Baizhu x reader

This was the fourth time this week you had gotten hurt, being an adventurer it wasn't uncomon to come home with a few scratches and bruises, but you seemed to need medical help a lot.

To some it almost seemed like you got hurt on purpose just to see the handsome doctor residing in Liyue...in all reality you didn't have to get hurt to spend time with Baizhu, you and him had already been dating for quite a few years, you were just incredibly clumsy.

Now here you were slowly making your way to Bubu Pharmacy, to get your wounds taken care of, and mentally preparing yourself to get scolded by your Boyfriend once again. Just the other week you had sprained your right ankle and now you probably sprained your left one, because you just happened to trip over a branch and fell down a hill. Baizhu had told you several times to be careful and watch your step but you were distracted by a butterfly.

Once you had reached the front desk you were greeted by a small Zombie, Qiqi, she had been under the green haired doctor's care for a while now. She greeted you in a slow monotonous voice and told you to sit down while she went to get your lover, but not before telling you to be more careful next time...just like always. this has become a routine for the three of you. You would get hurt and drag yourself to the Pharmacy, Qiqi would greet you, tell you to be careful and Baizhu would treat you but not without scolding you but his tone is never malicous or mocking, it's always loving and soft. Once he was done treating you, he would kiss your bandaged wounds, careful not to hurt you, but strong enough to show you how worried he was. Somehow he was worried for your life while he had no care for his, treating his patients and absorbing their sickness to himself, he knew he wouldn't live long, he was quite distant to normal people, but you somehow made your way into his heart.

At first Baizhu wanted nothing more than for you to leave him be, but with each time he treated you, he warmed up a bit more to you. He couldn't escape your warm smile or the way your eyes glimmered in the sun. It took quite a bit of time and a lot of teasing from Changsheng for him to realize he had fallen in love with you. He strongly believed his pining for you was one-sided until one day you took all your courage and confessed your love for him. So for the last few years you had your routine with him and Qiqi and neither of you would want it any other way.

Waiting took longer than usual, maybe he was just with another Patient that needed urgent treatment or he was out collecting some herbs or maybe, just maybe he was taking a nap. Your flow of thoughs was interrupted by the green haired Doctor and his Snake. While the Snake was teasing your for being clumsy your lover was scolding your for being so careless, notheless he gathered some materials to fix you right up.  He softly kissed your forehead before outting you on bed rest for the next week, which meant no adventures for you, not like it really bothered you, you were happy as long as he and Qiqi were there but not being able to help with anything was what really bothered you, when you were on bedrest it really meant bedrest, no gathering herbs with Baizhu, no playing with Qiqi, he even refuses to let you cook something. You were about to say something but your lover sealed your lips with a kiss.

he won't judge you for not liking certain things, sure it's 1899, you are constantly on the run and food is already hard to come by but he won't judge

he will want you to at least try the food, except maybe if it's, in his opinion, uneatable

he will go out of his way to buy or hunt food you would actually eat, if you only dislike certain ingredients in your food, he is always willing to take them (and maybe sneak you some of the stuff you likeI)

he is the type of guy to be like "they asked for no pickles" just for you

you liked that one specific food only sold in that one specific town? no worries, Arthur is getting it for you

if anyone gives you shit for not liking specific food, he will step in for you

Charles Smith

is Charles gonna judge you for it? no. is he gonna be confused? a little, maybe. Will he get your favourite food for you? yes, absoloutley

he will go out of his way to hunt for you, if you don't like meat he will go to the nearest store and buy something you like

willing to take the stuff you don't eat of your plate and give some of his to you, no complaining about it and no at least wanting you to try it.

he is willing to cook something with you at the fire

if anyone judges you for being a picky eater, he will angrily glare at them (let's not resort to violence)

my sweet little silly, my little ugly <3, there is not much this poor boy can do for you

he is not allowed to leave camp, but he will ask (more like beg) someone who is allowed to leave to get you food that you like

he will comfort you if you feel like you are being to complicated.

he probaly also has his own issues with food, like texture, taste, smell, you name it. makes him feel ill, so he can relate to you

there's not much he can do if someone is giving you shit for being a picky eater, he very silently will make their life a little bit harder tho
