I’m just saying we were robbed (both on the screen and in some fics) of Dean and Gabriel being that one weird duo.
Like what do you mean they didn’t get a chance to drunkly sing karaoke whilst Sam cringed at his brother and boyfriend and Cas just sat there not really sure how to react?
Of course they did, and they fucking smashed it.
(Gabriel fell off the stage before the song finished and Dean absolutely lost it and laughed so hard he got a stitch, they were dragged out by their boyfriends.)

I turned the drabble I wrote into a fic! I’m going to keep working on it so hopefully I’ll be adding more soon! (Since this is just a side-blog the account it’s posted under is also my main tumblr page)
Chapters: 2/? Fandom: Supernatural (TV 2005) Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Gabriel/Sam Winchester, Minor or Background Relationship(s), Castiel/Dean Winchester Characters: Gabriel (Supernatural), Sam Winchester, Dean Winchester, Castiel (Supernatural) Additional Tags: Background Destiel - It'll grow later along with Gabriel & Sams relationship, Masturbation in Shower, Sex in later chapters maybe Summary:
Gabriel makes a habit of leaving before he gets too comfortable with Sam. Will either ever feel deserving of an actual relationship with the other or will it be left unsaid?
Set after Elysian Fields where instead of running away and getting caught, Gabriel stuck around with Team Free Will.
(This is my first ever fic so constructive criticism is welcome! I hope y'all like it! Also big shout out to my friend Izzy for helping me throughout the writing process!)

You know that trope where a character goes on a violent rampage in front of their love interest who is then horrified by how far into darkness they've fallen? Do that with Sabriel except when Gabriel watches Sam go on a killing spree, it makes him 🥺💕😆💖

I totally support all main angel ships (Destiel, Sabriel, Midam) because I think it would be really funny if John came back to life and found out that each one of his sons had acquired an angel boyfriend.

After moving into the bunker, Gabriel decided that Saturday and Sunday would be everyones days off. No hunting, No studying, No stress. A time for everyone in the bunker to get together and relax. At least that was the plan, but ever since Saturday has been deemed ‘game night’ there hasn’t been much relaxing involved.
Today’s game of choice was monopoly, which was chosen by Sam. Everyone rolls a dice to see who goes first. Gabriel managed to roll the highest number so he went first. Dean was second. Castiel was third, leaving Sam to go last.
The game started off fun and friendly with everyone talking amongst themselves and sharing stories, but quickly turned competitive as properties became limited and money started to dwindle. It wasn’t long after and all the properties were accounted for, which brought a whole host of other problems.
With all the properties purchased, it was time to start negotiating. Gabriel was the first to start. “Let me offer you the deal of a life time, little brother.” He said as he held up a couple bills and two yellow properties. “Two crisp $500 bills with Atlantic Avenue and Marvin Gardens for the low, low price of New York Avenue.” He offered with a bright smile.
Castiel hummed as he contemplated the offer. He then shook his head. “No thanks.” He denied. Gabriel was flabbergasted. “What do you mean no?! That is a killer deal! A thousand dollars and two yellow properties. You have the other yellow, so it would give you a whole set!” The archangel pointed out as he gestured to the seraph’s properties.
Castiel looked down at his properties. Gabriel was correct, it would give him a matching set. However, as it stood, he owned every color on the board, which meant nobody could get a color set without negotiating with him first. He could afford to hold out for a better offer, he just had to be patient, which was something he was very good at. “No, thank you. I like having all the colors.” He explained after mulling over Gabriel’s offer for the second time.
“You are one sandwich short of a picnic, I hope you know that.” Gabriel huffed as he slumped back in his seat with his arms crossed. “You can go now, Dean-o. I’m not offering anything else to this crook.” He said as he passed Dean the dice.
“I tried to warn you before this happened because I knew he was planning something nefarious.” Dean stated as he shook the dice in his hands then tossed them onto the board. “Now that he has all the colors, our hands are tied, which means we will have to offer our first born child to get a card from him.” He explained as he moved his car token eight spaces.
He landed on a community chest space, pulled out a card, then read it out loud. “Money Grab. Take all the hundred dollar bills from the bank and throw them in the air. All players race to catch them. Keep what you catch and place the bills that landed back in the bank.” He said, showing everyone the card before placing it at the bottom of the community chest deck.
