I made up a not-really-Undertale-AU that I called “That’s A Lot Of Really Suspicious Looking Tourists” aka “UNDERCOVER” (named by leaphy_ over at twitter)

Takes place after the True Pacifist ending, and Frisk acts as their tour guide throughout the human world 8′’’^)

common excuses they give to ward off suspicions are “we’re from abroad…?” and “we ALL get sunburn very easily, in fact we are allergic to the sun but we just want to enjoy our time outside :-(”

Growing Pains

Everyone who says being a soulmate is easy is a fucking liar. 

It’s all instinct, they say. You’ll know exactly what to do. Papyrus' bony fucking ass. Nothing about this shit is coming naturally to him. Granted, not a lot does come naturally to him, so maybe that’s more representative of his overall inadequacy as a monster, but the fact remains that being your soulmate is the second hardest thing he’s ever had to do. 

(And it’s only second to the tug of duty forcing him to stand before a pink-cheeked human child, their striped shirt coated in his brother’s dust, sunlight streaming through the cracked windows of the Judgement Hall like golden fractals of lightning.)

It’s not like there’s a guidebook or manual for this shit, either. His old dating rulebook doesn’t have any helpful pointers on navigating a bond with a) a human, b) a mage, and c) someone who wants absolutely nothing to do with him.
