I don't think TophAbe not being canon (in one way or another) is really that big of a deal? It was just a headcanon ship that got very popularized, because every fandom has to have their favorite gay guy ship.

Sure, it'd of been nice to have it be a thing that happens, one-sided or not. Despite that though, I don't think anyone should be taking it so harshly that it appears to not be the case.

Enjoy the show for what it is: a parody-mockery of teen dramas. The trailer was fun, it's a fun show, don't watch something just for a ship. Please enjoy the other aspects, you will have a good time trust me!

I certainly did, I am excited beyond belief. I know that as a TophAbe centered account, everyone expects my favorite moments from it to be centered around those two, however I am actually very excited for whatever Joan and Confucius are up to!

Actually, even more is I am thrilled to see Harriet's new romance plot, if what we saw were to be the case. Glad to see more focus on storylines other than JoanAbe, though I love those two a lot.

What can I say, I'm a multishipper. I have no qualms with the trailer, every aspect had me excited. Especially since KahloPatra seems to be going strong. Nothing will break them, you hear me!

Also, don't think I didn't notice this in the poster. You cheeky dogs, they did this just for me. Even though I am known as tophabes on Tumblr, TophJoan (JoanPher? TBD) is a guilty pleasure of mine. I wanted to write something for them months ago, but I do have other stuff to finish first unfortunately.

Thank you all for waiting ever so patiently for the delayed update for 'feelings would complicate this', chapter fourteen!

This is the last installment for the FWCT Friday updates, any further chapters will be coming out at random dates once more. I'll be sure to try and do them quicker than I have been lately, though.

My hiatus has given me a lot of time to think, and I decided it wouldn't be fair for the normal fans of Clone High to not get to experience reading as many stories as they'd like just because some weird fans ruined it for them.

So I definitely will be finishing this one!

Hello everyone.

Terrible news, the file for chapter fourteen of 'feelings would complicate this' somehow got corrupted.

Every single line of text is unsalvageable. I have tried everything I could to somehow acquire previous versions, but to no avail.

This means I am going to have to re-write it all over again, which could take me all day. I'll admit, I'm a tad bit miffed over this. I had this chapter saved and ready to upload when it was time for it to be, and now I doubt it will.

I was excited to end the year off with the final 'FWCT Friday' update, but I fear in order to keep the fun word play going, everyone may have to wait until next Friday for chapter fourteen.

This isn't set in stone for sure, I could always finish re-writing what I've lost quick enough to post for this Friday, but if not then that will be the plan going forward.

Very sorry for this turn of events, I will keep you all posted.

Wow, it's been a while.

Hello everyone, I hope you all have been doing well.

I've noticed the fandom has dwindled yet again, as it always does every so few years. I doubt there is much call for myself or TophAbe nowadays.

Despite that, I'd like to apologize for disappearing for so long without a word.

There was always a plan to finish FWCT, and I am determined to stick that through. I hope however many little fans that have stuck around for these characters will still be willing to see the completion of it through.

I plan on coming back very soon, with multiple updates that will be coming out on a schedule. Exciting, I know.

Stay tuned if you are interested, or don't, to be frank the fandom regarding TophAbe started to disgust me long before my hiatus.

For those who are normal, well-adjusted people however, I look forward to seeing you around once more.

Yes, it is definitely okay to draw art for my stories! I always put it in my chapter notes, but fanart is always appreciated.

The best way to get me to view the fanart is by either tagging it with the fics acronym (fwct, iwbh, etc..) or to tag me on here! I don't mind, and if you'd rather not do either of these that's alright too.

I do love to reblog fanart inspired by my writing though, so hopefully that's alright!

We didn’t notice when chapter 10 released but the six of us read both the new chapters with the Tophabe playlist in the background and it was so incredible. Honestly we loved it so much and the longer wait only made it better. We hope you are having a nice time and that people are being better in the asks
