COOL OC!!!! DID YOU KNOW THAT BEFORE THE SMILER EVEN STARTED BEING BUILT, LIKE YEARS BEFORE PRODUCTION, THERE WAS OMINOUS ADVERTISING ALL OVER LONDON, THEY DIDNT GIVE A NAME OR EXPLANATION FOR THE WEIRD TWISTED SMILE SPRAY PAINTED AND PRINTED ALL OVER FOR YEARS!!!!

WHEN THE SMILER DID GO INTO PRODUCTION, EX. SKETCHES + DESIGNS FOR HOW THE RIDE WOULD ACTUALLY WORK, IT TOOK MONTHS, MAYBE EVEN ANOTHER YEAR IF I REMEMBER CORRECTLY. THE DESIGNERS WENT INTO THE PROJECT WITH THE INTENTION OF BREAKING THE WORLD RECORD FOR MOST LOOPS IN A ROLLERCOASTER, THEY BEAT THAT BY ABOUT 4-5 I THINK.

ONCE IT WAS OFFICIALLY MADE PHYSICALLY, THE SMILER OPENED AT ALTON TOWERS THEME PARK. BUT, BECAUSE THEY HAD SPENT YEARS SKETCHING AND FIGURING OUT HOW TO JAM AS MANY LOOPS INTO THE SMILER AS POSSIBLY, IT WAS JANKY AS FUCK!!!! IT WOULD STOP RUNNING/MALFUNCTION ALMOST WEEKLY!

SO IT WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION. A LOT.

ON ONE SHINEY SUMMERS DAY, A GROUP OF THEME PARK GOERS GET ON THE RIDE, EXCITED FOR THE EXPERIENCE, ONCE IN A LIFE TIME, YA’KNOW???

WELL

WHILE ASCENDING UP TO THE FIRST DROP, THE SMILER STOPPED, LEAVING EVERYONE SEATED COMPLETELY VERTICAL.

IT TOOK OVER A HALF HOUR TO GET EVERYONE DOWN SAFELY, BUT WAIT, IT GETS SO MUCH WORSE.

AFTER SENDING THE PEOPLE AWAY AND MAKING EVERYONE IN LINE AWARE THAT SOME MAINTENANCE WOULD BE HELD, A FEW MECHANICS FOR THE COASTER COME ALONG TO FIX IT UP

FUN FACT- THIS RIDE HAS FOUR CARTS THAT CAN BE IN USE AT A TIME, BUT AN EXTRA FIFTH CART ON BUSY DAYS

THAT CAME IN HANDY WHEN THE MECHANICS WANTED TO CHCK IF THE CART WOULD MAKE IT ALL THE WAY AROUND THE COASTER TRACKS. THE CART DID NOT MAKE IT THROUGH, IT HALTED RIGHT IN THE LOW POINT OF TWO LOOPS. UNFORTUNATELY, THEY DIDN’T TELL THE PERSON IN CHARGE THAT THEY SENT OUT AN EXTRA CART, LEAVING THE POOR PERSON IN CHARGE THINKING ALL FOUR CARTS HAD CAME BACK, UNAWARE OF THE FIFTH CART STILL STUCK ON THE RIDE.

REMEMBER THOSE FOLKS WHO WHERE ON THE RIDE WHEN IT STOPPED INITIALLY? WELL THE THEME PARK DID! LETTING THEM BE THE FIRST ONES BACK IN LINE+ BACK ON THE RIDE. A FEW PEOPLE WERE RIGHTFULLY NERVOUS AND DIDNT GO BACK ON, BIT THAT WAS ONLY ABOUT 2-4 PEOPLE

AFTER EVERYONE WAS LOADED BACK ON, THEY SENT THEM OFF!

UNTILL THE MOVING CART WITH ALL THE PEOPLE IN IT COLLIDED INTO THE CART STUCK BETWEEN THE TWO LOOPS

THEY CRASH TOGETHER AT TWENTY MILES PER HOUR, MAKING THE METAL CART CRUSH IN ON THE OCCUPENTS

ALL ELEVEN PEOPLE WERE INJURED AND NEEDED MEDICAL ATTENTION, FIVE OF WHICH WERE SERIOUSLY INJURED, AND TWO NEEDED LEG AMPUTATIONS

BOSSES OF THE THEME PARK WERE TOLD AT 1:57, EMERGENCY SERVICES WERE CALLED A WHOLE ELEVEN MINUTES AFTER THEY WERE TOLD, AT 2:08

AMBULANCES DIDNT EVEN ARRIVE UNTILL 2:35, FIRETRUCKS HADNT BEEN CALLED TILL 2:41

ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE RIDE WERE STUCK 25FT UP AT A 45 DEGREE ANGLE FOR FOUR AND A HALF HOURS BEFORE EMS COULD REMOVE EVERYONE FROM THE RIDE SAFELY

THERE WHERE NO DEATHS! BUT LOTS OF INJURIES AND TRAUMA <3

Introducing first!! Will Madden!! I'm currently working a lot on his story so I made this reference drawing!!

He's very silly and has a lot of odd little details if you care 😋😋

He's a newer character of mine, going with the story Will is from!

He puts a lot of work into his job! He's very proud! I don't know what much else to put heree,,, sooo random stuff about him!

He's a cat person but will totally tell anyone who asks that he's a dog person, just to try and appear more high energy

He has issues sleeping for a good amount of reasons, one being trying to fulfill due dates for his videos.

His favorite color is purple 🟣

Randy, my character, really enjoying fleshing out his character stuff more. Soo here's some stuff about his YouTuber channel! + A silly small drawing.

He's a gamer, so amazing sooo cool, he particularly does like first person shooters, horror games or skill based games, his favorite being rocket League, despite it being non of the above.

His little YouTube handle name thingy is Danryblues, his favorite color is not blue and it does sound sort of like a type of music but whatever. He just thought it sounded cool.

Charlie is from a story I started about a year or two now! His purple hair and yellow eyes are opposite a different character I have from the story, (haven't posted said other character) his story is unique yet also messy with plot holes, so I'll probably end up rewriting his stuff alot. I mean, only recently did I decide he was a writer 💀

Axel! Same story as Charlie, they're purposely complementary colors, actually Axel eyes are meant to be purple- I just, completely forgot to give him his eye color! Anyways, some things about him!

Light sensitive, and tends to get overwhelmed by new environments, when he gets overwhelmed it helps him to just hear somebody else talk.

Cannot stand dumb questions, or questions he decides are dumb, will insult somebody for asking him something stupid.

I wanna focus on writing so I'm just gonna say some more things about Will Madden and Randy on here

Will isn't very good with expressing his emotions (like, facial expressions n tone), as a result when he's talking to people, his tone will be very different from how he is feeling. A completely monotone almost annoyed look as he's talking to someone he enjoys being around, or just a simple raise of his eyebrows when receiving a gift.

Randy on the other hand is very expressive and acts like a kids channel YouTuber naturally. Very friendly, but tends to talk about himself a lot. Really proud I guess. But not like nice proud, like shoves it in your face sometimes proud.
