What do you think says the most about a person?

From my experience in having to quickly judge the people I talk to due to my job, I'd say how they act with different other people and their choice for words.

But I'm not and even if I was, I wouldn't be able to talk or think, I would be a cookie =)

Are you more of a dog person or a cat person?

A cat person all the way. My dream is to retire with 2 or 3 cats and be the old lady with cats because someone has to assume this role and I volunteer as tribute.

Earbuds, headphones block way too much noise and I want to be aware of my surroundings even if I blast music in my ears.

What’s a weird fact that you know?

Lana del Rey and Lady Gaga used to perform at the same bar but Lady Gaga got remarked first and so Lana held a grudge for a while and wrote some diss songs for Gaga because of this (not really fact, I just didn't saw people talking about this, it's like a small and hidden piece of lore)

Black with hints of my former red hair and natural dark brown color because I refuse to dye my hair black again (not that it doesn't look good, I just want to return to my natural one)

Some things I learned this past year

Don’t wait for someone else to have a good time. Go to that concert, film, event, restaurant, whatever by yourself (as long as you are safe!)

Get that shitty haircut. Maybe you’ll learn to love hats. But in all seriousness, it’s okay to experiment and see what works best for you.

If some people (especially your parents) question or criticize you, chances are you’re doing something right (ofc there’s nuance to this; once again, be safe! Some people are genuinely looking out for you, while others are close-minded and care too much about what society thinks.)

You don’t have to be the best at what you do. You can’t be the best anyway unless you try in the first place.

Growth isn’t linear. You will experience setbacks. Give yourself grace and patience.

Your worth is not defined by your relationships or lack thereof. It’s normal to want strong connections and a community where you belong. But you’re not “less than” if you haven’t found those yet.

Reading (especially fanfiction) is fun.

You have something to offer. Your mere presence is one of them.

forgive me for being this dark. but all these people saying Taylor Swift is too perfect and too privileged to suffer would have pitied her and championed her as an underdog if she had successfully killed herself like she said she wanted to over and over on TTPD.

Movies would have been made about the last few years leading up to her death, they’d make theories about whose fault it REALLY is, they’d shame and scold each other for how they treated her, comparing her to Marilyn Monroe and Whitney Houston and Amy Winehouse. And she would be dead just the same. And they would learn nothing.

They’re playing Drown The Witch. If she lives, her life isn’t that bad. If she dies, oh my god, she was suffering, we should’ve known.

The Tortured Poets Department is a great reminder that women don't owe the world pretty. Taylor Swift doesn't owe anyone an easily digestible pretty pop album wrapped in a bow with short songs you can make TikToks to. She's allowed to present something raw, uncomfortable, and vulnerable to the world.

I was someone who felt very uncomfy about Taylor's relationship with Matty for so many reasons, but this album has explained that entire period of her life SO well that I feel like I understand her as a person now more than I ever have before. And perhaps has taught us all to give her a bit more grace.

Here's a couple of tortured old poets about to board an early flight to be pop stars for a day. Been through a lot with this dude over the years, but safe to say this was a most memorable day.
