Well it’s happening, the Michelle business she convinced the pads to make is slowly crumbling. They moved Jared to Purgatory after many fan requests? Pullease We all know Gen won’t appear if Jensen is there so Gen cancelled as well. BS, event planner saw the huge loss that Gen was bringing and got Jared to move over to be with Jensen and Misha. Who’s this Anson character? I took a step back from tumblr and now I feel like I need a book to figure out what I missed lol.

With him yet again leeching off of appearing with Jared this weekend, now seems as good a time as any to circle back to this ask because I too have been perplexed by Jared’s supposed friendship with this guy for some time. And as per usual, I brought receipts.

Anson Gordon seems to first be publicly linked to the Pads in Sandy Molinare’s Instagram in 2016. This looks like he has been a part of the wealthy, and fairly conservative circle that both the Pads and the Ackles use to run with at that time.

He clout-chased a few times in 2018 in his IG story and wanted to let the world know he has famous friends, with Jared and Danneel (in the background of a video) making appearances. He then started more regularly sharing pics of himself attending UFC fights with Jared in January 2020. And since then, his presence has only grown to include other Austin goings-on, more testosterone fueled events, some weapons safety and/or stuntman gig on Walker that included some brief screen time, meeting up with the Pads on their 2021 Italy trip, Jared’s car accident last year in which he and his son were passengers, and a spot on the Pads Family Feud team earlier this year. He is seen, and confused for Jensen somehow in the comments, in this IG post of Jared’s, sliding down a slide like best buds. He is regularly seen showcasing himself on socials interacting with Pads errand boy, Charlie Capen (you won’t convince me he didn’t record that slide video), as well as Clif and various Walker actors.

I will be 100% transparent here about my political leanings that run deeper than fandom. I don’t like this guy because I feel like he is the very conservative, aging frat boy of my nightmares. I don’t care that he’s rubbed elbows with other rich people at the Out Youth Gala, he is a salesman at the end of the day. I feel like he and I would strongly disagree on a lot of important (to me) issues/values, and the transference I feel when I look at him is strong. (That means he reminds me of people I know in real life.) He appears quite motivated to flex next to Jared at any opportunity and draw attention to himself. (Jared doesn’t showcase him nearly as often. The slide post kinda surprised me. Again, who’s a good boy? Charlie is!)

To me, Anson comes off as caustic, shallow, arrogant, and chauvinistic. Here’s the story of how I got bored and nosy during the pandemic and came to these opinions:

This post from February 2021 was deleted months later as Anson posted more and more with Jared and Walker actors and gained followers/eyes on him. Now why in early 2021, would some folks from Texas even joke about secession?? The most obvious answer: the growing uproar over covid, mask mandates, vaccines, general pandemic limitations on their gentrifier (sorry/not sorry, wealthy Austinites) rich-kid fun. Look out y’all this privileged white male is “startin trouble.” Somebody ask this guy where he was on January 6th.

Exhibit B is less damning, but it irritates me so imma include it:

A smug face and pose like this with a firearm captioned “virtue signaling” sure feels like a jab at the sNoWfLaKeS, given the rest of the context. No, shooting guns isn’t a crime, and in fact it’s this guys livelihood, but why add the snark if you’re not an ass and hoping to instigate? It feels like a safe bet that gun laws were also up there on the list of reasons for Texas secession dreams.

Exhibit C, posted to his story in August ‘21 just prior to his IG account going private for a few months and right about the same time the Pads themselves got Covid:

I would love to know how Jared responded to being tagged in this mess. No I’m not suggesting he gave the Pads Covid, but I do think someone from the Pads or Walker team told ole boy to cool it with the anti-mask rhetoric so as not to reflect negatively on Jared, hence the private account. However you may feel about mask mandates at this point, remember that this was late summer/fall of 2021. Covid was obviously still rampant as the Pads and Anson himself would soon learn after returning home from Italy. How dare the Uber peasant ask that he respect his safety as he provides a service. Fuck that guy, right?!

It was after this in November 2021 that Anson first seemed to try to redeem himself by attending the Out Youth Gala with the Pads and also with his favorite accessory, his wife, in tow. What I won’t include here are the gross IG story video highlights from a different event that this tool has conveniently saved in which he documents his seemingly intoxicated wife’s side-boob for an uncomfortable amount of time. Guys can dig their wife’s bodies, and even do so on their own social media, but you gotta trust me that the ick factor is palpable. Bodily autonomy being what it is, maybe she’s ok with the multiple posts of this type, and I can respect that…and he’s shared quite a few.

But for me the final straw was when, not 24 hours after the horrific Robb Elementary school shooting in Uvalde, Texas on 5/24/22, Anson’s IG story was plugging his firearm silencer business and hyping the launch of new products at the NRA convention that coming weekend in Houston.

