IMPORTANT UPDATES!!! It’s been a while since we’ve posted an update on Kyle’s gofundme here on Instagram. For those who forgot or don’t know one of our movement admins was struggling financially due to having a disability and not being able to work due to physical limitations. He and his wife got into debt after helping someone else out themselves so we decided to make a gofundme. Recently thanks to donations via his PayPal and the gofundme we’ve been able to lower the goal as there’s only a little bit left that’s needed in order to clear the debt completely. Continue to donate and share the gofundme if you can and we appreciate all the donations so far. If you want to donate the link to Kyle’s PayPal and gofundme is on our beacons page in our Instagram bio. Also stay tuned because an episode of our podcast Nostalgically Yours will be out soon. We are so sorry uploads have not been consistent. Our co host Jenn AKA Deepvoice has been very busy so interviewing has stopped for the time being and some of us are also busy as well. In the meantime we’ll work on getting out what we can and will let you know when we go on a longer hiatus as we still have some content to work on and release in the meantime. The episode coming out is very good though as it talks more in depth about our movement and what we want to see for a sixth season and beyond. So after the feedback we’ve gotten from both here and the Shortaki Movement Facebook group we decided to stop watch parties unless it’s something Hey Arnold related. If we ever do watch Hey Arnold again we will let you know. The majority of people just seem to want to keep things Hey Arnold related. It’s completely understandable since we are a movement fighting for more Hey Arnold content after all. That being said in the Nostalgia Network Facebook group we will be bringing back watch parties eventually when there’s enough interest again so we suggest joining that group to stay in the loop for when we bring them back. It was great teaming with The Nostalgia Network to do the Hey Arnold watch parties and I’m sure we’ll do it again sometime. Especially since some of us admins in the Shortaki movement also admin Nostalgia Network. We have also switched to Beacon and deleted our linktree. Beacon gives you more customization options and also lets you explain more what your links are for. All the links are clickable so it works the same as our linktree and our beacon link is in our Instagram bio. IMPORTANT POST! So the other admins of the Shortaki movement and Nostalgia Network and I have been talking and we were wondering if we should stop group watch parties for now. When we did Danny Phantom which won in the last poll of what everyone voted on watching from week to week there was only two people who showed up every time not including the host. While we don’t mind that we are wondering if group watch parties are even worth doing still since hardly anyone showed. There would be interest via the polls on doing other watch parties since we finished Hey Arnold a while back but then when we started up Danny phantom we only had two people every week. With that said does everyone want to continue group watch parties with other shows? If so what day would you want it on with a choice of either Friday’s or Saturday’s since weekends work best for us admins to host and for the groups as a whole. If there is still a lot of interest I have saved all the show suggestions I’ve gotten as to what we’ll watch next and I’ll make a poll with the suggestions and we’ll watch whatever wins. If we do have a lot of interest and then a show wins and it comes time to host and hardly no one shows up we’ll stop watch parties. To be clear we wouldn’t stop them forever and would start back up if more interest is shown down the road and to our regulars we do have smaller private watch parties we do also on Kosmi but in another room on the site so you can always DM if your interested in joining those as we have a messenger chat we communicate in for those. Now that we’ve watched all of Danny Phantom what should we watch next for our watch parties?Comment suggestions down below and later on I’ll make a poll. Keep in mind the shows you suggest have to be on a streaming service one of the admins of the groups have as Kosmi works by screen sharing. So far we have already watched Hey Arnold and Danny phantom. Shows suggested so far include Kim possible Recess Avatar The Last Airbender Braceface Doug The Wild Thornberry’s I will leave the post up and take suggestions for a week.
