Update: It’s become clear little chance exists I’ll be continuing this blog. So here’s what I remember of my plans for the T7S!sims.
Jackie and Hyde would’ve become vampires -- temporarily -- just out of curiosity. One of them would have turned the other, having been the curious one.
Hyde’s band would’ve tried to have become as famous as possible.
Eric and Donna would’ve gotten married and moved out to make room for ...
Brooke to move in because ...
Kelso would’ve become pregnant with an alien baby. He, Brooke, Jackie, Hyde, and Fez all would’ve helped raising his kid.
Fez and Rhonda, I hope, would’ve ended up together. But their relationship was a rocky one, especially since she was engaged to someone else.
I have no idea where Leo would’ve ended up. That he’d become Rhonda’s roommate in the game (IIRC) by happenstance was a cool coincidence. If I remember incorrectly, then it would’ve been cool, lol.
I might have switched back and forth between households: the main household, described above, and Eric/Donna’s household with the addition of two kids and Red and Kitty (of course, I likely would’ve had to use cheats to make sure Kitty and Red were recognized as Eric’s parents, but no prob there).
I had plans to install the Futures expansion back and have Kelso explore different versions of the future and maybe try to make changes in the present to prevent a dystopia.
Yeah, it’s a lot. It would’ve been fun to do (and if I could pause time except for myself -- and my aging would stop, too, ‘cause I’d be a few years older by the end of this), I would absolutely do it). I hope you’ve enjoyed the T7S!sims story that I was able to chronicle. Thank you for following it! <3

Hiatus
I haven’t had the time to write new posts or play the game lately. My creative free time is all going to my next T7S fanfic.
I’m not sure when I’ll make new posts. But if I see that I can’t maintain this blog on a regular basis anymore, I’ll write up what I’d planned to do with Those ‘70s Sims.

186. “My Face Is So Big!”
Jackie is promoted to Yes-Woman. She hates the position. She’s never been anyone’s lackey, but being on the cheer squad taught her how to suck up to girls more popular than her in order to usurp their popularity. Politics is no different.
Kelso boogies down at the Brightmore. He’s just achieved superstar status in Bridgeport. That means getting way more free stuff!
Brooke stares at him from a different part of the club. He’s dancing like a three-year-old, but she finds that amusing.
Fez finishes his portrait of Jackie. He painted her features in such a way to suggest her massive ego.
Jackie studies the painting. “My face is so big,” she says. “I love it!” And no other Yes-Woman has a genuine Fez portrait of her own face. Jackie’s going to carry this portrait around with her, to remind her of where she’s going.

185. Who Are You?
Donna’s first novel is a flop. She’s flabbergasted. Eric, who once wrote, “And he never saw that crazy bitch again,” as the ending to a story, has written several hits. Maybe her heart just isn’t into being an author anymore.
During their date, Fez and Rhonda talk about all sorts of subjects. Fez tells her that he wants to learn how to ice sculpt.
“I’d love if you sculpted me in ice someday,” she says and holds his hands. This should feel good, but he just feels weird. “But I have to get to work,” she says. “Other people are starting to show up to the festival.”
They hug each other goodbye, and she asks if they can see each other again.
“I don’t know,” Fez says. “I don’t want to be the other man.”
“You’re not. You’ll be my also man.”
Fez gives her a half-nod, half-shake-of-the-head. He wonders if she’s truly Rhonda or a very good facsimile.
She rolls her eyes. He’d said that out loud. She’s Rhonda, the real Rhonda. If he’s not interested in who she is now, she’ll move on.
“No, I’m interested!” Fez says, cursing his heart as he does.

