Thoughtful Thursday

“You know the tale of creation?” he asked.

“Of course, ” she said. Anybody knew that. Even poor orphan children were expected to have a basic understanding of Ayeshune and the world’s beginning lest they be considered absolute heathens.

He raised his hand and the edges of his skin began to glow. Her eyes widened as the light drifted from his fingers and gathered in a shining sphere before him. Magic? But of course, he was not an earth elf, but a celestial, or so the legends said.

Out of all the scenes, this is probably my favorite. Tillie is my FAVORITE character. I love her so much!!😩 She resembles a lot of my personality and I can relate to her so much. This scene is pretty basic but my favorite. I loved the artwork that went along with it. It's so cool that H.S.J. Williams not only wrote this book but also illustrated it! I love these characters so much. The journey they've been on is remarkable. They've been through so many hardships and trials but also lots of happy moments too. I can't wait to read more about their journey and Coren and Zizain’s in Crown of Sand & Sea.

Wip Wednesday

I leave the writing stuff to my sister. I enjoy art way more. Not exactly the drawing part but more of the painting aspect! I also like to write playwrights and help my sister out on occasion with her writing projects. Me and her would LOVE to write a book together sometime. I’m currently working on these moon phases as my final art project for school. I’m still an amateur but I love it so much!

I think this is probably the song I think of when I think of Moonscript. No matter what, the heroines in the book keep on fighting. Even when all hope seems lost. I feel like these lyrics portray Errance and his friends perfectly.

(I don’t have Instagram yet because I’m not 13...but I will be in a couple of weeks!) So I’m going to be posting these for me and my sister because she never posts anything on Instagram so I have to do it here for her😅

I love this art of Emaré and her horse Reinheart! I’m so excited by where this story is going. Emaré has finally entered it! Yesssss!! She’s my favorite out of all @paigecofferillustration characters. I feel I have so much in common with her. (I love archery and horses too!) My sister likes Tamiko the best and that’s understandable. I’ve always imagined Ava as the lead heroine in the story. She has so many traits that a main character should have. She’s kind, loyal, brave, and not afraid to tell people they’re wrong. I wouldn’t say I’m non-confrontational but I like to get along with everybody. Recently I told my sister this and she was appalled at it. She told me that like Tamiko, every main character needs a best friend/sidekick to help and love them even when things get hard. Someone with a kind spirit that knows how to calm the hero down and reign them in. A person the main character can confide in. The character you can’t hate because they've done absolutely nothing wrong. Their just good. She said that’s what I am and that to her the best friend/sidekick will always be the hero. After that she told me to get lost because I’m making her to quote on quote “mushy“. Haha! We‘re both rooting for Emaré and Adrien to get together! Finally finished the Caraval trilogy! These are by far some of my favorite books. Me and my sister love reading books that have to do with sister relationships. We can both relate so much to them. In this particular book series I’m more Scarlett and my sister is Donatella. Also Julian and Scarlett are third on my OTP list. (Percabeth is an obvious first and Cress and Thorne pulling a fast second;) Definitely recommending anyone and everyone to read this! Also @lostworldsanddragons otherwise known as my sister, you need to read this!
