Hellooooo, anyone out there remember me? It’s been almost a year since I’ve used this tumblr last - and over a year since I decided to start it.

As a bit of an explanation, I lost the Blackwood and AHC save files. Actually, I lost ALL my save files except some I’d backed up like three months prior or something. I’m not sure what happened but I put new CC into my game and when I started it up next just. Everything was wiped. I lost motivation after that and pretty much quit Sims 4. I switched to Sims 2 and really had a lot of fun!

Then my laptop broke. It stopped charging unless the charger was in a very specific position. We thought it was the charger itself so we bought a new one. Turns out it was the charging port. Online it said it had most likely come away from the motherboard. It’s been months since and I’ve been without a computer of my own.

That said, I’ve been using my husband’s desktop and it’s been a whole new experience for me. I’ve only ever had laptops. When he let me put sims on his computer it was like a totally different game. The graphics looked better, it ran so smoothly, and I could finally use reshade!!! I was so excited and it’s really given me my spark back for sims. So much so that I started an actual legacy challenge - The Sims in Bloom challenge. I had started the AHC before, but I never got very far into it since I lost my saves soon after. The Sims in Bloom legacy helped me really see the appeal of legacy challenges and I got pretty far in it before I found the Whimsy Challenge. Then my attentions shifted to that because I fell so deeply in love with it that it was all I could think about sometimes lmao.

But now I’ve found a new challenge and can feel myself wanting to get my grubby little hands on it. I read through the Crybaby Whims legacy last night and just. Wanted to start it so bad. But I know it’ll be like my other ones - I’ll play it till I find something better and then abandon it. I don’t want that to happen to my Whimsy legacy and I most definitely dont want it to happen to this one if I start it. So I’ve been thinking of bringing this simblr back to life. Maybe having the Crybaby Whims save as my simblr save, and the Whimsy save as my personal? Since I’m already almost finished with generation 1?

I also have to think about how I’ll be able to manage it. My depression has made my energy cap at like 5%. I’ve lost irl friendships bc I just can’t manage surviving and communicating at the same time anymore. Would adding an active simblr to my plate again be a good idea? I’m not sure, but I know I want to try it. I have this whole idea of making a cast list for the Crybaby legacy and how the drama of the first gen will start and I’m excited to FINALLY play with a teen because I haven’t played a teen at ALL since HSY came out. So I think what I’m going to do is…. Just post when I feel like! I was never a big simblr to begin with so it isn’t like I have dozens of people anxiously awaiting my posts. Especially since I’ve taken such a large break. I think I’ll kind of have to build back up again. Either way I’m not going to put so much pressure on myself to post here, and I think I’ll only use my twitter to announce posts and maybe chat with people here or there. Definitely don’t plan on getting into debates with people about the state of the sims or ea.

That’s just what I’m thinking about, anyway! Im getting a desktop of my own soon, so I might not start anything until then. Then again I’ll have to transfer stuff anyway. What’s the harm of another save file??

Maybe it was the drinks Sol snuck, or maybe the atmosphere, but something made him want to try and fix things with Kiersten. Or at least get it to where they could have a conversation without screaming at each other. 

“I’m not showing too much yet, but I swear I can feel it moving around in there,” Kiersten was saying as Sol pressed his hands to her stomach. He still couldn’t believe that the baby in there was his. Or, at least, the *fetus* was his. 

“Are you supposed to feel it this early?” Sol asked, glancing up at her face. Their eyes locked only for a moment before Kiersten looked away. 

“I’m not sure. I haven’t really looked into it. I could be imagining it, anyway.” 

“I don’t think you are,” Sol said before straightening up. Kiersten smiled at him for a moment before Ana brought dinner in from the grill. Once the pair grabbed their plates and sat at the table, the conversation shifted gears. 

“So, um, have you given any thought to how involved you want to be?” Kiersten asked. Sol wasn’t ready for the question, so it took him a bit to respond. 

“Well, I talked to Fin about it all earlier actually. He’s supportive of it all. I think he’s actually excited at the idea of me having a kid. He kinda helped me get a bit excited for it, too.” 

“So it’s all about Finley?” Kiersten’s voice was blunt. 

“What? No! I was just-” 

“Only thinking about Finley.” Kiersten rolled her eyes and put her fork down. “You know what, Sol, I shouldn’t have fucking asked. Your head is so far up Fin’s ass I could’ve guessed your answer would revolve around him.” 

Sol didn’t know how to respond, but luckily he didn’t have to. Dalton chimed it. “Alright, let’s watch our language at the dinner table. There are kids here. If you two don’t have anything nice to say, then don’t speak at all.” He shot a look in between the two, and dinner was finished in silence.

Alice’s absence had really been weighing on everyone - especially Dalton. Due to her camp, she only had an hour to eat and visit with her family before she had to head off to bed and leave again the next day. Camp was fun for Alice and good to further her education during summer break, but she missed her family and her family missed her. Safe to say, Simdependence day was a good day.

Due to Simdependence Day, Alice finally had off from camp and could actually spend time with her family. Since she’s been so busy, all of the focus has been on Sol.

In truth, Dalton wanted to blow up at Sol. He’d raised the boy better than to mess around with drugs. Sure, maybe weed wasn’t as bad as the rest of them, but still. Sol was a kid. If that’s what he wanted to do, he could do it when he was older. While he was still a minor and still living under Dalton’s roof, there’d me no drugs. 

Needing to get away from his son so he didn’t lose his cool, Dalton headed back inside and turned on the radio. His favorite songs always helped to calm him down, and soon enough he was in the mood to dance. He even laughed and cracked a smile when Lilah came to join him.