Sam placed the bag of veggie straws that he was snacking on, on the table, then dusted his hands off on his pants before grabbing the hundreds. “Here you go.” He said as he offered the stack of money to Dean.
Dean was so distracted by the abomination of a snack that Sam had just placed on the game table, that he hadn’t realized Sam was passing him the money until his younger brother tapped him on the shoulder. “Veggie straws? Are you fucking kidding me?” He asked with disgust lacing his tone as he took the money.
Sam shrugged. “They are good and have less carbs than potato chips.” He explained as he grabbed the bag of veggie straws off the table and popped a couple more into his mouth. Dean looked as if he was on the verge of vomiting as he glanced at Gabriel. “How could you let him eat shit like that? I thought you loved him?” He questioned the archangel.
Gabriel put his hands up defensively. “Hey! I don’t let him eat that stuff! He sneaks it! He’s like the worst kind of child, like a toddler that sneaks sugar, but instead of sweets, it’s vegetables.” He stated, face distorting to mirror Dean’s disgust. “Thankfully he is terrible at sneaking, so I am able to swoop in and save the day before the healthiness is able to poison his body beyond repair.” He added as he snapped his fingers.
Sam watched as his veggie straws were replaced by a bag of sour gummy worms but didn’t complain, this was a common occurrence. “My hero.” He hummed, voice dripping with playful sarcasm as he pulled a couple worms from the plastic bag before passing the bag of sweets to Gabriel.
Gabriel accepted the bag without hesitation and began to stuff the gummy worms in his mouth as he leaned back in his chair. “I thought Dean was supposed to be preforming the action on the card?” Castiel inquired as he watched the three men.
“Well that was the plan but now we gotta wait for Gabe to finish his gummy worms.” Dean replied. “Brave of you to assume I can’t eat gummy worms and catch cash at the same time.” Gabriel retorted around a mouthful of sweets. Sam and Castiel laughed at the statement while Dean rolled his eyes.
While everyone was distracted, Dean tossed the money into the air. Sam was the first (other than Dean) to jump up and start grabbing the falling cash. He fully expected his older brother to try something shady so he wasn’t as distracted as Dean would have hoped.
Gabriel launched himself after Sam and began to frantically grab the cash before it could land on the table or floor. Castiel wasn’t interested in getting into the middle of the fray, so he stayed in his seat and grabbed all the money that escaped the onslaught and floated in his direction.
Once all the money had been grabbed or landed, everyone sat back down in their seats. “I caught $700!” Gabriel cheered happily. “I caught $900. Sucks to suck, I guess.” Dean responded with a grin. “You only caught that much because you cheated.” Sam pointed out. “But doesn’t matter because I caught $1,300.” He added with a triumphant smile.
Dean mocked Sam as he passed Castiel the dice. “What about you? Did you catch any, Cas?” He inquired as the seraph grabbed the dice. “Mhm, I caught $500.” Cas stated, sounding pleased with the turn of events, even if he did catch less than everyone else.
He tossed the dice on the board and grabbed his bee token. He moved it five spaces. “I believe the bank owes me $400.” He said with a smile as he gestured to his token that was parked on GO.
Sam, who was elected banker at the beginning of the game, acknowledged Castiel’s accomplishment. “I have never seen anyone land on GO as much as you.” He said as he counted out four hundred dollars then passed the bills to Castiel. “It’s not that hard when you cheat.” Gabriel said accusingly.
Castiel took the four hundred then looked at Gabriel with a questioning expression. “You are mad at me, brother? Why?” He asked innocently. “I believe it’s because you shot down his deal earlier. You know Gabe holds a grudge.” Sam responded with a teasing grin towards the archangel.
Gabriel narrowed his eyes at Sam. “Yes, I do hold grudges, so better stay on my good side, Samshine.” He threatened lightheartedly. Sam chuckled at the threat as he put his hands up in surrender. “You’re right. I’m sorry.” He said apologetically.
Satisfied with Sam’s response, Gabriel turned his attention back to the seraph. “You know that deal is still on the table if you are interested, baby brother.” He offered again. “And my answer is still firm.” Castiel responded with a matter of fact tone.
