driving to vegas in utter horror and awe at hundreds of miles of empty desert is in fact why i decided to set dagger's circus in all that beautiful desolation

admittedly my understanding of las vegas may be a bit distorted by only seeing it in movies and also when people complain about it online, but it seems that it's some kind of city-sized torture device where the spectre of advertising is ritualistically summoned into an orb in the middle of a very hot desert and then it attacks everyone living there all of the time while they gamble to keep their mind off it

#ive been to vegas 3 times and it is in fact a cartoon of a city #but i will say we drove there once and the sunset in that desert was one of the prettiest things i ever saw in my life #i believe there is a prison out there too #driving through the desert does make you a little insane though

OC: Macha Richter // Dark Days pt 1/3

This is very dark so I am putting it under a readmore

At Arasaka Macha meets a man she is supposed to marry and he gets her pregnant but has his own selfish reasons. Before she can give birth, the embryio is taken from her with force. She leaves Arasaka full of grief, bitterness and rage. She barely survives the operation and she doesn't even know how she can go on.

She does feel very self-destructive for a time. Which is part of what I am trying to show.

This hurt a lot shooting it for very personal reasons and I had it sitting in my drafts for a long time. But I think it's time, because I am processing so much lately and this is processing for me.

Not much to say. I randomly bought the Hellhound for Thyjs, did a job in the Badlands and then thought to pose him in front of the car. You see that didn't work out. Instead I did this (and more).

As always: I take pics first and think about the situation later because I love to interprete my own random doing. I came to the conclusion they had a day off and Thyjs needed some 'fresher' air away from the city and asked Ry to come with. In that way he could also try out his new offroad car (fucking Militech Hellhound yessss. I imagine to become also the team squad car). And after a fun dirt ride over sand and stones they stopped to make a pause in the late afternoon. Thyjs dozed off for a while and Ry doesn't dare to wake him up. <3

And Beatles, because— they are the Beatles and I wanted a cozy sweet song instead of some loud tunes. Besides that it toally fits to them both.

At long last! Sunny and Vik get their own hike! Sunny is very used to climbing up big ol rocks, but I don't imagine Vik gets out of the city too often lol boxing and climbing are very different skills. Sunny is supportive though, only picking on him a little bit before helping him the rest of the way up. They went up for the scenery, but I think Vik has a view he likes even better >w>
