dribbling out before her brain could catch up. If only it hadn’t been the absolute worst of the Kazama children, Kitsuchi. If only he hadn’t cooperated and both families had been slaughtered in the worst yakuza battle in history. If only she wasn’t now his fake girlfriend. If only he wasn’t her fake boyfriend. If only she had been eaten in the womb by her twin! Anything!
This was one of those situations where it became Murphy’s Law very quickly. They had to become very familiar with each other very quickly, and it made her skin crawl just thinking about it. Sure, he was handsome, and had a nice voice, and was a fantastic kisser and—
NO.
NO, NO, NO.
None of that is true.
If she had anyone who was in on her secret, she would start a betting pool that he practiced black magic immediately. How else could he get her under his spell so quickly? It just didn’t make sense!
There she was, brooding over her cup of punch. Ever since her little “hey we’re dating!” stunt, she was required to go to so many business meetings and dinner parties in order to lessen the tensions between all the illustrious yakuza families. After all, once Shiranui (or, more accurately, Saigou) and Kazama were on good terms, no one else could really keep up their petty arguments, either.
And of course, that meant a lot of time with her, um, “beloved”. And, oh boy, did he love to press her buttons. It seemed like he would take every opportunity to ruin the reputation she had spent most of her adolescence building up.
Shiranui Aika, the cold, heartless heir to the Shiranui/Saigou family, matched only by her sister, Kiyomi. A duo of ruthless rulers, who would cut down anyone who got in the way of business.
He killed that image within a week.
“Oh, snuggle bunny~!”
“Here you are, cuddly bear~!”
“I missed you, shmoopsie poopsie~!”
Every. Damn. Day.
It was even worse in front of other people, since they had to sell it. He would constantly nuzzle her (ruining her hair), pepper her face with kisses (ruining her makeup), and gaze down at her so lovingly that she could swear he wasn’t faking it (ruining her confidence). He was too convincing, it was almost scary how easily he could do it. It was like some sort of light switch! He was a witch, she could swear!!
And… damn it all… she found herself not minding it as much. It was almost comforting having someone around—even if it was all fake. Biting her lip, she stared into her cup, the red liquid reflecting her features. He even got her this punch, which she could tell someone spiked—most likely her mother.
“Hey, princess.” A low voice mumbled before planting a kiss on her cheek. Kitsuchi’s presence was undeniable, and its effect on her was equally as undeniable. It was just another staged display of public affection, so why did it feel different than usual? Maybe she had contracted something. Tuberculosis was always a winner—could she have tuberculosis? It was the perfect cop-out for this situation.
Faking her death had been an option on the table since Day One.
Two sets of eyes—with two sets of death glares—settled on them as Kitsuchi wrapped his hand around Aika’s waist: Kazama’s and Izumi’s, respectively. Ah, yes, the Disapproving Parents and the Star-Crossed Lovers. The sooner the blood feud was over, the better, in Aika’s opinion.
As the death glares continued, the “lovers” had to amp up their performance. Begrudgingly (at least on Aika’s part), Aika turned towards her “beloved”, her “light of her life”, her “boyfriend”, and wrapped her arms around him, nuzzling her head into his shoulder before looking up at him with as much affection as she could muster.
“They’re watching us,” she whispered, pressing her nose against his, and smiling like she actually enjoyed it (which, for the record, she 100% did not). Kitsuchi chuckled, his breath hitting Aika’s lips. Her cheeks heated up slightly, as much as she would later deny it.
“Just keep it up,” he smiled at her, leaning back slightly and brushing her hair to the side.
“Of course I will,” she mumbled, playing with the collar of his suit, and play pouting at him. “What do I look like, some sort of idiot, or somethin’?”
“Yeah, you do.”
Oh, this boy is a dead man.
Smiling brightly at him, Aika took his hand into hers and gave it a tight squeeze.
“I’m liable to break your legs for that one, Kitsuchi, my darling,” she whispered, smiling up at him, and rocking back and forth on the balls of her feet. “After I finish with your arms, that is.” Before she could continue with her string of threats, Kitsuchi used the arm wrapped around her waist to pull her closer, causing Aika’s breath to catch in her throat.
“You keep forgetting our difference in size, dear,” he grumbled, his voice lower than before—if that was even possible! Oh, lord, spare her! His voice and their proximity caused all of her courage to disappear in a matter of seconds.
Witchcraft!!
As she stared into his eyes, her face began heating up. They were just… so close! Even though they had kissed before, and it was all just an act, and none of this meant anything, it still made her heart beat a little faster.
