Heyo! I hope I'm not a bother! I was reading your headcanons for Code Realize (All which are absolutely adorable, BTW!) and I've absolutely fallen head over heels in love with Impey in a puffy sleeved blouse! If it's alright, could I write a fanfic about said headcanon for my blog? I'll make sure to credit you of course! (I also understand if you say no. I just wanted to ask before posting said fic) Have a good day!
Nothing would bring me greater joy than inspiring someone to make something!!! 。゚(TヮT)゚。 By all means please, go ahead and write it - and give me a heads up when you've uploaded it, I wanna read it!

Code: Realize - At the Library
Impey Barbicane - Stumbles into the trashy vampire romance novels section. Notices open-fronted puffy shirts on his kind are truly all the rage right now. Returns another day to stride through the aisles in such a blouse. Is escorted off the vicinity by security.
Abraham Van Helsing -  Accompanies Delly, who goes to look into records of the Delacroix family history. A nearby group of parents think it's very sweet that Van has "such an active presence in his son's education". Somehow gets roped into teaching the children's reading session that day. Is perturbed by the small seaweed-haired child who keeps flipping him the bird.
Victor Frankenstein -  While perusing the science section, encounters a group of middle-schoolers working on their chemistry project. Victor lends a helping hand and accidentally teaches them how to build a nuclear reactor. The middle-schoolers will win first prize at their school science fair. Victor will win a visit from some rather miffed Apostles of Idea.
Saint Germain -  Works his way through the history and newspaper archive sections, quietly removing pages that evidence his existence throughout the ages. Stops when he finds a photo of him shaking hands with English antique show host Tim Wonnacott. Takes it home and frames it.
Arsène Lupin -  Has worked out an arrangement with the librarian whereby he returns overdue library books from their last listed borrowers, earning a tidy little sum in “overdue fees”.
No book is too cumbersome for Lupin to collect - his conquests include snatching Leonhardt’s bathroom-reading straight out of his hands while he was in the midst of using the commode, and handing in a Thomas the Tank Engine picture-book with Impey Barbicane still attached to it.

Your CxM headcanons are giving me life, I laughed wayyy too hard at the thought of Mineo ending up with juggalo facepaint at a fair.
Ahahaha I’m absolutely delighted you get a kick out of them! 。゚(TヮT)゚。
Mineo’s always fun to write for - he runs headlong into absurdity so he does half the work for me.

Collar x Malice - At the Library
Mineo Enomoto - Borrows every book he can find on famous figures of the Sengoku era. Takeru is surprised he's willing to read ones that don't have pictures. Mineo also hides the newest edition of “100 Heart-Jerking Love Confessions" within the stack of books he's checked out, but an error while scanning them results it in it being singled out to be rung up.
Takeru Sasazuka - Convinced that there's nothing in the library he can't find online, makes do with perusing the sweet jar that was left for young'uns. A well-meaning but very mistaken librarian attempts to herd him with the rest of the kids for the Children's Reading Group Session that's scheduled for that day. Not a lot of reading gets done but they do learn a wide range of profanity.
Kei Okazaki - Informs Yoshinari that their assignment today is going through all the National Geographic magazines they can find and circling any naked people. Yoshinari, slightly confused by the nature of this mission, but eager to do a good job, complies. He will be discovered by a little old lady librarian and chased off the premises.
Meanwhile, Kei has built himself a pillow fort in the video aisle and fallen asleep.
Kageyuki Shiraishi - Is there to pick up a copy of a newly released criminal psychology textbook he reserved. A shy college student coquettishly tries to strike up a conversation with him, saying they're reading the same book, and are having trouble with some of the terminology. Their attempts at flirtation sail over his head and he dismissively tells them if they're not well-read enough to understand freshman level psychology, he recommends something closer to their reading level; and perhaps they would prefer a copy of The Very Hungry Caterpillar, which he hears is very popular with children aged two to seven?
Aiji Yanagi - Drops by to pick up a best-selling self-help guide on how to kick smoking. Arrives just in time for a frantic Yoshinari to run past him, chased by an 80 year old librarian with a taser. Reaches into his pocket for a cigarette.

