dear multimuse writers, remember that it is absolutely one hundred percent okay and valid to show a preference to a muse / or muses you are writing. there is no shame whatsoever in having favourites, or finding yourself connecting with your writing for a muse more over others.
please remember that the most important thing for you is that you have fun. muses don't need to share a spotlight or have equal time and presence on your blog. just keep doing what you enjoy & please do not pressure yourselves into writing for a muse when it just isn't there. write because you want to.
PSA: IF WE’RE IN A MUTUAL AND YOU WANT TO THROW A STARTER AT ME BECAUSE YOUR MUSE WANTS MINE OR YOU JUST WANT TO ROLEPLAY IN GENERAL —- JUST DO IT. I PROMISE, I’LL SCREAM WITH HAPPINESS IF YOU DO. YOU’RE NOT BOTHERING ME ; I WANT TO ROLEPLAY WITH ALL OF THE PEOPLE I FOLLOW. OKAY, YOU’RE ALL WONDERFUL. PCE.
the show (going out to get groceries. making myself a nice dinner. showering and opening the windows. being kind to myself in everything i do) Must go on
it’s okay if you struggle. it’s okay if you don’t feel like writing today. it’s okay if you take breaks. it’s okay if you don’t want to talk to others. your mental well-being is always more important than your activity here and you don’t owe anyone an explanation if you don’t want to give one.
[BREATHES DEEPLY] I NEED A PLOT WHERE MUSE A AND MUSE B HAD BEEN DATING FOR LIKE 3 YEARS AND IT WAS REALLY HELLA SERIOUS BUT ONE DAY MUSE A JUST UP AND LEAVES BECAUSE SHE GETS SCARED OF THE COMMITMENT AND ALL OF THAT AND THEN LIKE THREE MONTHS AFTER SHE BROKE UP WITH HIM IT’S POURING DOWN RAIN AND SHE SHOWS UP AT HIS DOOR STEP COMPLETELY SOAKED TO THE BONE AND SHIVERING AND SHE’S PROBABLY GOING TO GET A COLD AND SHE’S ALL “I DIDN’T KNOW WHERE ELSE TO GO” IDK ??? LIKE THIS IF YOU WANNA DO IT

You are not always going to have the inspiration to write. And that’s okay.
You are not always going to have the energy to write. And that’s okay.
You are not always going to have the time to write. And that’s okay.
Real life and health are more important than RP. Remember to take care of yourself. Be kind to yourself. And, please, never push yourself for the sake of this hobby.

Never hold your muse back. For real. If your muse wants to lash out at mine, or kiss mine, or tell mine a horrible secret, or slam mine against a wall — go for it. Don’t ever feel like I’ll get your reply and judge you or your muse. Your character has specific feelings, instincts, and desires, and if they want to do something, don’t hold them back. I want to roleplay with your muse in their entirety, the whole truth of your character, not a watered-down version. Never feel nervous — just let it happen as it happens, and it’ll all be great.