Judging by the look he was giving her, he had noticed.
DON’T DO THIS TO ME, KAZAMA.
He did it.
The glint in his eyes was undeniable, and that trademark Kazama grin spread across his features. Hastily looking away, Aika tried her best to ignore him in his entirety—how close he was, the smell of his cologne, the feeling of his breath on her ear as he inched ever closer.
“W-What?” she faltered, pressing her hands against his chest to keep them at least a few inches apart. Her face only continued to heat up, and she knew he could tell.
“What is it, sweetheart?” Oh no. He only broke out that nickname for when he was really trying to get under her skin. It didn’t help that he was just barely whispering it into her ear, either. Curse this man!! Aika wondered, momentarily, if she could even begin to fight back, or if all her efforts would be useless.
It was a chance she was willing to take.
Turning back towards him, she lifted her chin defiantly, staring him in the eye. He seemed to find this show of dominance amusing, but she refused to back down!! Even if she was a blushing mess, and he could obviously see that, she wouldn’t let him have the last laugh. He could win the battle, but she will win the war!!
Twisting her finger around a loose strand of his hair, she glanced up at him. “I’ll tell you, Kitsuchi…” she murmured, the edges of her lips turning up only slightly. “I’m incredibly attracted to you, and being here, in your arms, stirs up so many feelings inside that I can’t begin to describe…” Pressing herself against him slightly more, Aika glanced up at him, lips parting slightly. “I want to be ravished by you every night for the rest of my living days,” she confessed, her voice low, her breath warm on Kitsu’s lips.
Kitsuchi gulped, his face reddening. Aika leaned onto her tip-toes slightly, closing what little distance was left between them, before giving Kitsuchi a smirk that mirrored her father’s.
“Is that what you wanted to hear?”
It was his turn to curse her internally. She had that shit-eating grin of a Shiranui plastered on her face, and after everything she just said, it was driving him crazy.
“Now, then,” she huffed, giving him a look. “I have matters to attend to.”
Yeah, like he was going to let her go that easily. Not after what she just pulled. This meant war.
“Sure thing, honey bunny.” He was laying it on thick enough that she repressed a shudder as best as she could. Aika took one step away from him before he loudly caught her attention. “Ah, ah, ah! Wait just a second, bunbun!”
“Bun… bun”? Aika grimaced, not so internally.
Turning back towards him, she gave him an impatient look. His little call had attracted the attention of most of the people in a 20-foot radius. He smiled at her—with one look Aika could tell this meant trouble.
“You forgot our tradition!” Every alarm in Aika’s body was going off. What on earth was he planning?! She didn’t trust him! Not one bit!!
However, her morbid sense of curiosity won out in the end, and she remained within attack range. He approached her, and while she tensed, she stood tall, trying her best to smile at him. The distance between them was closed almost instantly. He still had that smile on his face—he was up to something.
“Until next time, cuddle bunny~,” he announced, rather loudly, before pressing his nose against hers and rubbing it. Aika recoiled, but recovered by playing the role of the embarrassed girlfriend.
“Kitsuchi!!” she whined, pouting at him. Amused stares came from around the room, along with whispers of the happy couple, and when they could be expecting a wedding. After the wedding, peace could be achieved by all the families.
“Don’t forget my goodbye kiss,” he smiled innocently. At least, it appeared innocent to those who didn’t know any better; to Aika, it was a smile from the Devil himself. He knew everyone had their eyes on them, and if she hesitated anymore, they would start asking questions.
Fine. One little peck. THAT’S IT THAT’S ALL HE’S GETTING.
Aika leaned up, gently pressing her lips against his. It was more polite than romantic; but apparently, Kitsuchi hadn’t finished with her yet. Arm hooking around her waist, he pulled her closer, cradling her head like any proper lover should. Aika let out a small squeak in protest, and she could swear she could feel him smiling against the kiss.
Her internal monologue was a slew of curses fit for a sailor, but before she knew it, the kiss was over. Kitsuchi smiled down at her, running his hands through her hair. It was an affectionate action, until he created two pigtails with his hands. Aika’s expression gave her thoughts away, and Kitsuchi reveled in it.
“I’ll miss my little bunny~!” he announced, loudly enough for even Kazama and Izumi to hear.
“I’ll miss you, too, my darling,” Aika said at a much-more-acceptable volume, faking a smile and caressing his cheek. Taking a step back, she took his hands into hers to separate them from her hair. “I’ll be back before you know it.”
Her original plan was to not return at all, but, of course, fate had other plans.
