I’ll never understand why anthropomorphic animal cartoons like Robin Hood and Zootopia will go to the trouble of creating character designs that are meant to be understood as “attractive” or even “sexy” to the human audience but explicitly avoid showing interspecies romances between anthropomorphic animals. Why is THAT weird but, like, trying to make rabbits recognizably sexy-coded to humans isn’t?

It's gonna be such a funny mess when Donald Trump dies of a stroke on April 1st, 2024.

Naturally everybody will think it's fake because of the date only to lose their minds (both positively and negatively based on their opinion of trump) when realizing it's real

There will be massive celebrations in the streets and on social media and lots of predictable "don't speak ill of the dead" discourse about those celebrations

Weird evangelicals will pull some weird number trick talking about how Jesus was conceived on April 1st and that makes Trump a sort of messiah and people will make fun of that

The Republicans (after they're done with the faux-sadness and faux-outrage) will stomp over each other to be his successor but none of them will succeed. They'll tear each other apart and have no single nominee for the November elections.

There will be discourse about if Biden and the living former presidents should go to his funeral (they won't, he was a traitor insurrectionist)

The Ukraine-Russia War immediately goes in favor of Ukraine as morale in the Kremlin is reduced. China similarly backs off from its threats on Taiwan.

Ten thousand new memes are made, some sticking around for years to come.

Not a month later a bunch of unofficial biographies of Trump hit the bookshelves, many with new details about just how awful he was.

Short version, game development;

I’ve got so many ideas for things I want to make, worked out in so many ways, and the only thing that I lack is the energy to actually bring it to reality;

Ideas for a 2-wheel combat system, offense and defense options being chosen at the same time, ideas for a mixture of battleship and minesweeper, ideas for a game where you need to manage the positions of your defenses 2 at a time…

Once I finally actually make my first full proper game, with proper saving and options and all, I know that the rest will come easier…

I could probably go on, but this should be enough to get the idea across;

I have characters of mine that attempt readings;

But I keep it all solidly in the realm of Fiction;

Because the World I imagine, and the World that is, are not the same;

Messy rooms are like a canvas, waiting to be painted with details about a character’s life;

hey!! this is chance and here’s week 5’s prompt. your oc suddenly gets transported to a mall. what store(s) would they go in? would they buy anything? what would they think? tell me about the experience.

A full on mall would be unusual for Them; They are more so used to little storefronts and alleyway trades in the most positive of contexts;

If They found themselves in a full Mall, they would likely visit a toy store first; see if they can get some new marbles; food court would probably be next; but They would be pretty opportunistic about it all, and let what happens happen; might even make a new friend!

Living in an underground area, the weirdest part about all of it would be how the greater mall area isn’t trying to make itself look distinctive from inside the stores. Because even underground, folks know how to make the separation between inside a building and inside the cavern very clear;

‘Everywhere is already inside’, so a building making itself LOOK Like it’s just 1 big inside is odd;

hey this is chance and here’s week 4’s prompt. how do strangers within the world view your protagonists? how would they describe them? and how does this contrast against how the protagonist views themself?

As always, it varies from protag to protag, but for My current wip game, Adults just see Them as a kid; playing with other kids, not yet to bring any great meaning to The World;

But other kids? They know Them to be exceptionally enduring and energetic; always running around, ready to have another snowball fight; Fun even to loose against, some might say;

As for how They view Themselves? Well, it’s hard for Them to keep Their energy in perspective; at best they can tell, others just tire of snowball fighting for the day after just one game, and turn to other activities; They also like to picture Themselves as a bit of a Hero; ready to help anyone who LOOKS to be in need; (regardless of if they actually need it or not)
