Tonight I celebrated my birthday with my sister. We went to St. George's Fall Festival in Fishers. Met some wonderful people. Had Falafel and homemade hummus with pita. To a tour of the church and my inner art geek came out. Traditional Greek iconographer who painted in egg tempra. My neck looked up the entire time and I'm sure I did not discover all the ceiling had to offer. Then finally a trip through the dessert line for bird's nest, s cookies, and pistachio baklava. Here's the deal. I l❤❤❤ve food and food loves me. Really loves me. Lives to stick on me and stick in me. I've chosen easy over food prep. I've chosen the awesome stuff you can't have everyday over the stuff I should have everyday and now I have a quest. Or rather an order (from my doc) 20-25lbs in 25 weeks or I get to go.back on metphormin for my sugar level and a statin for cholesterol. Yay me!!!