Taking a single step forward, Aika felt her heel wobble, and completely snap off her shoe. The sudden loss of balance sent Aika tumbling towards the floor; gasps from the other partygoers rang out as they watched her fall, but a single voice stood out amongst the others.
“Aika!”
She braced for impact, but it never came. At least, not the impact she was expecting. Glancing around in an attempt to regain her bearings, she noticed that Kitsuchi had caught her mid-fall, his arms wrapped around her in a graceful dip.
“Are you all right?” he asked, concern written across the features of his face. Her heart was beating rather quickly, but she chalked that up to the adrenaline of falling (rather than the obvious answer with his arms wrapped around her). Kitsuchi guided her up, bringing her back to a standing position.
“Yeah, I’m fine. My heel just broke, that’s all.” What a pain. She loved these heels.
Before she could mourn the loss of her favorite pair of shoes for much longer, she was swept off her feet, literally. It took Aika a few moments to register that she was being carried, much like a princess.
“W-W-W-What are you doing?!” Aika shrieked, completely genuine.
“We need to get you taken care of before you twist one of those pretty ankles of yours.” The smirk he gave her was enough for Aika to lose her grip on her persona—the hardened mafia heir became a soft, blushing young woman. In a way, she was dazzling, with her hair loosely framing her face, her cheeks a deep red, and her eyes reflecting the light of the chandeliers in the room. She nodded only slightly, barely perceptible, her arms reaching around Kitsuchi’s neck to support herself.
Kitsuchi moved through the crowds as if it were nothing, carrying his “lover”. They were truly a sight: the lovers against all odds supporting each other in such a public manner. The crowds nearly parted for them, until they were able to make it to a secluded hallway.
In the dim corridor, Kitsuchi continued walking without putting Aika down.
“Okay… show’s over, Kazama. You can put me down now,” she half-joked, her arms loosening around his neck, although remaining on his shoulders to support herself.
“You fainted straight into my arms. You know, if you wanted my attention you didn’t have to go to such extremes.”
“I would hardly call that fainting!” Aika protested, rather loudly. Realizing how loud she was, she whispered harshly, “My heel broke and I fell. You just happened to catch me! And I don’t want your attention!”
“Really?” he mused, shooting her a glance, that same Kazama smirk pulling at his lips. “I recall you saying that you wanted me to—what was it again? ‘Ravish you every night for the rest of your living days?”
Aika’s eyes widened, her face turning a deep shade of red, noticeable even in the low lighting of the hallway. She tensed, taking a deep breath and holding it as she scanned his features for any sign of danger.
“T-That was…” she stammered, unable to really explain where her thought process had been in the moment. “I didn’t mean it!”
“If you ever change your mind,” he started with a smile, pulling her close enough that their lips were almost touching. “Just let me know.”
“I won’t!”

Thank you for the request, dear! 💕  I wanted to do something since the begining of october but couldn’t think of anything. Fortunately this came up!
Happy pre-halloween everyone, enjoy! 💕
Troupes with not scared! Reader in a haunted house
All righty! Here we are going to divide the whole dorm into three big groups:
The ‘I was kind of worried about you some more than others, but if you say you’re okay...’ group: Yuki, Misumi, Tsuzuru, Omi, Tasuku Juza, Sakyo, Tsumugi, Hisoka
Yuki
He would never understand how you can go from being terrified to okay
Just a few moments ago you were almost stopping the circulation in his hand? Now you are looking around humming, geez
After glancing at you, seeing you really are fine, he focuses his attention on the next thing he loves most: clothes
He’s SO disappointed though
“Those are some low-quality clothes, is this their way to scare us?”
“Yuki”
“They won’t fool me even if everything is dark”
“Yuki, please just… act scared”
“Why should I, it’s only their mix of red and pink what makes me shudder”
Mizumi
Smiling and swinging his arms the whole time
Misumi’s so happy you are not looking so horrified anymore!
Grabs you by your hand
He’s so excited to be with you because??
IT’S TIME TO LOOK FOR TRIANGLES IN THE DARK
“Look! That man has a big triangle in his chest, let’s ask him if we can take it!”
This ball of sunshine knows no fear
“MISUMI, NO”
You both get scolded by the actors on your way out
Tsuzuru
Tsuzuru is good with haunted houses but doesn’t want you to force yourself
You assure him you are okay and so, when he sees you are calm after entering, looking around even slightly excited, he smiles
Is he really going to keep smiling though
Everything is cool until someone in a clown costume jumps at his face??
