STATUS: Master or Professor
SPECIES: Supernatural – otherwise up to player
➤ PERSONALITY
The man is an utterly deceptive and secretive character that likes to keep his friends close but his enemies closer. As such, he appears polite and well-composed, though often speaks ambiguously.
Upon arrival at the Institute, I imagine he will be mingling with the crowd quite a bit, establishing himself as an honorable man and worthwhile friend without sharing too much of himself. However, he is not violent or vicious without reason. For example, he would think much better to befriend the slaves and exploit them when necessary than to use them traditionally as the school would expect. At the same time he would show no care for those that won’t be of help to him at all. In other words, he is guided by reason not desires.
His ultimate goal? There are a number of options to choose from and are negotiable! I was thinking he can in the smallest sense attempt to take over the school to exert his power from there, aiming to turn the school into something bigger. In a bigger sense, he could try to find the solution to awaken an ancient monster, a demon, another bigger source of power of which he wants to learn here. Whether this source is real and dangerous or just a myth he happened to believe in is up to you!
➤ BACKGROUND
A friend of the family.
This is how Thalia remembered the man. He didn’t come often but was well known and respected enough that they kept her hidden away whenever he was there, let her serve them wine or food at best. For all she knew, this man somehow wasn’t worthy of her company.
Most of the character background is up to the player. What is important is that he is a powerful supernatural, one that Thalia’s family either is indebted to or one that wants to take advantage of her family (maybe he’s looking for an incubus/succubus or he needs information and credibility among others…).
➤ HOW ARE THE CHARACTERS CONNECTED?
Thalia doesn’t know the man very well and neither does he know her. His family gave him enough of an idea of how she was treated but that is all he knows.
➤ ANYTHING ELSE?
I imagine this to be a link for Thalia to her family that could reveal more about them and perhaps her real mother. In return, this could be as simple as him thinking she’s valuable because her family kept her locked away or more complex as in her making him believe that she is a succubus as well trapped at the Institute and bound by the collar.

Elizabeth appears as regal as her upbringing would suggest. And at times she can be. But she’s also strong-willed and very much her own woman. As comfortable in pants on a horse as she was in a ballgown, her beauty and pedigree appealed to Ciaran’s family, while her fierce intelligence and biting humor appealed to him.
➤ BACKGROUND
Elizabeth was born into a wealthy Irish family, so her background very much mirrors Ciaran’s. She was a high-bred lady of her time, but also outspoken and somewhat of a tomboy. At some point in her life she was turned into a supernatural. How this happened is entirely UTP. As she and Ciaran moved further into adulthood with no romantic prospects, their fathers engineered a meeting and ‘encouraged’ an engagement. The two were in their early twenties at the time, and it is preferred that Elizabeth were already a supernatural at that time, or not long after if that’s the case.
➤ HOW ARE THE CHARACTERS CONNECTED?
She is Ciaran’s ex-fiancé.
➤ ANYTHING ELSE?
Their engagement was broken off after maybe a year or two, but they remained close friends. Elizabeth always suspected that Ciaran was gay, and was nothing but supportive to him even though they were intimate before marriage. She was the one that he went to sometime after he was turned, and he was surprised to find her rather unchanged and maybe a little too understanding about his current state. They never met again after that.

Colette, like Grace, was considered a perfect lady of her time. Unlike Grace though, she was interested in what a young girl of her day was ‘supposed’ to be interested in. She excelled in embroidery, painting, and languages, and wished for nothing more than a home and family of her own. As much time has passed though, she could either still have the same demure personality, or could have changed through the years.

Colette grew up down the street from Grace in Albany, New York. She would have shared the same upper-class upbringing. Anything else would be UTP!

Colette and Grace were childhood best friends. They grew up together and attended finishing school and debuted at the same time. The two were inseparable until Grace ran away for the bright lights of NYC at sixteen.

Devon is a man who knows who he is and what he can do. He’s as serious as Evelyn about skating, and considers it his life’s passion. There’s a mischievous and at times bad-boy side to him as well. He and Landry would often team together to try and convince Evelyn to break the rules. This comes through in his skating, giving him an effortlessly cool style.
➤ BACKGROUND
It would make sense that he had a similarly privileged background like Evie. But this is entirely UTP, just please remember that he and Evie have trained together and known each other since childhood!
➤ HOW ARE THE CHARACTERS CONNECTED?
Like Landry, Devon is one of Evie’s best friends. They’ve trained closely together and have known each other nearly all their lives. Evie had started to possibly develop feelings for him, but how he thinks of her is of course entirely UTP.
➤ ANYTHING ELSE?
Devon and Evie decided to go off on their own and practice pair skating without any formal training. They were working on a routine that they planned to finally show their coaches when Evie had her accident.
