Ada looked taken aback for a moment. "N-No! Well..." She looked down and thought for a moment as she tapped her finger against her chin. "If it were a life and death situation I-I wouldn't hesitate, but usually being sentenced to gaol for committing a crime is time away from Cyren that I absolutely cannot bear. I've already been without him long enough and minding my p's and q's is one certain way I can make sure I never wind up in a place where I can't be with him much less hold him in my arms."

Cat’s Eye: What sorts of things soothes them when they’re worked up?

As corny as this might be for some people, it’s usually Cyren’s demeanor in the way he helps her approach things.  He doesn’t try to baby her (unnecessarily) and, while gentle and soft-spoken regarding her issue, sometimes just feeling his hands upon her shoulders to help ease the tension is more than enough to calm her nerves over anything.

Any sound of running water also helps calm her mood, it doesn’t matter if it’s rain, a babbling brook, a waterfall, ocean waves, or a fast river current.  She’s especially at immediate ease when said water can be heard coming into contact with any sort of plants as rain falling upon leaves is one of her personal favorites.

"I would have to say that I don't truly own any pets myself, but if I had to pick a 'minion' per se, it would have to be my fairy Seasaidh (shess-see). Now, mind you, she is not a pet. Far from it, in fact. She is a thinking, free-moving, breathing being. While she is attached to my aether signature, basically an extension of me, she is quite her own at the same time. She has been near me and always close for the past two seasons and I'm grateful to have her. I've even learned her language quite fluently and communicate with her and she in turn is making every attempt to learn ours and has come quite far in doing so. It was her who helped me find my beloved Cyren again and I don't know how I survived this long without her," Ada smiled as she looked up to the illuminated being hovering barely overhead.

FFXIV LOCATIONS  ▶  LIMSA LOMINSA

↳   On the southern coast of the island of Vylbrand, under the shadow of ancient cliffs worn by the relentless onslaught of the Rhotano Sea, lies the marine city-state of Limsa Lominsa. Said to be blessed by the goddess of navigation, Llymlaen, the city is spread out over countless tiny islands, each connected by sturdy bridges of iron and wood construction, earning her the name the “Navigator’s Veil” from traveling bards who have witnessed the city’s beauty from afar. Limsa Lominsa is a traditional thalassocracy, with power lying in the hands of the ruling party and its leader, the Admiral. Its economy is driven by shipbuilding, fishing, and blacksmithing, but the majority of wealth comes from the lucrative shipping industry. To maintain the safety of its maritime routes, the city employs a formidable navy known as the Knights of the Barracuda. However, even in the waters nearby the city, pirate bands run rampant, reaving and pillaging.