184. Openness Should Be a Good Thing
Rhonda asks Fez on a date. She’s working the Spooky Day Festival as a merchant, and -- curious -- he meets her there.
“Hello, Rhonda,” Fez says dramatically.
Rhonda faces him. She’s glad he’s here. When he styled her engagement wardrobe and tried to kiss her, she realized she couldn’t stay faithful to Buster. She loves her husband, but she also loves her freedom.
Buster had no problem with her open-marriage idea. He’s a modern day vampire. As long as they come home to each other, he said, they’re good.
“So tell me about Rhonda,” Fez says. He needs to understand her romantic situation.
But she talks about art instead and how she’s heard Fez is an amazing painter.
“I don’t want to brag,” Fez says, “but I am an amazing painter. I’d like to paint you naked.”
“You want to paint me while I’m naked or paint me while you’re naked?”
“Same difference.”
Fez asks her for a kiss. If she kisses him, then he’ll know their love is true and she’ll dump her husband.
“I can’t,” she says. “I love Buster.”
“Do you love me?”
“I might.”
‘Ai ... what do you want me to do?” he says.
“Go slowly. I’m not sure how this whole open marriage thing works.”
“I can tell you one thing: don’t ask any of my friends on dates.”
She blushes. “Okay, I admit I’ve had a tiny crush on Hyde since I first saw him in town.”
“You’ve asked him on a dozen dates!”
“And he’s said no a dozen times. But I’m not the kind of woman who gives up,” she says. “And you’re not the kind of man who does, either. That’s one of the reasons I like you so much.”
Now Fez blushes, but not from her flattery. Bridgeport has changed Rhonda. He’s not sure who she is anymore.

183. Eric Is, Like, Totally Mature
Fez begins painting his portrait of Jackie. She micromanages every stroke, however, and he shoos her away.
He memorized Jackie’s face long ago. He can paint it from memory.
It’s Spooky Day, and Eric’s been invited to a costume party.
He talks to Jupiter Belle, who thinks Eric’s costume is silly.
Jupiter: What are you, a zebra?
Eric: White tiger.
Jupiter: I think you’re a zebra.
Eric: Well, I think you’re a ...
He doesn’t finish his sentence. He’s never been fond of kids, but he can’t start a fight with an eleven-year-old. He’s a grown man, wearing an animal costume.
At home, Kelso and Brooke plan to celebrate Spooky Day by taking off their societal costumes (i.e. clothes).
Okay, that’s more Kelso’s plan than Brooke’s, but she’s into him.
He gives her a massage while Fez sleeps nearby. Kelso thinks Fez might enjoy watching, but Kelso’s supposed to have grown beyond that kind of thing. So he lets Fez continue to dream about trash -- which Kelso knows because of the thought bubble above Fez’s head.
Yeah, he can see it.

182. She’s Jackie Burkhart
Eric and Jackie debate politics. Eric’s worried if Jackie gets any real power in this town, she’ll ban most of the things he loves, like Star Wars and comic books and himself.
“Don’t be ridiculous,” she says. “I’ve got much bigger plans for Bridgeport than ruining your life. Besides, we’re friends now, aren’t we? So as long as you don’t annoy me, you have nothing to worry about.”
“Jackie,” he says, “I think I love you.”
“What did I just tell you about annoying me, Eric?”
“Sorry.”
While Eric contemplates his life choices, Jackie asks Fez to paint a portrait of her. She’ll need it when she inevitably becomes mayor of Bridgeport. Because it will happen. She’s Jackie Burkhart.

181. Strange Conversations
Hyde receives an unexpected phone call from Rhonda. Apparently, her marriage is going to be an open one, and she wants to know if Hyde will go on a date with her. He declines.
Hyde tries to tell Fez the news, but he’s too wrapped up in telling Eric why the Mona Lisa is a work of art.
To entertain himself, Hyde asks Kelso what he thinks the computers of the future will be like.
Kelso: They’ll be so small you’ll need a pair of tweezers to use the keyboard.
Hyde: Okay, but what’ll they be able to do, man? Can they predict people like me breakin’ into homes days before it happens and tell the cops what to expect?
Hyde: ‘Cause that’s a society I really wanna live in.
Kelso: Really?
Hyde: Really really really, man.
Kelso: Why? That doesn’t sound like you at all. You don’t even like your friends knowing what you had for breakfast. You frogged me once for asking what you were reading in the paper!
Hyde: Here’s the deal. If we live in that kind of totalitarian watchdog state, then I can freakin’ burn it down.
Kelso: Ooh, I love burning things!
Hyde: Exactly. It’ll bring us closer.
Kelso: Been a long time since we’ve done something cool together. I can’t wait ‘til we get to the future!

