ALL I SAID WAS "I want a tattoo" and dad #1 stormed out and stormed back in with a blow torch (why) and dad #2 went really pale and just for once I'd like to live in a normal family.

something i think a lot of people are overlooking about the teen wolf movie is that it follows the same way teen wolf did: this is a story scott is telling. we know exactly what that means — this is a case of unreliable narrator.
hence, nothing happened might ever have happened that way, especially dialogue or deaths.

My fix it fic idea:
Peter says "lol no" and breaks all the rules to bring back his darling nephew from the grave because he'll be damned if he lets him rot in ashes.
Yes of course Stiles helps. Peter is the one that goes to tell him in person about the news.
Stiles takes it in for about 5 seconds and then calmly says "so what are we gonna do about it."
And Peter smiles and says "this is why you were always my favorite."

Also guys… uh Eli isn’t “the middle letters of Stiles backwards” that’s so obscure, his grandfathers name is literally Elias. Elias, the one who went by “Stiles” first. Eli and Stiles both have the sherif’s father’s name

love that the coach is still an absolute mad man. only knows the names of like six of his students and they all graduated 15 years ago. doesn’t recognize derek hale unless he’s wearing all black and stalking said students by the bleachers. let’s 32 year old scott mccall play in the lacrosse game. may or may not remember that scott is a werewolf. just an absolute gem, rock on cupcake

☕ Peter Hale (yes I know you have been posting about him a lot but it's important)
that man means so much to me. he really does. he goes crazy goes stupid, gets killed by his nephew like the world's most embarrassing shakespeare character, facilitates his own resurrection from beyond the grave, comes back relatively (for him) sane and then spends the rest of the series just like. entering rooms and swinging his hips and pushing his cleavage into people's faces. i mean he's largely ornamental after a certain point which is endlessly funny. that's a de-clawed mass murderer. without a doubt he'd unironically refer to himself as a Personality Hire. he needs to be Phantom Thread-ed SO BAD. like literally he needs to settle down he needs to be flat on his back, helpless-

okay well according to MEEEEE the only three options for derek hale's middle name are
A) aloysius B) meredith C) peter
obviously all three are tragic for different reasons.

i'm not rewatching s5 yet. but whenever i go back to it, i think about theo's relationship with pain.
i should have put this in my review, but i forgot to add this thought (maybe i'll edit it later, bc i think it's too messy).
theo always seemed apathetic about pain to me, as if pain were something normal and constant in the distorted view of the world that the dread doctors installed in his mind. any kind of way that would inflict pain on him, theo's response never seemed to be how a "normal" person would react. to him, it's almost like it's nothing. theo would heal in a few minutes, move on and never think about it again. as if it never happened.
and that takes me back to the dread doctors creating him and teaching theo everything he needed to know to turn this machine into the shape of a human being, who would eventually be a part of their plan to revive the beast.
and, again, this fits perfectly with years and years of being subjected to surgery without anesthesia. BUT. as a child still learning about this world and being in the hands of manipulative psychopaths, i see theo being fooled into thinking that being hurt by the dread doctors in any way (not just surgery) was a form of learning. as if he felt he deserved it for not meeting the expectations of the figures he has as a parent. but not in a negative way -- in a positive way. because he would believe it might encourage him to improve and become what the dread doctors want him to be.
and what theo believes is what he needs to be. his views of right and wrong would intermingle and he would believe what the dread doctors taught him. because he has nothing else to compare it to. that's the only truth he has.

okay the teen wolf movie is both stupid and bad for a lot of reasons but I think people are passing over the also stupid a choice to have derek’s (rip dilf king lmao) kid adopted by scott and allison. Like okay he doesn’t have a mother that exists (???) and allison is both legally dead and never graduated high school (is still possibly technically 16?) but also derek fully has living family?? (both of who would be able to relate to seeing your family burned alive lmao)
like malia ended s6 as a full established adult woman and cora just dipped after s3 yeah but was still alive and I believe in contact with derek still
anyway imagine being malia and your cousin dying and his son getting adopted by your ex-boyfriend who is back with his reincarnated 10th grade girlfriend instead of like you

Scott and Alison are going to be so embarrassed when there's the reading of the will and they find out Derek named Stiles as Eli's legal guardian. That's my head canon damn it. Cause oh my god, how did it come to giving Scott Derek's kid? How did it come to Scott, Mr. Maybe they deserved? Who tried to defend Kate's burning Derek's family because he's obsessed with Alison? And how did it come to Derek's son being given to an Argent? To Alison the niece of the woman that raped Derek? Who murdered his family by manipulating him and saddling him with the guilt and mindset that it was his fault they were killed? The same Alison who believed Kate and went all hunter on her friend's asses until she started getting some with a couple of werewolves?
Also, wonder how that selective memory thing is going for her right now? What happens after she remembers Isaac and oops sorry Scott time to do the on again off again thing - cause there's was never the epic love story for that show, I'm sorry.
