if you like to watch competition reality tv and also want to become a better illustrator (and designer in general), watch TONS of inkmaster! their crits and challenges are actually REALLY good and repeatedly binging that show has genuinely made me better in my irl professional design/illustration work

all of the episodes are on paramount but also obviously 🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️🏴‍☠️ as well

i know this is old news in internet time but one of the MANY embarrassing things about the watcher tv situation is their streaming platform’s url

they went with “watchertv.com” instead of “watcher.tv” which is absolutely insane

in this day and age, “watchertv.com” is effectively the same as “watcherdotnet.com” like WHY would you add two syllables??

it’s literally the same thing as building your website on squarespace, paying for a custom domain, and making that custom domain “mywebsite.squarespace.com” anyway

Buckynat Art Parody Series No. 2: Klimt’s The Kiss

I flipped two major elements of this: 1. the composition, so we could see the cool geometry in Bucky’s arm, and 2. the color scheme, since Bucky and Nat wear dark colors. (So the foreground/characters are dark, and the background is light – the opposite of the original.) 

Maybe it’s because I’m a graphic designer, but I had a ridiculous amount of fun with this!!!