After his friends all had a chance with Sol’s bong, Sol decided to head out and enjoy the bonfire a bit. He expected his parents to be keeping each other company, but he’d been wrong. Dalton was by the bonfire as well. 

As soon as Sol stepped up beside him Dalton could tell he was high. “Seriously?” Dalton grumbled to his son. Sol shifted a bit, but tried to act like nothing was different. “I’m serious, Sol. Enough of this. If I catch you high again, I’m sending you to rehab.” 

“Rehab? For weed?” Sol tried not to, but the laughter spilled out of him. Which obviously only made Dalton more angry. 

“Think it’s not possible? Keep it up. You’ll find out.” 

For once, Sol was actually intimidated.

Later, the rest of Sol’s friends stop by. It was the first time they’d all been together under one roof since they’d aged up into teens. 

Starting from the left we have Clifford Turner - aka Cliff. He’s the youngest son of Penny and her husband William and Sol’s very best friend. Being Penny’s son, Sol and Cliff have known each other since they could walk. Though their mothers’ relationship has drifted, theirs has remained strong. 

Next to Cliff is Mila Landgraab, the adopted daughter of Nancy and Geoffrey. Sol met Mila in elementary school and just couldn’t seem to get rid of her. He disliked her at first - mostly because she only ever seemed interested in Cliff - but eventually she grew on him. 

Second to last is Finley, of course. Like Cliff, Fin and Sol have known each other since they were toddlers. With Braydon - Fin’s dad - being Dalton’s best friend, it was only natural. Finley always had a crush on Sol, but since Sol always seemed interest in Kiersten he always assumed he’d never get anywhere with him. 

Last but not least is Luz Pancakes, the daughter of Bob and Eliza! Sol and Luz met in high school so she’s quite new to the group, but she fits right in! Like Mila, Luz has a bit of a crush on Cliff, though she is very quiet about it. Only Sol knows.

Meanwhile, Kiersten entertains Dalton with the story of how she tried to steal Sol’s money. That fateful fight that ended things between the two and pushed him into Sol’s arms. 

Dalton wonders if there’s something wrong with this girl.

Sol could hardly believe the words that were coming out of Finley’s mouth. He’d expected Finley to be upset. Even if they didn’t break up, he couldn’t imagine Fin not being even just a bit hurt by everything. Yet Fin still gave him that smile. That reassuring look he always did. 

For a moment Sol wondered just what he’d done to get so lucky. Everything in his life seemed... perfect. Well, aside from Kiersten of course, but right then he wasn’t even thinking of that. His family, his friends, his boyfriend... all of them were so supportive. None of them laid into him like he’d expected. Nobody was disappointed or wanted to punish him. Right then, Sol truly felt loved. 

With tears pricking his eyes, Sol reached out and gently brushed his fingers along Fin’s cheek. “I love you, Fin,” Sol mumbled, letting the words spill out of him. Fin’s eyes widened - just a bit - before he absolutely melted. 

“Watcher, I love you so much,” he replied.

It was Simdependence Day, and Sol decided to invite Fin over.  There were a lot of things he needed to talk with him about and his nerves were making him sick. Would Finley leave him now that Kiersten was pregnant? Would he be suspicious about the timing? Would he be angry about Kiersten living with him? Sol didn’t want to fight, nor did he want to lose Fin, but these things needed to be discussed. 

“So... that’s everything,” Sol finished as he anxiously wrung his hands together. “I understand if you aren’t comfortable with it all. I don’t even know how I feel about it yet. My mom kind of took charge of everything without really asking me how I felt. I know nobody wants their boyfriend living with their sort of ex and future baby so if you want to end things I won’t be angry with you. I’m sor-” 

“Hey,” Fin interrupted Sol’s rambling. “Are ya going to let me talk at all?” 

“Sorry,” Sol sheepishly replied. 

“Look, the situation isn’t ideal at all. it certainly isn’t how I pictured spending my teenage years. Ya know, being with someone who has a kid and all that. But... honestly Sol, that isn’t enough to make me want to leave. Being a teenage dad is hard. Especially when you can’t stand the mother of your child. I’m not speaking from experience obviously, but I can just imagine. I want to be there for you.” Fin reached out and touched Sol’s arm. “I know we haven’t been together long, but I care about you a lot. Like, a lot. I’m going to be there for you every step of the way. We’ll tackle this together.”

hey everyone !! i’ve been trying to get an apprenticeship in the tattoo industry for about four years now, and because of that, i have a lot of artwork in my portfolio collecting dust. i decided to use it in my journey of learning how to make cc! so here’s a small collection of tattoos. they’re not individual tattoos yet, and instead just one whole full body set, but i will be breaking them down in the future/adding more/etc. all artworks are mine, so please do not steal them. it would break my heart.  they’re labelled as hyenagore rather than my simblr name, due to the fact that hyenagore is my online art business/brand. :)

And so, after a massive renovation to the once tiny house, Kiersten’s room was ready. 

Aunt Georgiana’s house started as a three bedroom, one bathroom when Ana first moved in. It’d been more than enough for her, then her and Dalton, then her and her first two children. Now, there were more sims than could be accommodated. A second floor was added, and Kiersten’s room was set up. Along with a room for her future baby and a shared bathroom between the two rooms. 

Anastasia wonders what other renovations the house will take on in the future.

“You won’t be alone,” Ana finished, a comforting smile on her face. Kiersten sniffled and blinked the tears away. It would be okay. She’d be okay. 

“Thank you,” she said, her voice hoarse from crying. Anastasia patted her shoulder. 

“Of course, hun. Now let’s get your new room set up.”
