Yeah I was watching the show last night when it happened. It was incredibly triggering and I didn’t sleep because of it. Bad move on New Japan’s part but not shocking behavior from Will, sadly.

But a good warning for people who don’t know! The things he said in his post match comments were also very upsetting and if domestic abuse/violence is a triggering subject for you PLEASE don’t watch it!!!

Important Announcement

Hello everyone!

Its been just under a month since the last little announcement, and this will be the final one.

Jay and I talked about it, and we’ve decided to leave this blog inactive. Whether that's indefinite or if one of us will come back, that’s really not certain. We don’t want to hand it over to anyone else though, so we’re just gonna leave it where it is. You’re free to reblog boards and such as y’all want, of course. But nothing new will be posted, requests are closed, etc. 

Thank you for following us and supporting us in this! I (RJ) will still check the askbox and answer questions for the next few days if anyone has any.

Okay hello! I had a very important doctors appointment that I just got home from and I can now better address the Chuck Taylor stuff.

He will be added to the first tier of the blacklist, the content freeze, until further notice/until I can figure something better out. I’m in between a lot of stuff right now and I currently don’t have the time to put together a better response to this. It’ll be readdressed at a later date when I can give it more attention and I’m not running back and forth between hospitals. 

Thank you to the people who talked to me about it and helped me remember that this isn’t something I have the power to forgive.

when is chuck taylor being blacklisted for saying the n word on video and having a racist wrestling gimmick, or rhea ripley who used the f word in a derogatory way?

First of all, stop coming in my askbox and phrasing this question like this. ‘When is [wrestler] being blacklisted for [thing]?’ is rude and demanding. Especially when it’s about someone we’ve addressed before, which you would know if you looked at our FAQ page (not on mobile), or searched Rhea Ripley’s name (although I know that can be faulty). You could also simply just ask ‘is [wrestler] blacklisted?’ or ‘have you considered blacklisting [wrestler] for [reason]?’

Secondly, as has now been addressed several times, Rhea Ripley apologized, and we accepted her apology as sincere. I know not everyone does, and that’s fine. If you want to follow the blog but don’t want to see her, you can blacklist her name in your dashboard settings, as everything including her is tagged.

As for Chuck Taylor, he has also apologized, though its currently midnight and I have to get up early for a doctors appointment so I don’t have the energy to find it right now. He won’t be blacklisted. You’re welcome to blacklist his name in your settings as well though.

Edit: In the morning, when my brain is working better, I’ll hunt down the apology stuff and add more to address his issues. 

I understand y’all may not be comfortable with everyone that gets posted on the blog. Me saying you can blacklist them in your settings is not meant to sound like I’m brushing you off. It’s a genuine recommendation. I have a bunch of wrestlers in my dashboard blacklist, because I simply don’t want to see content for them. I know it doesn’t always work, but when it does, it’s nice. It makes it easier to be on my dash and enjoy tumblr, and I think y’all should take advantage of it.

If you have a recommendation for the blacklist and can’t find that it’s already been addressed by us anywhere, you’re more than welcome to come tell me who and why. But don’t phrase it like this anymore. If you have a question, then ask a question. If you have a demand, find a way to rephrase it so you’re not yelling at me. After 2 1/2 years of running this blog and dealing with rude anons acting like this is easy, I don’t have a tolerance for being yelled at anymore.

I noticed Joey Janela wasn't on the most recent updated blacklist. Has his ban been lifted? Also, sorry if it sounds silly, but do you mind explaining "Marty is a nonce" thing? I hadn't been aware of it. I don't know for sure if I can say Kenny and The Bucks are still friends with Marty (I hope they're not). But I believe Hangman Page did cut ties with him and Joey Ryan after they were both exposed. And content involving Joey was removed from the Being The Elite channel.

I don’t recall if we changed his status or not (stupid brain), but now that it’s just me, he’s most definitely still blacklisted, both because of his actions and because of my general discomfort with him.

As for Marty, it’s...more than confirmed that he’s slept with underage girls a number of times. Right now I’m tired and don’t quite have it in me to pull together articles and such about it, but it’s easy to find if you search for it.

I’m fairly positive they are, at the very least, still involved with him to an extent, as their was a rumor not too long ago that he would make an appearance in AEW. That rumor was, more or less, started by the three of them (Kenny/Bucks). As for Page...I don’t know. I’m really torn when it comes to a decision about him in regards to this.