Gabriel opened his mouth to complain after being denied for the third time but Castiel interrupted. “However, I do have a counter offer.” He explained. “One thousand dollars and boardwalk goes to me. In return, you get New York Avenue, Vermont Avenue, and B&O railroad.” He said as he held the cards up.
The archangel hummed as he contemplated the offer. “Please tell me you aren’t serious, Gabe.” Dean interjected. “If you make that deal then Cas will have the two highest paying properties on the board. We will all be doomed at that point.” He complained.
“Deanosaur has a point, baby dove. Park place and boardwalk is the best set in the game. The orange set is subpar compared to it.” Gabriel stated in agreement with Dean.
Castiel nodded his agreement as well. “You are right, that’s why I offered Vermont Avenue and B&O railroad. Sam has two light blues. If I give you the other light blue, you can bargain with him. Dean has three railroads. He will want the fourth.” The seraph assured.
Gabriel mulled the offer over for a couple more minutes then extended his hand. “You have yourself a deal, baby bro.” He said with a bright smile. Castiel shook his hand with a smile of his own. “Pleasure doing business with you, Messenger.” The seraph said as he glanced at Dean and winked.
Sam noticed the gesture and looked at Dean who had flushed a light shade of pink. “Should I be concerned?” Sam inquired. “I’m going to get a beer.” Dean replied, ignoring Sam’s question as he stood and walked in the direction of the kitchen.
Sam watched Dean leave with a confused expression, only turning his attention back to the angels when Dean disappeared around the corner. “Everything seem to be in order?” He asked as the two finished swapping properties and money.
“Looks good to me, Sammich.” Gabriel confirmed, sounding satisfied. “I concur.” Castiel agreed as he handed Sam $2,000 dollars. “May I have two hotels? One for park place, the other for boardwalk?” He asked as Sam grabbed the money from his hand.
Sam nodded as he put the money in the bank then grabbed the hotel tokens. “And with this transaction, we are screwed. Thanks, Gabe.” He chuckled as he dropped the tokens into the seraph’s hand.
Gabriel dismissed Sam’s worries with a flick of his hand. “You worry too much, Samantha.” He responded. “That deal went exactly how I intended for it to go, now I have all of you right where I want you.” He stated ominously as he sifted through the bag of gummy worms for a red and blue one. Those were his favorite.
Castiel withheld a laugh at his big brother’s confidence as he handed Sam the dice. “Welcome back, Dean. You are just in time for Sam’s turn.” He greeted as Dean walked in with two beers in his hand. His eyes followed the hunter, watching as he sat down and passed one of the alcoholic beverages to Sam, who muttered a ‘thanks’ in return as he rolled the dice.
Dean didn’t respond to the seraph’s greeting as he glanced at the hotels that were placed on Boardwalk and Park Place. “You have fucked us all, Gabe. Congratulations.” He cheered as he raised his beer in the air. “I second that.” Sam agreed as he raised his bottle and tapped it against Dean’s.
“Huh, that’s funny…” Gabriel said as he watched the boys take a drink from their bottles with a mischievous expression. “Because I only remember fucking Sam.” He explained with a wide grin, causing Dean to choke on his drink, while Sam flushed bright red with embarrassment.
Gabriel and Castiel bursted into a fit of laughter at the brothers expressions. By the time Dean and Sam had gained their composure, Gabriel and Castiel were wiping tears from their eyes. “That was gold! I should have been filming.” The archangel sighed through giggles. “Agreed.” The seraph responded as he put his fist in the air. Gabriel extended his fist and knocked it against Castiel’s, mimicking the cheers that Sam and Dean had preformed.
Dean rolled his eyes at the two angels. “Angels are dicks.” He muttered to Sam around the tip of his beer bottle as he took another sip. “Tell me about it,” was Sam’s response as he took a a swig of beer to calm his nerves. When he was done, he placed the bottle on the table, slamming it down hard enough to get the angels attention.
Gabriel and Castiel looked at the younger hunter, their eyes still shining with tears of amusement. Sam was silent as he held up a chance card. ‘Advance to boardwalk or send a friend instead’ the card read. Gabriel’s smile faded at the sight as Sam reached across the board and grabbed his Joker token. “You wouldn’t dare.” The archangel muttered as he narrowed his eyes.
