Hi! First time asker here with a tma question I've been puzzling over for a while: How do you think Jon and Martin were able to leave the institute in 159 without blinding themselves, when that had been so clearly established as the only way out?

my guess would be the same way jon was able to take large amounts of time away from the institute in s3, which is to say, I don't know exactly how, but it probably had something to do with elias giving his consent even just within his own head and them intending to get some statements shipped up without a plan to stay away forever