Just like the next one, and the next…
“Why do they keep jumping only on me?!”
“Tsuzuru, calm-”
Another shriek comes from behind him
“DON’T ‘TSUZURU’ ME Y/N, WHY ARE THEY LIKE THIS”
He ends up exhausted as you pat him in the back on the way out
Omi
Yes, you are not scared at all now, but this one still goes full mom-mode, taking your hand through the haunted house.
“Look Y/N, that’s an awesome decoration, right?”
“Omi, I’m fine, don’t try to distract me”
He slightly scolds the actors with a smile when they shout and holds you close to him
“Omi, we are dating, you are not my caretaker”
“Haha, you are right”
“...”
“Would you like to go to eat after this? It’s been-”
“OMI”
Omi protection squad 24/7, whether it’s necessary or not
Tasuku
Thinks the whole concept of entering even if you are scared is stupid, but agrees to enter
Surprised to see you better the moment it starts but doesn’t comment on it
A monster appears. You tilt your head. Tasuku hums
“I see… but I still think coming from behind and surrounding us would have come across better”
"Tasuku, stop focusing on the acting for once”
There’s an awkard silence between you three
Tasuku stares at you, and then at the confused monster
“...I’m just saying the reaction would have been better if-“
Juza
He was worried about you as you both waited in line
You really looked horrified
Now… you are fine? You are not making it up are you
He tenses at the shrieks though, trying to remain composed to save face
“Juza, are you breathing?”
You almost can’t walk with your boyfriend so close
“...yeah”
End up laughing as he holds you so he doesn’t beat up anyone that randomly appears by instinct
Sakyo
He dragged entering inside because you looked too scared
Why would you even do that to yourself, are you an idiot? You pressed you just needed to do it
“I won’t be waiting for you to caught up, understood?”
“A-all right!”
After seeing you are okay though, he’s low-key glad you are enjoying it
Plus, he doesn’t have to deal with any shouting
You discover nothing phases him??
“As expected from my lovely yakuza”
“Care to repeat yourself”
After one glare from him, the actors are also quick to back off
Tsumugi
Tsumugi kept telling you to leave the queue, you didn’t have to do it
But after entering you look fine?
“Are you sure you are okay, Y/N? We can still...”
You laugh, “I’m fine, Tsumugi”
You convince him to relax and enjoy the attraction. Maybe he follows your comment too much
“That murdering scene was really well done!”
“Y/N, look the way they try to fight the killer in such a tiny space”
“I need to remember how great they...”
You are not sure if you are in a haunted house with your boyfriend or watching streets acts in a closed place
Hisoka
You both just walk like it’s a walk across the park until one monster appears
He looks so deadpan you are glad you were not scared
Who knows what would have happened if you had had to drag him around the place scared
“Hisoka, you okay?”
“Mhm, this place just… makes me sleepy”
“Makes you what now”
Hisoka just leans on you every chance he gets
You both unconciously damaged the ego of the actors
Not a single scream from any of you
The ‘Aw, weren’t you supposed to be scared?’ group just what’s wrong with them: Kazunari, Itaru, Chikage, Masumi, Azuma, Homare, Banri
Kazunari
Makes an instablam live out of it to record you.
What? He thought it would be cute, you holding onto him scared!
Instead, he realizes you are so damn cool??
“Sup y’all~ we are in a haunty house, say sike! And with me is…” he shows your face, you glance at the phone
“...Y/N?”
“Brutal. How are you doing, mysterious hunter?”
“Uh…Good now”
“SO BRUTAL. Hear that everyone?? My partner is just too epic to get scared!”
He’s so focused on you that barely takes notice of the scariness of the place
Itaru
Itaru keeps asking you if you are okay after you both enter
“I told you I am! You don’t have to worry”
He sighs “Ah... was hoping to see a scared Y/N, guess that’s still unlocked”
“...You had the chance to follow what I said with a smile, you know”
He laughs under your deadpan stare
After a while you notice he’s not near you anymore?? “Itaru? If you try to do something weird...”
“Y/N, this looks just like the zombie armor of my last gameplay…GG”
You have to actually DRAG him out I swear this man
Chikage
He’s curious to see how you would react because before entering it looked like you were on your way to death
Glancing at you now, everything looks fine? He’s sad he can’t tease you
Becomes somewhat of a tour to entertain you
“See, Y/N? That’s wrong. The whole blood bath is better to do it in the shower because…”
“Chokers like those really do nothing to…”
“Maybe I should tell them how to make murder scenes more accurate?”