180. “Yo, Steven!”
Jackie talks about her new job at breakfast, saying that some people need to learn how to check boxes correctly. So many people make marks that are illegible.
“You think you’ve got problems,” Eric says. “I haven’t slept in the same bed with my girlfriend since we moved to this town.”
“Oh, quit complaining, Eric,” Jackie says. “I’ve got to sleep in the same bed as my boyfriend with you sleeping in the next bed over. That’s way worse.”
Fez whines about life to Jackie autonomously in the bathroom. It doesn’t seem to bother her, though. Her mind is on her music.
Fez successfully styles another client, earning him the title of Fashion Phenomenon. He’s reached the top of his career but not the top of his creativity. He’s renowned for the best blowouts, fantastic fittings, and marvelous makeovers. People travel from the far corners of the world to seek out his help making them look glamorous.
Jackie doesn’t have to worry about dealing with smudged ballots anymore. She’s promoted to Campaign Intern.
She imitates the stair climb from Rocky (but in reverse) in her happiness. She’s going to be a contender ... and she has no idea that she’s mixing her boxing movies.

179. Don’t Sell Your Soul for Chocolate Cake
Donna finally decides to sit down and write a novel, to learn if being an author is still her passion.
She intends to write a thrilling drama about love and loss, but she ends up exploring what happens when a couple chooses to share a tiny house with four childhood friends. It’s a horror story.
Jackie’s drumkit got struck by lightning.
Jackie shells out the dough to replace it.
Fez and Donna both become superstars. They’re as famous as anyone can be in Bridgeport.
Eric thinks they should move into a bigger house now and says so, but Donna says, “No! I’m using our living situation to write my book.”
Eric: You’re writing a book?
Donna: Yes. It’s a horror story.
Eric: You mean autobiography?
Donna: Basically.
Fez: You two don’t know what horror is. I had to style Rhonda’s engagement wardrobe to someone who isn’t me! And then I tried to kiss her, and she told me I haven’t changed. That’s a horror show.
Donna: Wow, Fez, I didn’t know. ... Can I use that in my book?
Fez: If you buy me a chocolate cake.
Donna: Done.
Fez: And you name your book after me.
Donna: No.
Fez: The chocolate cake will be fine.

178. The Most Trusted Man in Town
At the Grind, Kelso slaps Titus Lin for no apparent reason (this was an autonomous choice Sim!Kelso made).
But Kelso apologizes shortly afterward and buys Titus a drink. Titus accepts both.
Eric is promoted to Star News Anchor. He’s reached the top of the journalism career, and he’s the most trusted person in town. His mom would be so proud. His dad, though, would laugh in disbelief.
Jackie earns a promotion, too, to Ballot Counter. Instead of seeing podiums everywhere, she’ll see small slips of paper with checkboxes.
Eric has a drink at Plasma 501 to celebrate his success, and he finds himself intrigued by the life of a mixologist, whose only responsibilities are to make a good drink and put on a small show while doing so -- and, sometimes, to listen to people’s sorrows.
He considers writing an article about the job ... or becoming a mixologist himself. He just fell into becoming a journalist, and now that he’s the most trusted man in town, he fears life will become boring.

177. Will Hyde Become Mr. Jackie Burkhart?
Fez is hired by a woman named Heidi Burkhart to style her. Her name freaks him out. Heidi Burkhart? As in Hyde and Jackie Burkhart? He wonders if she’s a descendant of Jackie and Hyde’s from the future -- and if Hyde will take Jackie’s last name when they get married.
Buster Round, Rhonda’s fiancée, is Heidi’s roommate. Awkward. Fez hopes Buster isn’t trying to mess with him somehow.
At home, Jackie and Hyde play chess.
Hyde: How’s the podium polishing going?
Jackie: No podiums are shinier than my podiums.
Hyde: Don’t doubt it.
Jackie: But I’m polishing so many each day that everything and everyone’s starting to look like podiums to me. Like those chess pieces: tiny podiums.
Hyde: What about the queen and king?
Jackie: Podiums with crowns. Your forehead’s looking a little dull. Let me get the Lemon Pledge--
Hyde: Yeah, let’s hope you get promoted soon.

