Not to be annoying about Camelot 1967 (proceeds to be annoying about Camelot 1967) but I like that they removed the threat of war from Guenevere and Arthur's arranged marriage. It gives Guenevere a bit more agency. In the original musical, her staying is framed as frivolous dream-fulfillment of men going to war over her, and this is the deciding factor in her settling for the arranged marriage. In the revival, she stays out of duty to prevent outbreak of war (despite the lyrics she had just sung 🤨). In the movie, she came to the realisation that she could be happy in Camelot with Arthur, without the additional external pressure of war. This lets her have a real marriage with Arthur and makes her eventual betrayal all the more devastating.
Also the war lyrics were changed because Vanessa Redgrave refused to glorify war, I think in protest of the Vietnam war, iconic behaviour from my definitive Guenevere.

“average person writes 3 love letters a year" factoid actualy just statistical error. average person writes 0 love letters per year. Lonely-hearts Georg, who lives in Hungary & writes over 10,000 each day, is an outlier adn should not have been counted

Can we talk about how when she first introduces him in Trip to the Library it's "thickly bespectacled man" and then as she's falling for him throughout the song it becomes "slightly bespectacled gentleman"
Still on She Loves Me brainrot, but I just realized the symbolism in Ilona dating an optometrist after all she’d been through…Paul helped her see men (and her dating life as a whole) more clearly. Overall, while it seems like just a funny because she wouldn’t typically go for that type of guy, it’s actually purposely symbolic and BEAUTIFUL.

That part of I Resolve where she Ilona sings "where men are concerned I'm always in the dark" is GENIUS. Like that's such a PERFECT double entendre. But also! The little musical clue that happens right after "dark"? *chef's kiss*