He chuckles under your stare
The haunted house isn’t the one who’s scary
Masumi
He’s sad you aren’t as terrified as you looked at first???
“Why the hell do you look betrayed”
Masumi just really wanted to protect you
He decides he can still do that
Doesn’t stop dragging you and holding you close every chance he gets
“Masumi let that death grip go, I told you I’m fine”
“I’m taking precautions”
“But I’m-“
“Precautions”
Azuma
He looks at you, smiling in silence for a while “You look better than before, I’m glad”
“Yeah! I don’t know, guess it was the whole anticipation thing”
He stares at you blinking. You narrow your eyes, what-
“Y/N, Is that a real cocroach on your back?”
You turn around horrified, what the...?!
There’s nothing there
He laughs
“Azuma what the heck!”
HE IS STILL TRYING TO GET YOU SCARED IM-
Also, Azuma calling cute at every single monster that appears
Homare
Homare is intrigued about how you would react inside
He was hoping to do a poem about the beauty of fear
Glancing at you, he sees you are not afraid, to which he ‘hums’
Well, it’s fine, you did look georgous smiling
“It doesn’t matter if you are not afraid dear Y/N, let us enjoy this ghostly and dramatical affair before us!”
“Homare? This is not the time to-“
There’s nothing that would stop him now, you had given him enough material as you waited anxiously on the line anyway
Banri
You swear, you can’t take HIM ANYWHERE
He thought you would be scared so somehow gets bored when you don’t jump what the hell Banri
His solution? entertain himself with the place
Pretends to get a panic attack and flips off the actors
You both are banned from the haunted house for misbehavior
“Y/N, come on, I said I was sorry”
“No, you are not”
“… pfff, yeah you’re right”
 -
Finally, the ‘I was supposed to protect you or enjoy our qualitity time but ended up screaming too loud and/or ragging you around’ group: Citron, Sakuya, Muku, Tenma, Taichi
Citron
Forget about being horrified, excited or whatnot, the second-hand embarrassment is real with this man
“DO NOT BE AFRAID Y/N, I KILLED AN EVIL DEMON ONCE IN MY HOMELAND, I KNOW HOW TO DEAL WITH THIS”
You try to speed up the pace
Citron is blindly hitting and kicking thin air as he screams ‘who is it’
He didn’t even notice you weren’t scared honestly
“I protected you well, yes, love?”
“Uh… yeah”
Sakuya
He jumps a lot, admiring how well you end up managing now
“Y-you sure you are okay, Y/N?”
“Yup! How about you, Sakuya?”
“Oh, I’m… UGH!!”
He doesn’t try to run because it looks like you are enjoying the attraction.
Also, still wants to protect you if something happens to you? my heart
Sakuya holds on to your hands for dear life. He makes you promise you that you won’t leave each other’s side.
Poor boy has gained a few years but he’s so proud of how cool you looked
Muku
Insert big shriek anytime something moves, poor boy had never experienced something so scary at this big scale
Well neither had you, but you looked fine now??
He keeps trembling, doesn’t let go of your shirt
You said you both were going to face your fears, why is he the only one horrified now??
“I’m sorry Muku”
You both end up having a break afterward to calm his nerves. He’s so embarrased
“W-was I brave…?
And this. This is were you lie and say yes
Taichi
Man, he is SO excited because??? He can hold you if you are afraid!
It’s. His. Chance
Or not
Why is he the one who hides behind you it wasn’t supposed to be like this
“GAAAAAH!!”
“You okay, Tai?”
“I JUST SAW SOMETHING MOVE, I SWEAR LET’S GET OUT THE ROOM PLEASE Y/N!!”
You become his knight in shiny armor, he’s so awestruck
For nothing really?
Taichi is too loud, no one is even bothering you anymore
He still clings desperately on to you
Tenma
Fakes being fine to keep appearances although he’s not fine and absolutely all of us know this
Sweats so much as you both wait in line and just why are you going to do this to yourself and to him
“I-I guess if you are THAT afraid we can leave, Y/N”
“No, I want to try it at least once!”
Containing his breath until a gross spirit appears murdering people
Tenma doesn’t scream, the boy IS DESTROYING HIS THROAT
He doesn’t care if you are now okay with this. If he goes down, you are going down with him
“S-stop. Tenma stop grabbing me!”
“SHUT UP SHUT UP SHUT UP!! YOU KEEP MOVING Y/N OR WE ARE GOING TO GET KILLED!”
Never again

Tag yourself because I would SO be Tenma if this was real life.
Have a wonderful day! 💕