Collar x Malice - At the Zoo
Mineo Enomoto - Returns an escaped penguin that he recovered on police detail. He believes it has imprinted on him, and their separation is a tearful one. Will visit every weekend, showing him photos of his work day from the other side of the glass.
Takeru Sasazuka - When invited to go, responds "Why would I go to the zoo to see chimps when Mineo's right here?"
Takeru then proceeds to throw peanuts at him from his desk.
Kei Okazaki - Naps in some hay and becomes trapped in the petting zoo after hours. Contemplates his new life, being petted on the head by small children and eating animal feed out of their hands, before a frantic Yoshinari discovers him.
Kageyuki Shiraishi - Goes to see the big cats. Runs the numbers on keeping one at the Detective Agency. Yanagi sarcastically says he'll let him if Shiraishi can housebreak it and get it to wear a tie. Shiriashi questions why they keep Mineo around when he fulfils neither of those criteria.
Aiji Yanagi - Strikes up a conversation with the falcon handler. Is intrigued by the idea of keeping one at the agency to send out for cigarettes. Reconsiders upon considering the possibility it may fly away with Takeru.

Code: Realize - At the Fair
Impey Barbicane - Plays the crane game to win a toy for Cardia. After a string of failures, declares he's had it with the machine. Locates the access hatch and crawls inside. Gets stuck. Bangs on glass and cries until a security guard lets him out.
Abraham Van Helsing - After prolonged puppy-dog staring on Delly's part, Van Helsing accepts his request to win him the grand prize in a duck shooting game. Unwilling to fall victim to the chicanery of rigged carnival games, Van Hellsing dispatches the cardboard water fowl with his own firearm. 7 shots from a 12 gauge-shotgun later, Delly is the proud owner of a 4 foot tall corgi plushie.
Victor Frankenstein - Latest pet-project is the enlargment of vegetables through the administration of his specially formulated growth tonic. His pride and joy is a six foot tall clove of garlic, which wins first prize in its category at the fair. His happiness is shortlived however when Impey, in a fit of panic wrought by his innate vampire instincts, takes a sledgehammer to it.
Saint Germain - In the days leading up to the fair, answers a "Help Wanted" ad for a "Magician's Lovely Assistant".
The call put out requests a "mysterious fair-haired beauty with shapely legs and bewitching eyes, who is capable of diverting audience attention away from a magician's sleights of hand".*
*("Preference shown towards applicants who bring their own top hats ". )
While not what the magician was expecting, Saint Germain's interviewer acknowledges that it would be a violation of The 19th Century Equal Opportunities Act to turn away someone who fulfilled all the specified application criteria, and offers him the job.
Arsène Lupin - Curious as to why posters around town feature his landlord donning fishnets and a tuxedo leotard, Lupin acquires a ticket to the fair's magic show.
Tragedy strikes when the magician must be escorted off-stage as the performance goes awry and his lovely assistant is sawed clean in half. Lupin leaps at the chance to fill in, magicianal skullduggery and thievery requiring a similar skillset.
For his final trick, he asks for the car keys of the most gaudy looking member of the audience. The stage curtain is lowered, and then raised. True to his word, Lupin has disappeared - the only clue to his whereabouts being the distant revving of a 1926 Bentley engine.

Collar x Malice - At the Fair
Mineo Enomoto - Walks into the face-painting stall and asks to be adorned with Kabuki make-up. Walks out a juggalo. Attempts to tackle the All You Can Eat corndog contest. Narrowly loses when he accidentally chokes on a stick, but survives due to what he believes was Takeru giving him the Heimlich maneuver.
Takeru Sasazuka - Is too short to be let on any of the rides. People keep coming up to him, holding cotton candy next to his head and taking photos. A passing clown makes him a balloon-hat because "No little boy should be sad at the fair"! Trudging by the corndog contest, Takeru, enraged by the sight of Mineo's red choking face, punches him in the gut so hard he dislodges the stick. Takes the rest of his anger out on the unlucky sap manning the dunk tank.
Kei Okazaki - Mans a kissing booth. States he is raising funds for Yanagi's detective agency. Yanagi hands him a 1000 yen note and asks him to "please, please, go home".
Kageyuki Shiraishi - Participates in the 'Guess the Weight of the Sow' competition. Makes a series of guesses aloud and is able to win by analyzing the host's reaction to each one and adjusting his final answer accordingly. After a hearty congratulatory handshake, is asked for where his car is so they can load the prize-pig (lovingly named 'Aiji Hamagi') into it to take home. Shiraishi gives them Mukai's license plate number.
Aiji Yanagi - Isn't all that interested in any of the activities until he comes across the 'World's Largest Yam' attraction. Spends the rest of the day in a heated discussion with a group of root vegetable farmers extolling the origin and versatility of the common spud.
