I wrote about the another anniversary this year. This my art GoldWez period has started back in 2017, somewhere in autumn. 5 years ago. If only I knew the certain day! Here is the very first drawing, it`s not impressive, I know, but it was the beginning itself. I drew this Goldie and thought that he doesn`t look good enough, so when I got home, I found the screenshots and drew him a bit better. And the next day. And the next 5 years. 2024 and I keep drawing GoldWez, I just don`t post now. There are people responsible for this, of course. let`s say them “thank you!”

Some time ago I was blessed to recieve from my fandom friend the rare unseen photos from MM2 filming set. Great thanks for the awesome backstage photos to the people who took and kept them! I don`t have a certain permission to post this photo itself so all I can do to share my love with fandom is to draw it.

The 1st time when I watched “Mad Max 2 the Road Warrior” was in 2012. It was  10 years ago, wow, so much! And that`s not the only this year anniversary. The inscriptions should be easy to read with (left mouse) click and a large image size. The one on the left (the unknown language for most) is a name of Nautilus Pompilius song “Air”. It is about a saint criminal. I translated a couplet if anyone is interested: “And though his hands were covered with blood They shone like a pair of wings, And gunpowder turned into sand in guns Those were aimed at him.”

He’s a poet. He’s a rock singer. He’s beautiful. The Golden Youth has it all. But when he starts getting increasingly alarming death threats, the only one who can protect him is his (ex-military, ex-convict) bodyguard, Wez.

“…where are we going?” “Where they won’t find you.”

Yes, I copied the poster for “The Bodyguard”. Goldie is a singer in his early 20s who suffers from depression and is exploited by the record company, and Wez works as a bodyguard for famous people who can’t afford a better one (or, at least, one with a clean criminal record). When someone actually tries (and almost succeeds) to kill Goldie, the only thing Wez can do is hide the youth and try to frame the instigators.