Sam grinned as he picked the token up and hovered it over boardwalk. “I would after that outburst.” He purred as he placed the token down. Castiel picked up his property card. “Boardwalk with a hotel in $2,000.” He explained as he looked at Gabriel’s side of the table, the archangel only had a couple hundred after their deal earlier. “I believe that makes you bankrupt. I’m sorry, Messenger.” He said apologetically.
Gabriel glared at Sam for a moment before clearing his throat. “It’s okay, little brother. You don’t have to be sorry.” He assured as he passed his properties and money to Castiel. “But Sam will be.” He stated ominously before ruffling the seraph’s hair with a smile. “Since I’m out, I’ll get dinner started.” He said as he turned to leave the room.
“Love you, Gabe!” Sam called as the archangel disappeared around the corner. “Love you too but that sappy stuff won’t save you, Moose! I hold a grudge!” was the reply shouted back at Sam from the kitchen.
Sam laughed as he put the chance card back in the deck then passed the dice to Dean. “Now if you get your angel out, we can call it even and both win.” He offered as Dean rolled the dice and moved six spaces. “Sounds like a good deal to me.” The older hunter agreed and both of them shook hands.
Castiel couldn’t help but laugh as he overheard their plan. The bothers looked at the seraph in unison as they heard him giggling. “Something funny?” Dean questioned as he passed Castiel the dice. “No, not funny. More on the lines of cute.” He explained as he tossed the dice on the board and moved four spaces.
“And what’s that supposed to mean exactly?” Dean continued to question. Castiel smiled innocently as he counted out an obscene amount of money and handed it to Sam. “Six hotels please.” He stated. His innocent smile forming into a wicked grin.
After adding Gabriel’s properties to his collection, he gained two extra sets, yellow and orange. Sam handed him the hotels and he spread them out amongst his newly acquired properties. “I suspect that Sam will be out on his next turn. You as well, Dean.” He stated matter of factly as he passed Sam the dice.
“Son of a bitch.” The brothers muttered in unison as they stared at the game board in disbelief. Castiel leaned back in his chair with a smug expression plastered across his face as he waited for the boys to play their turns.
Just as the seraph predicted, Sam went bankrupt by rolling doubles, which landed him on St. James Place. He had to pay Castiel $950. He managed to scrape together enough by mortgaging properties, but because he rolled doubles, he had to roll again. He, unfortunately, rolled a three and moved his dog token to New York Avenue where he had to pay Castiel $1,000 and went bankrupt.
Dean managed to skip passed those properties by rolling an 11. He thought that he was home free until his car token landed on Park Place. Even with mortgaging all his properties, he didn’t have enough to pay the $1,500 rental charge and went bankrupt.
Sam was a good sport about the loss and complimented Castiel on a game well played. “Can y’all two pack the game away while I go help Gabriel in the kitchen?” He asked as he stood. Castiel nodded with a smile. “Thanks, Cas.” He said flashing a smile of his own before leaving the room.
Once Sam was gone, Castiel turned his attention to the older hunter, who was attempting to sneak out of the game room. With a flick of his wrist, the door slammed shut in Dean’s face, sealing off his exit. “Have you forgotten about our wager, Dean? Or is that why you are trying to sneak off?” He asked with a knowing expression.
“Shit.” Dean muttered under his breath.

One of my friends has been really encouraging so I'm delving back into writing and I'm going to try and turn this into a full fic! So far I've got a little background written as well as a page worth of follow up.
If anyone's interested, hopefully I'll be posting a chapter soon :D
Gabriel doesn’t need to sleep, like any angel, but he indulges occasionally if only to block off the world around him for a few hours. The first night he stays in Sam’s bed after one of their hookups, he closes his eyes and listens to the quiet breathing of the man next to him before allowing himself to drift off.
In the morning he wakes first, smiling softly when he feels Sam’s arm draped over his waist. He reaches out, lightly brushing his fingers across Sam’s cheek before tucking a strand of brunette hair behind the taller man’s ear. He could never admit how much he wants more, doesn’t want to show himself to be so vulnerable.
Sam feels the soft touch on his cheek as consciousness comes to him, but doesn’t dare open his eyes. He feels Gabriel shift in the bed, followed by a light kiss pressed to his temple before the weight next to him is gone. A sharp hollowness fills his chest when he opens his eyes and finds himself alone.