If you followed the link early on when I called him a salesman, you may have already figured out that this man has made a sizable fortune off of engineering top of the line silencers for assault rifles. The IG account tells me that they sell for about $700-$750 each. None of this is a crime, but he’s not exactly reading the room in this moment. In comparison, Gen was sharing post after post to her IG story during this time about the need for reform around gun laws and sympathy for the victims. But this guy knew a big convention was approaching and he needed to capitalize. Then he went golfing.

So this is why I cringe whenever I see this Wish version of Jensen snuggling up to Jared.

He’s not deserving of the positive assumptions that some fans/Jared stans have made about him based solely on his proximity to Jared. And let’s be honest, with the great big fandom divide these days, a lot of Jared fans are just all too eager to root for anyone that isn’t Jensen. But, in my opinion, you don’t get to show up at an LGBTQ fundraiser claiming to be an ally when you have no doubt voted to protect your own interests (guns, money) and cast ballots for people who also support drag bans and an end to gender affirming care. It doesn’t work like that, especially not in Texas. He’s invested in Texas staying red, and if you recall or scroll up, there was a time when it wasn’t red enough for him. He’s certainly not voting for LGBTQ+ human rights, but he will write them a check for damage control in the aftermath. What a guy.

To clarify, this is NOT an anti-Jared post, although some may see it as such. There’s no suggested call-to-action for the fandom coming from me. Jared is not Anson’s keeper. But at the same time, to an extent, we are who we associate with and with whom we spend precious time. And Jared spends a fair amount of public time with this clown and allows Anson to attach himself to him and profit off of him. Leeching onto Jared is the best thing this guy did to get his face and his veneers seen by a larger audience. So Jared, I love ya, but it’s not a good look. This guy had no qualms showing people who he was when fewer people were looking, but deleting posts doesn’t delete screenshots. And I’ve got those, as you can see.

I’m doing well! Happy New Year to you and to everyone else reading this. I’ve been gone a while but I wanted to come back here to see what’s been going on.

To answer your question:

I think Jared and Jensen came to terms with their relationship a long time ago. Obviously their relationship meant enough to them that they were willing to find beards and live their fake lives together in Austin (as much as they could).

Things have changed a bit since then with Jensen moving to Connecticut. I don’t know if they are still “together” but it’s obvious things between them are different.

Do I still believe they’re in love? Absolutely. I don’t think after nearly 20 years together that that kind of love ever goes away. Maybe they just needed a break to figure things out.

As for whether or not they’ll ever come out… I honestly don’t know. I think Jared is happy to live a “quieter” life in Austin working on Walker and producing things in the future. Jensen seems more ambitious, especially now that he has that TV deal with Amazon. It’s clear they want different things and maybe that’s one reason they’re living in different states and seem to be apart at the moment.

I don’t want to disappoint any longtime tinhats, as that’s not my intention. I don’t know these men personally and for all I know, they could be together right now. I’m just stating the obvious.

I’ll still be around and I hope for more J2 moments but with Jared cutting back on CE cons, it looks like even those will be few and far between. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I guess we’ll just have to wait and see what happens.

I’m working on it. 😅 I just haven’t had time to sit down and get all my thoughts together but for what it’s worth, I think the only songs that aren’t about Jared are: You Made Me Blue, Keep On Ramblin’, Sweet Escape, and Velvet Sky.

All the others tell a story about two people in love who have been through a few ups & downs recently. They tell the story of J2. 🫣❤️

I don’t understand the reason of Jared's fans to get angry on Jensen again. The worst thing he did two years ago, but now there is no reason to get mad. TW ended exactly how it could be, I get people making ridiculing it and laughing at Jensen because that is entertainment of some sort- but pulling the same old conspiracy theories and proving how big backstabber jensen is... Jensen was definitely just playing to the crowd at the con acting like he was instantly attracted to Danneel as soon as he saw her and knew she was the one. Jensen and Danneel knew each other and hung out in the same friend group for years before they worked together on TIH.

I think Walker season 1 was pretty good. I stand by that. Not award winning or anything, but a solid show with a good balance of action and drama. I think Lindsey leaving did hurt the show and changed the whole vibe. Is Big Sky really that much better than Walker and Walker Independence? I haven’t seen it.

