Personal Records Of The Healer: Unum’s Peak, 45th Trine Of The Ninet (The name of which, I cannot recall)

This is meant in no disrespect towards urAc.

 I do appreciate his work greatly, and it has saved me time on numerous occasions, but it has occured to me that I should not rely so heavily on his note-taking abilities when his organization skills are…

Inadequate for my studies.

In his own words, he described the current state of his den as “Quite atrocious! … But with very little to actually be done about it.”. Now, I won’t entirely disagree, as these were most assuredly hundreds of trine of various loose notes and scripts. One would have to do away with the whole den, reorganizing it would simply take more hands than are available.

Though, I don’t doubt that this is also in deal a great part to urAc’s own unwillingness. Again, in no disrespect. I care for him dearly, but certainly the thought must have come to mind several times to at least start taking and storing notes in a more structured manner.

However, I digress. These pages are not intended to be used for such petty thoughts.

As it so quickly left my mind to explain before my apologies to our friend the Scribe, the purpose of these pages is to keep a record of my own personal notes in my medical studies so they may be of easier access, among keeping a more coherent track of the happenings within the Valley.

It has been an incredibly trying ninet for us, after all. Even the Herbalist seems to be worn down and anxious, though of course he states that he would rather not trouble anyone else with his worries. He says he’s just glad the Cook is finally doing better than the last few trine. I’ll suggest an increase in whatever he’s been trying recently, though I’m sure urNol is already quite ahead of me.

On that note, he did finally bring those new plant specimens I requested. I will still need his help in separating and labeling, of course. In the meantime, the scent of fresh leaves they carry is a nice change of pace from the dusty air of this den.
