hii, how often do you think ppl should have a metab day? Is it based on their cw?
It’s more based off of how many c@ls you eat, what kind of foods you eat and how your body works. Though most people do it every week you should try r3str1ct until you notice your metabolism slowing down, and then do meta days based off of how long it took.

Does anyone else here love cooking? It is something I love sm but I honestly barely cook anymore because I love the food I make and I’m scared I’ll eat too much if I cook so I just…don’t. I really wanted to be a chef for a long time but I kind of just gave up on that because of r3stric1ng and it makes me feel like I’m losing myself.

how do you track the calories you’ve burnt ?
A lot of gym equipment’s tell you how many you’ve burnt but if you’re not using a machine you just have to Google it. Like make sure you remember exactly how much of each workout you did and then Google how many c@ls the workout burns for that amount, it’s a pretty boring and annoying process tbh. If you want to make it easier you can get a fitness app, it gives you a routine and also tells you how much each routine burns, there are also YouTube videos that do the same.

what is a meta/metab day? i keep seeing people use this term but i cant really figure out what it is
If you don’t eat enough your metabolism starts to slow down because your body notices the lack of food and lowers your metabolic rate (you’ll notice it slowed down if you barely 💩). You don’t want a slow metabolism because that means less c@ls are being burnt and instead get stored as fat, so, to quicken your metabolism you can take a meta day.
Think of metabolism like fire, the more you feed it the bigger it gets, so on a meta day you eat more c@ls than usual, it depends on how much you r3str1ct but most meta days are 1200-1500 c@ls. During a meta day you should try eat protein and fibre if you want the most efficient results.

tips for combating headaches, nausea, and low energy?
Honestly I sleep so much throughout the day and that is the only thing that gets me through. When I have to go do something and I just feel too weak and low on energy I chug coke no sugar/water till I feel full, I know that’s not the best advice but it’s the only thing I do.

You’re right! Foods like bread, pasta, potatoes, rice, bakery products… they’re all carbs. Some carbs are low GI and some are high GI, high GI are the ones you want to avoid. I added a picture below, 50-100 is considered high GI

I’ve a vacation with school in 3 weeks and I know I’ll feel insecure in a bikini. What can I do to lose as much weight as possible and how much do you think I could lose? (My bmi is 23😭😭)
Everyone loses we1ght at different speeds so it’s hard for me to decide when I don’t know your we1ght loss history, if I had to estimate tho I’d say 3-4kgs, it could be more depending on how many c@lories you usually eat since a dramatic deficit would rlly make a difference.
These are all my tips that I think will help the most.
-try cut out sugar, if you can’t cut it out completely atleast try one week prior because it makes a difference.
-if you’re willing to work out deff opt for cardio, I recommend going for a run or a walk.
-count ur c@lories, once you know how many you intake it’ll help when deciding how long you should workout to burn it off. Also have a c@L limit for each day, I recommend under 1000 but again it depends on how many you usually eat.
-what you eat makes a difference, try eating protein, fibre and vegetables rather than carbs or fats.
-if you stick through then your metabolism will most likely slow down, if you start maintaining for a few days then take a metab day. Also eating fibre and protein will help prevent it from slowing down.
-try drink a lot of water, I used to drink 4l a day and I can confirm it worked wonders and also helped decrease my appetite and made me too full to eat, 4l is a bit much tho and made me go toilet every second so you can try 2l, whatever works for you.
-3 weeks is a short amount of time so try make the most of it, if you need motivation to not give up or b1nge I can make another post for that <3
