"My name is Mirjana. I've experienced visions of the Virgin Mary for more than 35 years. I cannot say it more directly than that.
I understand that it might be difficult to imagine such a thing happening in modern times. Even to some believers, miracles are things of the past.
But I doubt that anyone was more shocked than I was when it all began. I did not even know such things could take place, especially in Medjugorje, a small village in former Yugoslavia. You should know that I've been tested by doctors and scientists from all over the world, and they all agree on one thing: I am perfectly normal. I have that in writing. So, before you question my mental health, with a smile on my face I simply ask: Do you have an official document validating your sanity?
I did not write this to persuade you to believe me. I am just a messenger, and I wish to share my story with the hope that it might bring comfort to a world in which peace is becoming increasingly scarce.
Saying that my life changed on the afternoon of June 24, 1981 hardly conveys the gravity of what transpired.
Until that day, I lived under the heavy hand of communism and stomached the many aggravations that went along with it, but the worse suffering began after I and five other children experienced something extraordinary.
What we saw radically changed us, our families and millions of people around the world, but it also provoked the wrath of the Yugoslav regime. Fearing that my testimony was a threat to their rule, the communists declared me an enemy of the state when I was just 16 years old.
Perhaps their fears were warranted, because I had come to know something far greater than the communist government - far greater, in fact, that anything on Earth..
I had come to know God's love."
This is the Introduction to the book; My Heart Will Triumph by Mirijana Soldo.
So many countless stories and miracles have come from this place of Apparitions. The stories of conversion and healing abound, yet this powerful and hopeful story still seems hidden from the world. So many people judge at first glance without taking a moment to really see what is happening, thereby missing a great grace from God.
Despite the page-turning account of the hardships Mirjana endured, this book is so hopeful. As Mirjana describes her life, she explains how each painful and joyful event helps her to see and understand God's love more deeply and, therefore accept His plan for her. The reader is invited to reflect on their own path and see how their own life events are God calling us to surrender everything to his loving care.
After her Apparations with Our Lady ends, Mirjana describes how painful it is. Coming 'back to earth' after being in heaven during the visions, is almost unbearable for her. In her book, she transports you there, and in your heart, you will know and feel the great and deeply personal love God is trying to convey to ALL people through the Queen of Peace.

Friends, today is Friday, a day dedicated to Jesus. Besides having a devotion to the Divine Mercy, it is good to have a devotion to the hidden Wound of Jesus which He had on His shoulder as He carried His Cross. Please do your best to spread the devotion.
PRAYER TO THE SHOULDER WOUND OF OUR LORD JESUS
O lovable Jesus,
gentle Lamb of God,
in spite of the fact that
I am a sinful, wretched creature,
I adore You
and worship the Wound
caused by the heavy weight of Your Cross,
that burst open Your skin,
uncovered the bones of Your Sacred Shoulder
and on which Your sorrowing Mother Mary
so much sympathized with.
I as well, dear Jesus,
also sympathize with You,
and from the bottom of my heart,
I glorify You,
and thank You
for this painful wound
to Your shoulder
on which You carried your Cross
for my salvation.
Ah! for all the sufferings
You deeply experienced
that increased the enormous weight
of Your Cross, I humbly request,

Medjugorje 1991 Miracle
In 1991, a group of pilgrims from Michigan traveled to Medjugorje, Yugoslavia and witnessed a miracle on apparition hill. The body of Jesus on the large aluminum cross came to life and those present could see the His human body moving in agony. Mike of Traverse City, MI, explained that the miracle took place as the group was praying the rosary in various languages, Mary the mother of God appeared to the visionaries, after the apparition the miracle occurred. This film was taken by an amateur in the group, but another photographer with a telephoto lens viewing the miracle said he could see the sweat, blood, and agony while he watched through his camera. The group was positioned about 30 feet from the cross. The image of Jesus is about 12-18 inches in size. Present at the time were around 1000 people and all witnessed the event as noted by their gasps in the video. Mike also shared how the faith of those who witnessed the event were visibly shaken and other accounts: the links of a fellow pilgrim’s rosary turned to gold and another witnessed the miracle of the sun. “To one who has faith, no explanation is necessary. To one without faith, no explanation is possible” (St. Thomas Aquinas).
