Like-

Headcanon that branch cannot feel emotions at there complete strength that easily due to being emotionally gray for so long, so when he does show up at poppy's pod crying she knows that he needs comforting big time which would then lead to some rather fluffy writing material. On the other hand poppy was brought up to express her emotions intensely- but thats just like joy and happyness . She feels this compulsion to be happy all the time to not worry her subjects that she just bottles everything up until she just breaks down , but que branch being the best brother ever afterwards

Hherhfhfddfds yes,,, Poppy and Branch are SUCH good siblings, I genuinely wish the series had gone that route for them instead because in my eyes their relationship is just so much more genuine in a platonic context.

They became each other's everything after going through all those hard times together, and they've come to known each other far more than their close friends or siblings ever could. Poppy saved Branch, and Branch taught Poppy how to be more emotionally mature, and that it's okay to not be happy all the time. They needed each other to grow, and now Branch is gonna be there to keep supporting his sister in her role as queen, and Poppy will be there to support Branch in his own endeavors, whatever they may be.

So I would very much like to see what the brothers' reaction to Branch just... being Branch. Just casually being one of the most beloved trolls in all the major tribes and even a few lesser known ones (K-Pop Gang and Reggaeton Trio). Like, he's dating a Techno Prince, his adopted sister is the Queen of Pop, if you look at them you can clearly see that Delta Dawn seems to treat Branch like a son, one of his best friends is the long lost prince of the Funks and the other prince seems close to him (he literally sings a whole duet with him in the end credits, something he's only ever done with Poppy at that point), he's been seen jsut casually hanging out with the King of Bergans... has basically taking on the role of an Ambassador, City Protector, Advisor, and King at some point all at once while hsut trying to help Poppy...

Like, Branch has a LOT of connections and is probably a much more powerful political figure than he even realizes because he spent 20 years in isolation snd doesn't understand social cues and that, canonically, somehow makes him even more endearing to everyone else!

Going back to answer some trolls asks bc I've been pondering them recently and GOD. YOU ARE SO RIGHT.

My Branch fascinates me because he loses so much at the start and is CONVINCED his life will be nothing but suffering, and in a matter of like just a couple years he has two new sisters, he can comfortably sing again, he has ALL of his brothers back, AND he has a boyfriend??? Past Branch would not BELIEVE how far he's come.

Been trying to make my trollsona for a while now but I keep flip-flopping on what I want them to be. The only thing I *do* know is that I want them to have been raised in the country village bc I grew up listening to almost exclusively country music, and I think a lot of my songs fall into the pop category so I've considered that pretty heavily. I've debated on country/pop but I REALLY like the design of the techno trolls and I would kill to be a mermaid. Ideas: -Country/pop troll (like a unicorn centaur? all glittery and colorful but dabbles more in country than pop) who was raised amongst country trolls. -Pop/Techno hybrid that sort of operates on MLP hypogriff rules (aka they can switch between a land and sea form at will) but was raised in the country village. -Straight up techno troll that was raised country and honestly really doesn't like techno all that much when they hear it, but vibes with pop pretty good.