176. Looking for Love in All the Wrong People
Fez gives Donna fashion advice and puts her in a nightgown for sleeping. She likes the gown, but she suggests that he take his own advice and give the same to Kelso -- so that she won’t have to see them in their underwear anymore.
Fez: But I get hot when I sleep.
Donna: So? Just put on some pants when you get out of bed.
Fez: But I get hot when I’m out of bed.
Donna: Forget it.
Fez: I will.
Donna: Good.
Fez: What is?
Donna: God, it’s like living with Casey sometimes.
Fez isn’t sure if he’s been insulted or complimented. He chooses to believe the latter.
At the salon, Fez tries to get reacquainted with Caroline properly. Just because one ex-girlfriend is off-limits doesn’t mean he shouldn’t give another a chance.
But he learns that she’s a hopeless romantic and in a relationship with a guy named Wayne. Time to move on again.
Fez introduces himself to Elvira Slayer, a vampire. They’re instantly attracted to each other, but Fez is nervous. He’s never dated someone whose bite could turn him into the undead.
Jackie receives her first paycheck as a podium polisher ... and it’s for a very tiny amount. It’s shocking compared to what she’d been paid in her previous career, but she wasn’t happy in business. She’d become bored and stressed with all the meetings she had to hold, and she wasn’t fulfilled.
Doing menial, manual labor was never on her wish list, but she sees the bigger picture. For every podium she polishes, it’s another future constituent she’ll be able to relate to. She’s never been a woman of the people like her friends, but she can learn.

175. The Floor Is Lava!
Leo’s house is on fire. He tripped over his lava lamp in his sleep. It broke, but he sleep-walked right out of his house. His vampire roommate, Katrina Pala, did not unfortunately -- or fortunately, considering she called the firehouse.
Hyde breaks down the door and gets to work.
But his mind is on Jackie, who’s just switched careers from business to politics. He fully supports her decision. Yeah, they’ll miss her paycheck as a power broker, but now she’ll have some real influence on this town.
And she won’t make the same mistakes as her dad. Bribes, taking them or giving them, is not happening. Hyde’s old boss, the Leader, is sure to try to give his “encouragement” if Jackie works her way to a high position. But Hyde saved a few key items of evidence from the warehouse, in case the Leader ever tried to pull anything on him or his family.
Leverage is currency.
After rescuing Katrina, Hyde is promoted to Backdraft Specialist.
He receives his Aegis Medal from City Hall ...
And finds Jackie’s new boss, Jeffery Cook, on the street. He tries to befriend Jeffery by talking about fighting fires in the city.
Jeffery, though, seems distracted by the lady to their right.
Hyde keeps on, though. This time, talking about music. He wants to get a read on the guy, to make sure he’s not the type who’d drag Jackie into any dangerous political intrigues.
By the end of the conversation, all Hyde knows is Jeffery’s eyes lack the coldness of the Leader’s. That’s a good start.

174. A Step -- or a Hundred -- Down from the Top
Jackie goes to her place of work ...
And quits as her job as a power broker.
Jackie visits City Hall ...
And enters the world of politics. She’s an expert in schmoozing, making tough decisions, and working in a high-stress environment, thanks to her career in business. Switching into politics shouldn’t be too big a shock.
She expects to start at a high level, but the only position available is that of a podium polisher for other people’s dramatic speeches. Working her way from the bottom is going to suck, but she’s talented and skilled and determined. She’s sure she’ll rise through the ranks quickly. Then she’ll be able to have some real power in Bridgeport and protect its citizens, including -- and especially -- the people she loves.