Thank you for sending me the link! I honestly only read a tiny bit because it quickly became very triggering for me as someone who had something very similar happen, but now that I know I can confidently say I hate him even more and he is 100% permanently blacklisted.

I don't know if he's something you've ever gotten asks for but Chase Owens is another open secret like Marty

Why Cody is blacklisted

I would link the post for Jinny, but it includes several others and has triggering content. Jinny is blacklisted due to accusations of her being incredibly rude to other wrestlers out of the ring/behind the scenes, unprovoked/for no reason. We think that’s...unnecessary and shitty of her, and so we added her to the list for the time being.

I may or may not revisit Jinny’s blacklist status, depending on what I can find researching incidents. But Cody’s is permanent.

Also, you’re not bugging me! I understand not everyone knows stuff and I’m happy to answer these questions!

Hi. Three things.

I’ve seen the several asks about someone being abusive/manipulative. I appreciate that y’all have told me and Im aware of the accusations against them now. I’ll be wary in the future of them. But.

I explicitly said in my (long) post, don’t bring your drama to me. If you have a personal issue with someone, I don’t want to hear about it here. This blog isn’t the place for that. This blog is only for headcanons. That’s it.

I blocked that person a while ago. I won’t answer any asks about them and I’ll continue to delete the ones that come in. I dealt with the issue already and I would appreciate it if you guys understood that and stopped bringing it back up. That issue was the one that caused me to take my break, and seemed to play a part in Jay leaving. It was hard enough the first time, I don’t want to deal with it again.

Any other questions/comments/concerns, you’re more than welcome to send them in. I’ll either answer your ask or I’ll make a post like this addressing it.

Hey! Do you think Matt Hardy & Mox/Ambrose have grown from their past homophobia incidents?

I think Mox has, personally. But, aside from that... I didn’t know Matt Hardy had any homophobic incidents!

I looked it up and read about it. I can’t watch the video, hard as I’ve tried, because I just can’t find it. With that being said...yes. I think he has. About two years after the video incident, he made a (semi in-character) tweet about having to tolerance for slurs (and also no tolerance for s*icide baiting). I think he’s grown and changed. 

If anyone has more info on the Matt Hardy stuff, I’m happy to look at it and think it over again. For now, I’m going to say yes, I think they’ve both grown.

About the Kenny and Don Callis situation, I know people are triggered by the implication of the relationship (whether it's a**se, in**st, man**ulation, etc) but genuinely asking:

Are they actually family? I know Kenny calls him uncle Don and such, but if this is the storyline they're going with, I for one don't think it's sexual. It does read as man**pulative, but we don't know how the storyline ends. Maybe Kenny will realize what Don has been doing and break out of the relationship.

And I think it's unfair to blacklist Kenny for a storyline, but that's just me.

This is probably the last time I’m going to openly talk about this storyline, simply because last time it was incredibly damaging to me.

No. They aren’t, by blood, family. But they have known each other since Kenny was an actual child. Excluding what some people may or may not see to be sexual, it is manipulation, and it is triggering. Maybe the storyline ends nicely, but that’s not the point. The point is that it was written in the first place, and Kenny was involved in the writing.

Again, if Kenny is blacklisted at all, it may or may not be for this reason. There’s also the stuff with Marty, and my own personal issues with him that make me not want to create content for him hardly at all. If anything, he will likely remain on a content freeze until I can make a more proper choice. I know a lot of you aren’t gonna like that, but that’s the best I can offer right now.

The only other thing I can think to say is the reminder that I support any of you having a go at making this kind of content, and I’m happy to privately speak to anyone about it and offer up advice from myself and advice that Jay had previously given on how we made/make it.

See, that’s the keyword. If he didn’t know. Except...everyone did. It’s been an ongoing joke in the wrestling world for quite a while. Literally ‘Marty’s a nonce’ was a common thing to chant. I knew about it before I even really knew who Marty and The Elite was. There’s no way Kenny, or any of them for that matter, didn’t have some kind of idea about it. As much as it pains me to say.

Kenny, Matt, Nick, and even Adam are going to be considered. Because of all of them, to some extent, had to have known about it just a little. This isn’t guarantee any of them will be blacklisted, either at all or for this reason. Kenny/Matt/Nick are also being considered for several other reasons. This is just...the newest one.