Big Sky season 1 was amazing. IMO, a lot better in quality than both Walker and TW. Season 2 was awful. Season 3 was pretty good but not as good as the first season. If I had to rate them, this would be my order:

1. Big Sky season 1

2. Walker season 1

3. Big Sky season 3/Walker season 2 (tied)

4. Walker season 3

5. Big sky season 2

It's so funny to watch stupid Jared and Jensen fans trying to prove that their friendship doesn't exist, that they can barely stand each other and that the J2 actually hate each other. That their J is better and the other is worse. Maybe not a popular opinion, but the Winchesters and Walker are totally uninteresting shit. As much as fans of each of them try to prove that their favorite's project is the best, the truth is far more obvious. Nobody cares about Walker, especially Walker: Independence. The Winchesters is a complete failure. Shitty projects by the J2 and their fans individually aside, they're doing just fine. The J2 are still having a good time on the panels saying compliments to each other, making confessions and sharing all sorts of nice moments from life. Their love is strong and everlasting

I agree for the most part. I think both extreme Jensen stans and extreme Jared stans need to stop acting like either J is the next Pedro Pascal. Outside of the Supernatural fandom, no one really knows who they are. Jared is a little more well known because he did Gilmore Girls, Friday the 13th, and House of Wax but he’s still best known for playing Sam. And Jensen has been getting a bit more exposure lately from being on The Boys but again, mostly know for playing Dean. Neither one of them are household names and there’s nothing wrong with that.

This weird obsession extreme stans have with hyping their fave up and trying to prove they’re A-list celebrities is really unhealthy. It’s gotten to the point where even the slightest criticism is seen as heresy. If you critique Jared’s acting, suddenly you’re a fake fan and all your friends will drop you. If you criticize Jensen for a particular career move, you’re a fake fan and again, all your Jensen stanning friends will drop you. They’re not above criticism just because they’re your fave. I wish people understood that.

Walker and Walker Independence aren’t the greatest shows ever, but the way I see Jared stans hype them up as if they were on the same level as, say, Succession or Yellowjackets or something is laughable. I’ve even seen people seriously suggesting they get nominated for Emmys. The Winchesters is no better. The writing is awful, the dialogue is awful, the acting (for the most part) is subpar. But I still see Jensen stans praising it and saying it “compliments” or “enhances” Supernatural. At this point I’m convinced they’re all trying to convince themselves about what they believe rather than the rest of us.

It makes me wonder if either side have ever seen television outside of the CW.

Anyway. I also fully believe that J2 are good. We’re not in glass closet era anymore (unfortunately 💔) but we have no reason to believe they aren’t doing great. They are in love and happy and no amount of pointless fandom drama will ever change that. ❤️

This week, it feels like Jensen and Jared were competing for Internet points when both of their shitty shows had season finale announcements. They were both making tons posts (or their PR ppl since they’re boomers) on sm celebrating season finales. It’s like they’re both trying to convince everyone that their shows are really good but anyone outside of tumblr/twitter doesn’t know what their shows are.

Also I discovered the CW’s Gotham show trailer ended up on the r/cringe subreddit. Don’t let the hardcore Misha stans know about this. 🫣

I mean at the end of the day part of J2’s job is to promote these shows and a lot of people’s paychecks depend on these shows succeeding so I get it. Although, personally, I think Walker/Walker: Independence are better in quality than The Winchesters. And that’s not shade toward Jensen! It’s shade toward the writers and some of the actors. Neither Walker show will be winning any Emmy’s anytime soon, but they’re both more watchable than TW (imo).

Also I had no idea about the GK ending up on Reddit 👀. That’s hilarious. Misha stans are in for a rude awakening when Batman/DCU fans watch the show and tear Misha’s acting to shreds. They can’t blame Jared for this, so they’ll be scrambling to defend their king somehow.

I, for one, am looking forward to watching them fight for their lives. 😌

What’s your take on how PR tries to market Keegan as the new “brother” in Jared’s life? I feel like it’s very pointed and very specific that the way he posts on social media in a way that seems like he’a shouting “hey look at me I’m the new brother!”

Definitely.

Even before Walker premiered they were already pushing the idea that Keegan was Jared’s new brother on and off screen. It was so laughably transparent.

I don’t dislike Keegan but I absolutely feel like he kisses Jared’s ass way too hard. He’s eased up some (ever since a certain director came on set 👀) but he still uses Jared for clout whenever he can. And one way to do that is by calling him his brother and posting selfies/videos of them any chance he gets. I feel like he’s probably encouraged to do so as well.

It’s a little annoying as a tinhat but also just as a J2 fan, because anyone with eyes and a brain can see that Jared and Keegan are nowhere near (and will never be) as close or as comfortable or as special as Jared and Jensen. I’ve seen a few ex-tinhats and Jensen antis try and push the narrative that Jared is happier with Keegan but it’s so pathetic and untrue that I just have to laugh. One panel with J2 has 100 times more chemistry and palpable love between them than any amount of Jared & Keegan content. They know it, too. But they’re so busy hating Jensen that they act like they don’t.

(Sorry for the tangent… I have a lot of thoughts on this, clearly. 😮‍💨)

But yes, there’s definitely a push to frame Keegan and Jared as “the new J2”. Good news is that it’s very obviously not working. 🥱
